הָעָ֔ם of the people hā·‘ām לְהַקְרִיב֙ to offer lə·haq·rîḇ לַיהוָ֔ה to YHWH , Yah·weh כַּכָּת֖וּב as is written kak·kā·ṯūḇ בְּסֵ֣פֶר in the Book bə·sê·p̄er מֹשֶׁ֑ה of Moses ; mō·šeh וְכֵ֖ן and they did the same wə·ḵên לַבָּקָֽר׃ with the bulls . lab·bā·qār 2 Chronicles 35:13 וַֽיְבַשְּׁל֥וּ They roasted way·ḇaš·šə·lū הַפֶּ֛סַח the Passover [animals] hap·pe·saḥ בָּאֵ֖שׁ on the fire bā·’êš כַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט according to the regulation , kam·miš·pāṭ בִּשְּׁל֗וּ and they boiled biš·šə·lū וְהַקֳּדָשִׁ֣ים the [other] holy [offerings] wə·haq·qo·ḏā·šîm בַּסִּיר֤וֹת in pots , bas·sî·rō·wṯ וּבַדְּוָדִים֙ kettles , ū·ḇad·də·wā·ḏîm וּבַצֵּ֣לָח֔וֹת and bowls ū·ḇaṣ·ṣê·lā·ḥō·wṯ וַיָּרִ֖יצוּ and quickly brought them way·yā·rî·ṣū לְכָל־ to all lə·ḵāl בְּנֵ֥י vvv bə·nê הָעָֽם׃ the people . hā·‘ām 2 Chronicles 35:14 וְאַחַ֗ר Afterward , wə·’a·ḥar הֵכִ֤ינוּ they made preparations hê·ḵî·nū לָהֶם֙ for themselves lā·hem וְלַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים and for the priests , wə·lak·kō·hă·nîm כִּ֤י since kî הַכֹּהֲנִים֙ the priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm בְּנֵ֣י the descendants bə·nê אַהֲרֹ֔ן of Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn בְּהַֽעֲל֛וֹת [were] offering up bə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ הָעוֹלָ֥ה burnt offerings hā·‘ō·w·lāh וְהַחֲלָבִ֖ים and fat wə·ha·ḥă·lā·ḇîm עַד־ until ‘aḏ- לָ֑יְלָה nightfall . lā·yə·lāh וְהַלְוִיִּם֙ So the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim הֵכִ֣ינוּ made preparations hê·ḵî·nū לָהֶ֔ם for themselves lā·hem וְלַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים and for the priests , wə·lak·kō·hă·nîm בְּנֵ֥י the descendants bə·nê אַהֲרֹֽן׃ of Aaron . ’a·hă·rōn 2 Chronicles 35:15 וְהַמְשֹֽׁרֲרִ֨ים The singers , wə·ham·šō·ră·rîm בְּנֵי־ the descendants bə·nê- אָסָ֜ף of Asaph , ’ā·sāp̄ עַל־ were at ‘al- מַעֲמָדָ֗ם their stations ma·‘ă·mā·ḏām כְּמִצְוַ֤ת according to the command kə·miṣ·waṯ דָּוִיד֙ of David , dā·wîḏ וְאָסָ֞ף Asaph , wə·’ā·sāp̄ וְהֵימָ֤ן Heman , wə·hê·mān וִֽידֻתוּן֙ and Jeduthun wî·ḏu·ṯūn הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king’s ham·me·leḵ חוֹזֵ֣ה seer . ḥō·w·zêh וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֖ים And the gatekeepers wə·haš·šō·‘ă·rîm לְשַׁ֣עַר at each gate lə·ša·‘ar וָשָׁ֑עַר . . . wå̄·šå̄·ʿar אֵ֣ין did not ’ên לָהֶ֗ם lā·hem לָסוּר֙ need to leave lā·sūr מֵעַ֣ל . . . mê·‘al עֲבֹֽדָתָ֔ם their position , ‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯām כִּֽי־ because kî- אֲחֵיהֶ֥ם their fellow ’ă·ḥê·hem הַלְוִיִּ֖ם Levites hal·wî·yim הֵכִ֥ינוּ made preparations hê·ḵî·nū לָהֶֽם׃ for them . lā·hem 2 Chronicles 35:16 הַהוּא֙ So on that ha·hū בַּיּ֤וֹם day bay·yō·wm כָּל־ the entire kāl- עֲבוֹדַ֨ת service ‘ă·ḇō·w·ḏaṯ יְהוָ֜ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַ֠תִּכּוֹן was carried out wat·tik·kō·wn לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת for celebrating la·‘ă·śō·wṯ הַפֶּ֔סַח the Passover hap·pe·saḥ וְהַעֲל֣וֹת and offering wə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ עֹל֔וֹת burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·wṯ עַ֖ל on ‘al מִזְבַּ֣ח the altar miz·baḥ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כְּמִצְוַ֖ת according to the command kə·miṣ·waṯ הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ of King ham·me·leḵ יֹאשִׁיָּֽהוּ׃ Josiah . yō·šî·yā·hū 2 Chronicles 35:17 בְנֵֽי־ The Israelites ḇə·nê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl הַֽנִּמְצְאִ֛ים who were present han·nim·ṣə·’îm אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
