2 Chronicles 35:7 הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ס From his ham·me·leḵ מֵרְכ֥וּשׁ own mê·rə·ḵūš צֹ֞אן flocks [and herds] ṣōn יֹאשִׁיָּ֣הוּ Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū וַיָּ֣רֶם contributed way·yā·rem לִבְנֵ֪י - liḇ·nê שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים 30,000 {} šə·lō·šîm אֶ֔לֶף . . . ’e·lep̄ כְּבָשִׂ֣ים lambs kə·ḇā·śîm וּבְנֵֽי־ and ū·ḇə·nê- עִזִּים֮ goats ‘iz·zîm שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת plus 3,000 šə·lō·šeṯ אֲלָפִ֑ים . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm אֵ֖לֶּה . . . ’êl·leh וּבָקָ֖ר bulls ū·ḇā·qār הַכֹּ֣ל hak·kōl לַפְּסָחִים֒ for the Passover offerings lap·pə·sā·ḥîm לְכָל־ for all lə·ḵāl הָעָ֟ם the people hā·‘ām הַנִּמְצָ֗א who were present han·nim·ṣā לְמִסְפַּר֙ . . . . lə·mis·par 2 Chronicles 35:8 וְשָׂרָ֞יו His officials wə·śā·rāw הֵרִ֑ימוּ also contributed hê·rî·mū לִנְדָבָ֥ה willingly lin·ḏā·ḇāh לָעָ֛ם to the people lā·‘ām לַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים and priests lak·kō·hă·nîm וְלַלְוִיִּ֖ם and Levites . wə·lal·wî·yim חִלְקִיָּ֨ה Hilkiah , ḥil·qî·yāh וּזְכַרְיָ֜הוּ Zechariah , ū·zə·ḵar·yā·hū וִֽיחִיאֵ֗ל and Jehiel , wî·ḥî·’êl נְגִידֵי֙ the administrators nə·ḡî·ḏê בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm נָתְנ֣וּ gave nā·ṯə·nū לַכֹּהֲנִ֞ים the priests lak·kō·hă·nîm אַלְפַּ֙יִם֙ 2,600 ’al·pa·yim וְשֵׁ֣שׁ . . . wə·šêš מֵא֔וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ לַפְּסָחִ֗ים Passover [offerings] lap·pə·sā·ḥîm שְׁלֹ֥שׁ and 300 šə·lōš מֵאֽוֹת׃ . . . mê·’ō·wṯ וּבָקָ֖ר bulls . ū·ḇā·qār 2 Chronicles 35:9 וְכָונַנְיָהוּ Additionally, Conaniah wə·ḵå̄·w·nan·yå̄·hū אֶחָ֗יו and his brothers ’e·ḥāw וּשְׁמַֽעְיָ֨הוּ Shemaiah ū·šə·ma‘·yā·hū וּנְתַנְאֵ֜ל and Nethanel , ū·nə·ṯan·’êl וַחֲשַׁבְיָ֧הוּ as well as Hashabiah , wa·ḥă·šaḇ·yā·hū וִיעִיאֵ֛ל Jeiel , wî·‘î·’êl וְיוֹזָבָ֖ד and Jozabad , wə·yō·w·zā·ḇāḏ שָׂרֵ֣י officers śā·rê הַלְוִיִּ֑ם of the Levites , hal·wî·yim הֵרִ֨ימוּ donated hê·rî·mū לַלְוִיִּ֤ם to the Levites lal·wî·yim חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת 5,000 {} ḥă·mê·šeṯ אֲלָפִ֔ים . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm לַפְּסָחִים֙ Passover offerings lap·pə·sā·ḥîm חֲמֵ֥שׁ and 500 ḥă·mêš מֵאֽוֹת׃ . . . mê·’ō·wṯ וּבָקָ֖ר bulls . ū·ḇā·qār 2 Chronicles 35:10 הָעֲבוֹדָ֑ה So the service hā·‘ă·ḇō·w·ḏāh וַתִּכּ֖וֹן was prepared ; wat·tik·kō·wn הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וַיַּֽעַמְד֨וּ stood way·ya·‘am·ḏū עַל־ in ‘al- עָמְדָ֛ם their places ‘ā·mə·ḏām וְהַלְוִיִּ֥ם and the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim עַל־ in ‘al- מַחְלְקוֹתָ֖ם their divisions maḥ·lə·qō·w·ṯām הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ according to the king’s ham·me·leḵ כְּמִצְוַ֥ת command . kə·miṣ·waṯ 2 Chronicles 35:11 וַֽיִּשְׁחֲט֖וּ And they slaughtered way·yiš·ḥă·ṭū הַפָּ֑סַח the Passover lambs , hap·pā·saḥ הַכֹּהֲנִים֙ while the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וַיִּזְרְק֤וּ sprinkled the blood way·yiz·rə·qū מִיָּדָ֔ם handed to them mî·yā·ḏām וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם and the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim מַפְשִׁיטִֽים׃ skinned [the animals] . map̄·šî·ṭîm 2 Chronicles 35:12 וַיָּסִ֨ירוּ They set aside way·yā·sî·rū הָעֹלָ֜ה the burnt offerings hā·‘ō·lāh לְ֠תִתָּם to be given lə·ṯit·tām לְמִפְלַגּ֤וֹת to the divisions lə·mip̄·lag·gō·wṯ אָבוֹת֙ of the families ’ā·ḇō·wṯ לְבֵית־ . . . lə·ḇêṯ- לִבְנֵ֣י vvv liḇ·nê
