יוֹצְאֵ֣י those going off duty yō·wṣ·’ê הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת - — haš·šab·bāṯ כִּ֣י for kî יְהוֹיָדָ֥ע Jehoiada yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ הַכֹּהֵ֖ן the priest hak·kō·hên אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לֹ֥א had not lō פָטַ֛ר released [any of] p̄ā·ṭar הַֽמַּחְלְקֽוֹת׃ the divisions . ham·maḥ·lə·qō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 23:9 יְהוֹיָדָ֨ע Then Jehoiada yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ הַכֹּהֵ֜ן the priest hak·kō·hên וַיִּתֵּן֩ gave way·yit·tên לְשָׂרֵ֣י to the commanders lə·śā·rê הַמֵּא֗וֹת of hundreds ham·mê·’ō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַֽחֲנִיתִים֙ the spears ha·ḥă·nî·ṯîm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַמָּגִנּוֹת֙ and the large ham·mā·ḡin·nō·wṯ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַשְּׁלָטִ֔ים small shields haš·šə·lā·ṭîm אֲשֶׁ֖ר ’ă·šer לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ of King lam·me·leḵ דָּוִ֑יד David dā·wîḏ אֲשֶׁ֖ר that ’ă·šer בֵּ֥ית were in the house bêṯ הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm 2 Chronicles 23:10 וַיַּעֲמֵ֨ד He stationed way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הָעָ֜ם the troops hā·‘ām וְאִ֣ישׁ׀ . . . , wə·’îš שִׁלְח֣וֹ with their weapons šil·ḥōw בְיָד֗וֹ in hand , ḇə·yā·ḏōw סָבִֽיב׃ surrounding sā·ḇîḇ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ לַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ by the altar lam·miz·bê·aḥ וְלַבָּ֑יִת and the temple , wə·lab·bā·yiṯ עַל־ . . . ‘al- הַיְמָנִית֙ from the south hay·mā·nîṯ מִכֶּ֨תֶף side mik·ke·ṯep̄ הַבַּ֤יִת - hab·ba·yiṯ עַד־ to ‘aḏ- הַשְּׂמָאלִ֔ית the north haś·śə·mā·lîṯ כֶּ֤תֶף side ke·ṯep̄ הַבַּ֙יִת֙ of the temple . hab·ba·yiṯ 2 Chronicles 23:11 וַיּוֹצִ֣יאוּ Then [Jehoiada and his sons] brought out way·yō·w·ṣî·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ the king’s ham·me·leḵ בֶּן־ son , ben- וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ put way·yit·tə·nū הַנֵּ֙זֶר֙ the crown han·nê·zer וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- עָלָיו֙ on him , ‘ā·lāw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָ֣עֵד֔וּת presented him with the Testimony , hā·‘ê·ḏūṯ וַיַּמְלִ֖יכוּ and proclaimed him king . way·yam·lî·ḵū אֹת֑וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw יְהוֹיָדָ֣ע [They] yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ וּבָנָ֔יו . . . ū·ḇā·nāw וַיִּמְשָׁחֻ֙הוּ֙ anointed him way·yim·šā·ḥu·hū וַיֹּאמְר֖וּ and shouted , way·yō·mə·rū יְחִ֥י “ Long live yə·ḥî הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ס the king !” ham·me·leḵ 2 Chronicles 23:12 עֲתַלְיָ֗הוּ When Athaliah ‘ă·ṯal·yā·hū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַתִּשְׁמַ֣ע heard wat·tiš·ma‘ ק֤וֹל the noise qō·wl הָעָם֙ of the people hā·‘ām הָֽרָצִ֔ים running hā·rā·ṣîm וְהַֽמְהַֽלְלִ֖ים and cheering wə·ham·hal·lîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the king , ham·me·leḵ וַתָּב֥וֹא she went out wat·tā·ḇō·w אֶל־ to ’el- הָעָ֖ם [them] hā·‘ām בֵּ֥ית in the house bêṯ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH .
