וְשֵׁ֣ם name wə·šêm עֲתַלְיָ֖הוּ was Athaliah , ‘ă·ṯal·yā·hū בַּת־ the granddaughter baṯ- עָמְרִֽי׃ of Omri . ‘ā·mə·rî 2 Chronicles 22:3 ה֣וּא Ahaziah hū גַּם־ also gam- הָלַ֔ךְ walked hā·laḵ בְּדַרְכֵ֖י in the ways bə·ḏar·ḵê בֵּ֣ית of the house bêṯ אַחְאָ֑ב of Ahab , ’aḥ·’āḇ כִּ֥י for kî אִמּ֛וֹ his mother ’im·mōw הָיְתָ֥ה . . . hā·yə·ṯāh יֽוֹעַצְתּ֖וֹ was his counselor yō·w·‘aṣ·tōw לְהַרְשִֽׁיעַ׃ in wickedness . lə·har·šî·a‘ 2 Chronicles 22:4 וַיַּ֧עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הָרַ֛ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֥י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כְּבֵ֣ית as the house kə·ḇêṯ אַחְאָ֑ב of Ahab [had done] , ’aḥ·’āḇ כִּי־ for kî- לֽוֹ׃ to his lōw לְמַשְׁחִ֥ית destruction lə·maš·ḥîṯ הֵ֜מָּה they hêm·māh הָֽיוּ־ were hā·yū- ל֣וֹ his lōw יֽוֹעֲצִ֗ים counselors yō·w·‘ă·ṣîm אַחֲרֵ֛י after ’a·ḥă·rê מ֥וֹת the death mō·wṯ אָבִ֖יו of his father . ’ā·ḇîw 2 Chronicles 22:5 גַּ֣ם [Ahaziah] also gam הָלַךְ֒ followed hā·laḵ בַּעֲצָתָם֮ their counsel ba·‘ă·ṣā·ṯām וַיֵּלֶךְ֩ and went way·yê·leḵ אֶת־ with ’eṯ- יְהוֹרָ֨ם Joram yə·hō·w·rām בֶּן־ son ben- אַחְאָ֜ב of Ahab ’aḥ·’āḇ מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה to fight lam·mil·ḥā·māh עַל־ against ‘al- חֲזָאֵ֥ל Hazael ḥă·zā·’êl מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- אֲרָ֖ם of Aram ’ă·rām בְּרָמ֣וֹת at Ramoth-gilead . bə·rā·mō·wṯ גִּלְעָ֑ד . . . gil·‘āḏ הָֽרַמִּ֖ים But the Arameans hā·ram·mîm וַיַּכּ֥וּ wounded way·yak·kū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יוֹרָֽם׃ Joram ; yō·w·rām 2 Chronicles 22:6 וַיָּ֜שָׁב so he returned way·yā·šāḇ בְיִזְרְעֶ֗אל to Jezreel ḇə·yiz·rə·‘el לְהִתְרַפֵּ֣א to recover lə·hiṯ·rap·pê כִּ֤י from kî הַמַּכִּים֙ the wounds ham·mak·kîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הִכֻּ֣הוּ they had inflicted on him hik·ku·hū בָֽרָמָ֔ה at Ramah ḇā·rā·māh בְּהִלָּ֣חֲמ֔וֹ when he fought bə·hil·lā·ḥă·mōw אֶת־ against ’eṯ- חֲזָהאֵ֖ל Hazael ḥă·zā·h·’êl מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ אֲרָ֑ם of Aram . ’ă·rām וַעֲזַרְיָ֨הוּ Then Ahaziah wa·‘ă·zar·yā·hū בֶן־ son ḇen- יְהוֹרָ֜ם of Jehoram yə·hō·w·rām מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָ֗ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh יָרַ֡ד went down yā·raḏ בְּיִזְרְעֶ֖אל to Jezreel bə·yiz·rə·‘el לִרְא֞וֹת to visit lir·’ō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוֹרָ֧ם Joram yə·hō·w·rām בֶּן־ son ben- אַחְאָ֛ב of Ahab , ’aḥ·’āḇ כִּי־ because kî- הֽוּא׃ [Joram] hū חֹלֶ֥ה had been wounded . ḥō·leh 2 Chronicles 22:7 אֲחַזְיָ֔הוּ Ahaziah’s ’ă·ḥaz·yā·hū תְּבוּסַ֣ת downfall tə·ḇū·saṯ הָיְתָה֙ came hā·yə·ṯāh וּמֵֽאֱלֹהִ֗ים from God ū·mê·’ĕ·lō·hîm לָב֖וֹא when he went lā·ḇō·w
