2 Chronicles 35:1 יֹאשִׁיָּ֧הוּ Then Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū וַיַּ֨עַשׂ celebrated way·ya·‘aś פֶּ֖סַח the Passover pe·saḥ לַיהוָ֑ה to YHWH Yah·weh בִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֛ם in Jerusalem , ḇî·rū·šā·lim הַפֶּ֔סַח and the Passover lamb hap·pe·saḥ וַיִּשְׁחֲט֣וּ was slaughtered way·yiš·ḥă·ṭū בְּאַרְבָּעָ֥ה on the fourteenth bə·’ar·bā·‘āh עָשָׂ֖ר . . . ‘ā·śār הָרִאשֽׁוֹן׃ day of the first hā·ri·šō·wn לַחֹ֥דֶשׁ month . la·ḥō·ḏeš 2 Chronicles 35:2 וַיַּעֲמֵ֥ד He appointed way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm עַל־ to ‘al- מִשְׁמְרוֹתָ֑ם their duties miš·mə·rō·w·ṯām וַֽיְחַזְּקֵ֔ם and encouraged them way·ḥaz·zə·qêm לַעֲבוֹדַ֖ת in the service la·‘ă·ḇō·w·ḏaṯ בֵּ֥ית of the house bêṯ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh 2 Chronicles 35:3 לַ֠לְוִיִּם To the Levites lal·wî·yim הַמְּבוּנִים who taught ham·mə·ḇū·nīm לְכָל־ all lə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl הַקְּדוֹשִׁ֣ים and were holy haq·qə·ḏō·wō·šîm לַיהוָ֗ה to YHWH , Yah·weh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר [Josiah] said : way·yō·mer תְּנ֤וּ “ Put tə·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ the holy haq·qō·ḏeš אֲרוֹן־ ark ’ă·rō·wn- בַּ֠בַּיִת in the temple bab·ba·yiṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer בָּנָ֜ה built bā·nāh שְׁלֹמֹ֤ה by Solomon šə·lō·mōh בֶן־ son ḇen- דָּוִיד֙ of David dā·wîḏ מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl אֵין־ It is not to be ’ên- לָכֶ֥ם lā·ḵem מַשָּׂ֖א carried around maś·śā בַּכָּתֵ֑ף on your shoulders . bak·kā·ṯêp̄ עַתָּ֗ה Now ‘at·tāh עִבְדוּ֙ serve ‘iḇ·ḏū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם your God ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem וְאֵ֖ת - wə·’êṯ עַמּ֥וֹ and His people ‘am·mōw יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Israel . yiś·rā·’êl 2 Chronicles 35:4 וְהָכִ֥ונוּ Prepare [yourselves] wə·hå̄·ḵi·w·nū לְבֵית־ by families lə·ḇêṯ- אֲבוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם . . . ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem כְּמַחְלְקוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם in your divisions , kə·maḥ·lə·qō·w·ṯê·ḵem בִּכְתָ֗ב according to the instructions written biḵ·ṯāḇ דָּוִיד֙ by David dā·wîḏ מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וּבְמִכְתַּ֖ב and ū·ḇə·miḵ·taḇ שְׁלֹמֹ֥ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh בְנֽוֹ׃ his son . ḇə·nōw 2 Chronicles 35:5 וְעִמְד֣וּ Moreover, stand wə·‘im·ḏū בַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ in the Holy Place ḇaq·qō·ḏeš לִפְלֻגּוֹת֙ by the divisions lip̄·lug·gō·wṯ הָֽאָב֔וֹת of the families hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ בֵּ֣ית . . . bêṯ לַאֲחֵיכֶ֖ם of your kinsmen la·’ă·ḥê·ḵem בְּנֵ֣י the lay people bə·nê הָעָ֑ם . . . , hā·‘ām וַחֲלֻקַּ֥ת and by the divisions wa·ḥă·luq·qaṯ אָ֖ב of the families ’āḇ בֵּֽית־ . . . bêṯ- לַלְוִיִּֽם׃ of the Levites . lal·wî·yim 2 Chronicles 35:6 וְשַׁחֲט֖וּ Slaughter wə·ša·ḥă·ṭū הַפָּ֑סַח the Passover lambs , hap·pā·saḥ וְהִתְקַדְּשׁוּ֙ consecrate yourselves , wə·hiṯ·qad·də·šū וְהָכִ֣ינוּ and make preparations wə·hā·ḵî·nū לַאֲחֵיכֶ֔ם for your fellow countrymen la·’ă·ḥê·ḵem לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת to carry out la·‘ă·śō·wṯ כִּדְבַר־ the word kiḏ·ḇar- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh בְּיַד־ [given] by bə·yaḏ- מֹשֶֽׁה׃פ Moses .” mō·šeh
