הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים from beginning hā·ri·šō·nîm וְהָאַחֲרֹנִ֑ים to end — wə·hā·’a·ḥă·rō·nîm הִנָּ֣ם they are indeed hin·nām כְּתוּבִ֔ים written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֥פֶר the Book sê·p̄er מַלְכֵֽי־ of the Kings mal·ḵê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וִיהוּדָֽה׃ and Judah . wî·hū·ḏāh 2 Chronicles 36:1 עַם־ Then the people ‘am- הָאָ֔רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּקְחוּ֙ took way·yiq·ḥū יְהוֹאָחָ֖ז Jehoahaz yə·hō·w·’ā·ḥāz בֶּן־ son ben- יֹאשִׁיָּ֑הוּ of Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū וַיַּמְלִיכֻ֥הוּ and made him king way·yam·lî·ḵu·hū בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim תַֽחַת־ in place of ṯa·ḥaṯ- אָבִ֖יו his father . ’ā·ḇîw 2 Chronicles 36:2 יוֹאָחָ֣ז Jehoahaz yō·w·’ā·ḥāz שָׁל֧וֹשׁ was twenty-three šā·lō·wōš וְעֶשְׂרִ֛ים . . . wə·‘eś·rîm בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָ֖ה . . . šā·nāh בְּמָלְכ֑וֹ when he became king , bə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה three ū·šə·lō·šāh חֳדָשִׁ֔ים months . ḥo·ḏā·šîm 2 Chronicles 36:3 מֶֽלֶךְ־ And the king me·leḵ- מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim וַיְסִירֵ֥הוּ dethroned him way·sî·rê·hū בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וַֽיַּעֲנֹשׁ֙ and imposed way·ya·‘ă·nōš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֔רֶץ on [Judah] {a levy} hā·’ā·reṣ מֵאָ֥ה of a hundred mê·’āh כִכַּר־ talents ḵik·kar- כֶּ֖סֶף of silver ke·sep̄ וְכִכַּ֥ר and a talent wə·ḵik·kar זָהָֽב׃ of gold . zā·hāḇ 2 Chronicles 36:4 מֶֽלֶךְ־ Then Neco king me·leḵ- מִצְרַ֜יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֶלְיָקִ֣ים {made} Eliakim ’el·yā·qîm אָחִ֗יו brother of Jehoahaz ’ā·ḥîw וַיַּמְלֵ֨ךְ king way·yam·lêḵ עַל־ over ‘al- יְהוּדָה֙ Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם and Jerusalem , wî·rū·šā·lim וַיַּסֵּ֥ב and he changed way·yas·sêḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁמ֖וֹ Eliakim’s name šə·mōw יְהוֹיָקִ֑ים to Jehoiakim . yə·hō·w·yā·qîm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- נְכ֔וֹ But Neco nə·ḵōw לָקַ֣ח took lā·qaḥ אָחִיו֙ Eliakim’s brother ’ā·ḥîw יוֹאָחָ֤ז Jehoahaz yō·w·’ā·ḥāz וַיְבִיאֵ֖הוּ and carried him off way·ḇî·’ê·hū מִצְרָֽיְמָה׃פ to Egypt . miṣ·rā·yə·māh 2 Chronicles 36:5 יְהוֹיָקִ֣ים Jehoiakim yə·hō·w·yā·qîm עֶשְׂרִ֨ים was twenty-five ‘eś·rîm וְחָמֵ֤שׁ . . . wə·ḥā·mêš בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָה֙ . . . šā·nāh בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ when he became king , bə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וְאַחַ֤ת eleven wə·’a·ḥaṯ עֶשְׂרֵה֙ . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָ֔ה years . šā·nāh וַיַּ֣עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הָרַ֔ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֖י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ his God . ’ĕ·lō·hāw 2 Chronicles 36:6 נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֖ר Then Nebuchadnezzar nə·ḇū·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ בָּבֶ֑ל of Babylon bā·ḇel עָלָ֔ה came up ‘ā·lāh
