לִדְר֕וֹשׁ to seek liḏ·rō·wōš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם of their fathers , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem בְּכָל־ with all bə·ḵāl לְבָבָ֖ם their heart lə·ḇā·ḇām וּבְכָל־ and ū·ḇə·ḵāl נַפְשָֽׁם׃ soul . nap̄·šām 2 Chronicles 15:13 וְכֹ֨ל And wə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֧ר whoever ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ would not lō- יִדְרֹ֛שׁ seek yiḏ·rōš לַיהוָ֥ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵֽי־ the God ’ĕ·lō·hê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl יוּמָ֑ת would be put to death , yū·māṯ לְמִן־ whether lə·min- קָטֹן֙ young qā·ṭōn וְעַד־ or wə·‘aḏ- גָּד֔וֹל old , gā·ḏō·wl לְמֵאִ֖ישׁ man lə·mê·’îš וְעַד־ or wə·‘aḏ- אִשָּֽׁה׃ woman . ’iš·šāh 2 Chronicles 15:14 וַיִּשָּֽׁבְעוּ֙ They took an oath way·yiš·šā·ḇə·‘ū לַיהוָ֔ה to YHWH Yah·weh גָּד֖וֹל with a loud gā·ḏō·wl בְּק֥וֹל voice , bə·qō·wl וּבִתְרוּעָ֑ה with shouting , ū·ḇiṯ·rū·‘āh וּבַחֲצֹצְר֖וֹת trumpets , ū·ḇa·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ וּבְשׁוֹפָרֽוֹת׃ and rams’ horns . ū·ḇə·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 15:15 כָל־ And all ḵāl יְהוּדָ֜ה Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וַיִּשְׂמְח֨וּ rejoiced way·yiś·mə·ḥū עַל־ over ‘al- הַשְּׁבוּעָ֗ה the oath , haš·šə·ḇū·‘āh כִּ֤י for kî נִשְׁבָּ֔עוּ they had sworn niš·bā·‘ū בְכָל־ it with all ḇə·ḵāl- לְבָבָם֙ their heart . lə·ḇā·ḇām בִּקְשֻׁ֔הוּ They had sought Him biq·šu·hū וּבְכָל־ earnestly ū·ḇə·ḵāl רְצוֹנָ֣ם . . . , rə·ṣō·w·nām וַיִּמָּצֵ֖א and He was found way·yim·mā·ṣê לָהֶ֑ם by them . lā·hem יְהוָ֛ה So YHWH Yah·weh לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem וַיָּ֧נַח gave them rest way·yā·naḥ מִסָּבִֽיב׃ on every side . mis·sā·ḇîḇ 2 Chronicles 15:16 הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ אָסָ֣א Asa ’ā·sā וְגַֽם־ also wə·ḡam- הֱסִירָהּ֙ removed hĕ·sî·rāh אֵ֣ם׀ his grandmother ’êm מַעֲכָ֞ה Maacah ma·‘ă·ḵāh מִגְּבִירָ֔ה from [her position as] queen mother mig·gə·ḇî·rāh אֲשֶׁר־ because ’ă·šer- עָשְׂתָ֥ה she had made ‘ā·śə·ṯāh מִפְלָ֑צֶת a detestable mip̄·lā·ṣeṯ לַאֲשֵׁרָ֖ה Asherah pole . la·’ă·šê·rāh אָסָא֙ Asa ’ā·sā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת chopped down way·yiḵ·rōṯ מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ the pole , mip̄·laṣ·tāh וַיָּ֕דֶק crushed it , way·yā·ḏeq וַיִּשְׂרֹ֖ף and burned way·yiś·rōp̄ קִדְרֽוֹן׃ it in the Kidron qiḏ·rō·wn בְּנַ֥חַל Valley . bə·na·ḥal 2 Chronicles 15:17 וְהַ֨בָּמ֔וֹת The high places wə·hab·bā·mō·wṯ לֹא־ were not lō- סָ֖רוּ removed sā·rū מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל from Israel , mî·yiś·rā·’êl רַ֧ק but raq אָסָ֛א Asa’s ’ā·sā לְבַב־ heart lə·ḇaḇ- הָיָ֥ה was hā·yāh שָׁלֵ֖ם fully devoted šā·lêm כָּל־ all kāl- יָמָֽיו׃ his days . yā·māw 2 Chronicles 15:18 וַיָּבֵ֞א And he brought way·yā·ḇê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֣ית into the house bêṯ
