וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב rested way·yiš·kaḇ עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֔יו his fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻ֖הוּ and was buried way·yiq·bə·ru·hū בֵּית֑וֹ at his palace . bê·ṯōw בְּנ֖וֹ And his son bə·nōw אָמ֥וֹן Amon ’ā·mō·wn וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃פ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Chronicles 33:21 אָמ֣וֹן Amon ’ā·mō·wn עֶשְׂרִ֧ים was twenty-two ‘eś·rîm וּשְׁתַּ֛יִם . . . ū·šə·ta·yim בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָ֖ה . . . šā·nāh בְּמָלְכ֑וֹ when he became king , bə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וּשְׁתַּ֣יִם two ū·šə·ta·yim שָׁנִ֔ים years . šā·nîm 2 Chronicles 33:22 וַיַּ֤עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הָרַע֙ evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר as ka·’ă·šer אָבִ֑יו his father ’ā·ḇîw מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh עָשָׂ֖ה had done . ‘ā·śāh אָמ֖וֹן Amon ’ā·mō·wn וַיַּֽעַבְדֵֽם׃ served way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏêm זִבַּ֥ח and sacrificed zib·baḥ וּֽלְכָל־ to all ū·lə·ḵāl- הַפְּסִילִ֗ים the idols hap·pə·sî·lîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer אָבִ֔יו his father ’ā·ḇîw מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh עָשָׂה֙ had made , ‘ā·śāh 2 Chronicles 33:23 וְלֹ֤א but he did not wə·lō נִכְנַע֙ humble himself niḵ·na‘ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י before mil·lip̄·nê יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָבִ֑יו as his father ’ā·ḇîw מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh כְּהִכָּנַ֖ע [had done] ; kə·hik·kā·na‘ כִּ֛י instead , kî ה֥וּא . . . hū אָמ֖וֹן Amon ’ā·mō·wn הִרְבָּ֥ה increased hir·bāh אַשְׁמָֽה׃ his guilt . ’aš·māh 2 Chronicles 33:24 עֲבָדָ֔יו Then the servants [of Amon] ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַיִּקְשְׁר֤וּ conspired way·yiq·šə·rū עָלָיו֙ against him ‘ā·lāw וַיְמִיתֻ֖הוּ and killed him way·mî·ṯu·hū בְּבֵיתֽוֹ׃ in his palace . bə·ḇê·ṯōw 2 Chronicles 33:25 עַם־ But the people ‘am- הָאָ֔רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ אֵ֥ת ’êṯ וַיַּכּוּ֙ killed way·yak·kū כָּל־ all [those] kāl- הַקֹּֽשְׁרִ֖ים who had conspired haq·qō·šə·rîm עַל־ against ‘al- הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ אָמ֑וֹן Amon , ’ā·mō·wn בְנ֖וֹ and they made his son ḇə·nōw יֹאשִׁיָּ֥הוּ Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū וַיַּמְלִ֧יכוּ king way·yam·lî·ḵū עַם־ . . . ‘am- הָאָ֛רֶץ . . . hā·’ā·reṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- תַּחְתָּֽיו׃פ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Chronicles 34:1 יֹאשִׁיָּ֣הוּ Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū שְׁמוֹנֶ֥ה was eight šə·mō·w·neh בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנִ֖ים . . . šā·nîm בְמָלְכ֑וֹ when he became king , ḇə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים thirty-one ū·šə·lō·šîm וְאַחַת֙ . . . wə·’a·ḥaṯ שָׁנָ֔ה years . šā·nāh
