אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנִּדָּ֖ה every impurity . han·nid·dāh 2 Chronicles 29:6 כִּֽי־ For kî- אֲבֹתֵ֗ינוּ our fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·nū מָעֲל֣וּ were unfaithful mā·‘ă·lū וְעָשׂ֥וּ and did wə·‘ā·śū הָרַ֛ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֥י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָֽה־ of YHWH Yah·weh- אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū וַיַּֽעַזְבֻ֑הוּ They abandoned Him , way·ya·‘az·ḇu·hū פְנֵיהֶ֛ם turned their faces p̄ə·nê·hem וַיַּסֵּ֧בּוּ away way·yas·sêb·bū מִמִּשְׁכַּ֥ן from the dwelling place mim·miš·kan יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh וַיִּתְּנוּ־ and turned way·yit·tə·nū- עֹֽרֶף׃ their backs on Him . ‘ō·rep̄ 2 Chronicles 29:7 גַּ֣ם They also gam סָֽגְר֞וּ shut sā·ḡə·rū דַּלְת֣וֹת the doors dal·ṯō·wṯ הָאוּלָ֗ם of the portico hā·’ū·lām וַיְכַבּוּ֙ and extinguished way·ḵab·bū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנֵּר֔וֹת the lamps . han·nê·rō·wṯ לֹ֣א They did not lō הִקְטִ֑ירוּ burn hiq·ṭî·rū וּקְטֹ֖רֶת incense ū·qə·ṭō·reṯ לֹא־ [or] lō- הֶעֱל֣וּ present he·‘ĕ·lū וְעֹלָה֙ burnt offerings wə·‘ō·lāh בַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ in the Holy Place ḇaq·qō·ḏeš לֵאלֹהֵ֖י of the God lê·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl 2 Chronicles 29:8 קֶ֣צֶף Therefore, the wrath qe·ṣep̄ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִי֙ has fallen way·hî עַל־ upon ‘al- יְהוּדָ֖ה Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וִירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם and Jerusalem , wî·rū·šā·lim וַיִּתְּנֵ֤ם and He has made them way·yit·tə·nêm לִזְוָעָה an object of terror , liz·wå̄·ʿå̄h לְשַׁמָּ֣ה horror , lə·šam·māh וְלִשְׁרֵקָ֔ה and mockery , wə·liš·rê·qāh כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer אַתֶּ֥ם you ’at·tem רֹאִ֖ים can see rō·’îm בְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ with your own eyes . bə·‘ê·nê·ḵem 2 Chronicles 29:9 וְהִנֵּ֛ה For behold , wə·hin·nêh זֹֽאת׃ this zōṯ עַל־ is why ‘al- אֲבוֹתֵ֖ינוּ our fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·nū נָפְל֥וּ have fallen nā·p̄ə·lū בֶּחָ֑רֶב by the sword , be·ḥā·reḇ וּבָנֵ֨ינוּ and our sons ū·ḇā·nê·nū וּבְנוֹתֵ֧ינוּ and daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯê·nū וְנָשֵׁ֛ינוּ and wives wə·nā·šê·nū בַּשְּׁבִ֖י are in captivity . baš·šə·ḇî 2 Chronicles 29:10 עַתָּה֙ Now ‘at·tāh עִם־ it is in ‘im- לְבָבִ֔י my heart lə·ḇā·ḇî לִכְר֣וֹת to make liḵ·rō·wṯ בְּרִ֔ית a covenant bə·rîṯ לַיהוָ֖ה with YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl חֲר֥וֹן so that His fierce anger ḥă·rō·wn אַפּֽוֹ׃ . . . ’ap·pōw וְיָשֹׁ֥ב will turn away wə·yā·šōḇ מִמֶּ֖נּוּ from us . mim·men·nū 2 Chronicles 29:11 עַתָּ֖ה Now , ‘at·tāh בָּנַ֕י my sons , bā·nay אַל־ do not ’al- תִּשָּׁל֑וּ be negligent , tiš·šā·lū כִּֽי־ for kî- יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh בָּחַ֣ר has chosen bā·ḥar בָכֶ֞ם you ḇā·ḵem לַעֲמֹ֤ד to stand la·‘ă·mōḏ לְפָנָיו֙ before Him , lə·p̄ā·nāw לְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ to serve Him , lə·šā·rə·ṯōw וְלִהְי֥וֹת to wə·lih·yō·wṯ מְשָׁרְתִ֥ים minister mə·šā·rə·ṯîm
