2 Chronicles 23:18 יְהוֹיָדָ֨ע Moreover , Jehoiada yə·hō·w·yā·ḏā‘ וַיָּשֶׂם֩ put way·yā·śem פְּקֻדֹּ֜ת the oversight pə·qud·dōṯ בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH Yah·weh בְּיַ֨ד into the hands bə·yaḏ הַלְוִיִּם֮ of the Levitical hal·wî·yim הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר whom ’ă·šer דָּוִיד֮ David dā·wîḏ חָלַ֣ק had appointed ḥā·laq עַל־ over ‘al- בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יְהוָה֒ of YHWH , Yah·weh לְֽהַעֲל֞וֹת to offer lə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ עֹל֣וֹת burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·wṯ יְהוָ֗ה to YHWH Yah·weh כַּכָּת֛וּב as is written kak·kā·ṯūḇ בְּתוֹרַ֥ת in the Law bə·ṯō·w·raṯ מֹשֶׁ֖ה of Moses , mō·šeh בְּשִׂמְחָ֣ה with rejoicing bə·śim·ḥāh וּבְשִׁ֑יר and song , ū·ḇə·šîr עַ֖ל . . . ‘al יְדֵ֥י as ordained yə·ḏê דָוִֽיד׃ by David . ḏā·wîḏ 2 Chronicles 23:19 וַֽיַּעֲמֵד֙ He stationed way·ya·‘ă·mêḏ הַשּׁ֣וֹעֲרִ֔ים gatekeepers haš·šō·w·‘ă·rîm עַֽל־ at ‘al- שַׁעֲרֵ֖י the gates ša·‘ă·rê בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹֽא־ so that nothing wə·lō- טָמֵ֖א unclean ṭā·mê יָבֹ֥א could enter yā·ḇō לְכָל־ for any lə·ḵāl דָּבָֽר׃ reason . dā·ḇār 2 Chronicles 23:20 וַיִּקַּ֣ח He also took with him way·yiq·qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שָׂרֵ֣י the commanders śā·rê הַמֵּא֡וֹת of hundreds , ham·mê·’ō·wṯ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָֽאַדִּירִים֩ the nobles , hā·’ad·dî·rîm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַמּֽוֹשְׁלִ֨ים the rulers ham·mō·wō·šə·lîm בָּעָ֜ם of the people , bā·‘ām וְאֵ֣ת׀ - wə·’êṯ כָּל־ and all kāl- עַ֣ם the people ‘am הָאָ֗רֶץ of the land , hā·’ā·reṣ הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ and they brought the king ham·me·leḵ וַיּ֤וֹרֶד down way·yō·w·reḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִבֵּ֣ית from the house mib·bêṯ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיָּבֹ֛אוּ and entered way·yā·ḇō·’ū הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the royal ham·me·leḵ בֵּ֣ית palace bêṯ בְּתֽוֹךְ־ through bə·ṯō·wḵ- הָֽעֶלְי֖וֹן the Upper hā·‘el·yō·wn שַׁ֥עַר Gate . ša·‘ar וַיּוֹשִׁ֙יבוּ֙ They seated way·yō·wō·šî·ḇū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ King [Joash] ham·me·leḵ עַ֖ל on ‘al הַמַּמְלָכָֽה׃ the royal ham·mam·lā·ḵāh כִּסֵּ֥א throne , kis·sê 2 Chronicles 23:21 כָל־ and all ḵāl עַם־ the people ‘am- הָאָ֖רֶץ of the land hā·’ā·reṣ וַיִּשְׂמְח֥וּ rejoiced . way·yiś·mə·ḥū וְהָעִ֣יר And the city wə·hā·‘îr שָׁקָ֑טָה was quiet , šā·qā·ṭāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- עֲתַלְיָ֖הוּ because Athaliah ‘ă·ṯal·yā·hū הֵמִ֥יתוּ had been put to hê·mî·ṯū בֶחָֽרֶב׃ס the sword . ḇe·ḥā·reḇ 2 Chronicles 24:1 יֹאָ֣שׁ Joash yō·’āš שֶׁ֤בַע was seven še·ḇa‘ בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנִים֙ . . . šā·nîm בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ when he became king , bə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים forty wə·’ar·bā·‘îm שָׁנָ֔ה years . šā·nāh
