וַיַּעֲשׂ֨וּ also observed way·ya·‘ă·śū הַפֶּ֖סַח the Passover hap·pe·saḥ הַהִ֑יא at that ha·hî וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- בָּעֵ֣ת time , bā·‘êṯ חַ֥ג as well as the Feast ḥaḡ הַמַּצּ֖וֹת of Unleavened Bread ham·maṣ·ṣō·wṯ שִׁבְעַ֥ת for seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִֽים׃ days . yā·mîm 2 Chronicles 35:18 וְלֹֽא־ No wə·lō- כָּמֹ֙הוּ֙ such kā·mō·hū פֶ֤סַח Passover p̄e·saḥ נַעֲשָׂ֨ה had been observed na·‘ă·śāh בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל in Israel bə·yiś·rā·’êl מִימֵ֖י since the days mî·mê שְׁמוּאֵ֣ל of Samuel šə·mū·’êl הַנָּבִ֑יא the prophet . han·nā·ḇî וְכָל־ None wə·ḵāl לֹֽא־ . . . lō- מַלְכֵ֣י of the kings mal·ḵê יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל׀ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl עָשׂ֡וּ ever observed ‘ā·śū כַּפֶּ֣סַח a Passover kap·pe·saḥ אֲשֶׁר־ like the one that ’ă·šer- יֹֽ֠אשִׁיָּהוּ Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū עָשָׂ֣ה observed ‘ā·śāh וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים with the priests , wə·hak·kō·hă·nîm וְהַלְוִיִּ֤ם the Levites , wə·hal·wî·yim וְכָל־ all wə·ḵāl יְהוּדָה֙ Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל the Israelites wə·yiś·rā·’êl הַנִּמְצָ֔א who were present , han·nim·ṣā וְיוֹשְׁבֵ֖י and the people wə·yō·wō·šə·ḇê יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ס of Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim 2 Chronicles 35:19 בִּשְׁמוֹנֶ֤ה In the eighteenth biš·mō·w·neh עֶשְׂרֵה֙ . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָ֔ה year šā·nāh יֹאשִׁיָּ֑הוּ of Josiah’s yō·šî·yā·hū לְמַלְכ֖וּת reign , lə·mal·ḵūṯ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַפֶּ֥סַח Passover hap·pe·saḥ נַעֲשָׂ֖ה was observed . na·‘ă·śāh 2 Chronicles 35:20 אַחֲרֵ֣י After ’a·ḥă·rê כָל־ all ḵāl זֹ֗את this , zōṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר when ’ă·šer יֹֽאשִׁיָּ֙הוּ֙ Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הֵכִ֤ין had set hê·ḵîn הַבַּ֔יִת the temple {in order} , hab·ba·yiṯ נְכ֧וֹ Neco nə·ḵōw מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- מִצְרַ֛יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim עָלָ֞ה marched up ‘ā·lāh לְהִלָּחֵ֥ם to fight lə·hil·lā·ḥêm בְּכַרְכְּמִ֖ישׁ at Carchemish bə·ḵar·kə·mîš עַל־ by ‘al- פְּרָ֑ת the Euphrates , pə·rāṯ יֹאשִׁיָּֽהוּ׃ and Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū וַיֵּצֵ֥א went out way·yê·ṣê לִקְרָאת֖וֹ to confront him . liq·rā·ṯōw 2 Chronicles 35:21 וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח But Neco sent way·yiš·laḥ מַלְאָכִ֣ים׀ messengers mal·’ā·ḵîm אֵלָ֣יו to him , ’ê·lāw לֵאמֹר֩׀ saying , lê·mōr מַה־ “ What is the issue between you and me mah- לִּ֨י . . . lî וָלָ֜ךְ . . . , wā·lāḵ מֶ֣לֶךְ O king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah ? yə·hū·ḏāh לֹא־ I have not lō- עָלֶ֨יךָ come against ‘ā·le·ḵā אַתָּ֤ה you ’at·tāh הַיּוֹם֙ today , hay·yō·wm כִּ֚י but kî אֶל־ . . . ’el- מִלְחַמְתִּ֔י I am fighting mil·ḥam·tî בֵּ֣ית another dynasty . bêṯ וֵאלֹהִ֖ים God wê·lō·hîm אָמַ֣ר told me ’ā·mar לְבַֽהֲלֵ֑נִי to hurry ; lə·ḇa·hă·lê·nî חֲדַל־ so stop ḥă·ḏal- לְךָ֛ lə·ḵā מֵאֱלֹהִ֥ים opposing God , mê·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- עִמִּ֖י is with me , ‘im·mî וְאַל־ or wə·’al- יַשְׁחִיתֶֽךָ׃ He will destroy you !” yaš·ḥî·ṯe·ḵā
