צָרָֽה׃ adversity . ṣā·rāh 2 Chronicles 15:7 וְאַתֶּ֣ם But as for you , wə·’at·tem חִזְק֔וּ be strong ; ḥiz·qū וְאַל־ do not wə·’al- יִרְפּ֖וּ be discouraged yir·pū יְדֵיכֶ֑ם . . . , yə·ḏê·ḵem כִּ֛י for kî לִפְעֻלַּתְכֶֽם׃ס your work lip̄·‘ul·laṯ·ḵem יֵ֥שׁ will be yêš שָׂכָ֖ר rewarded .” śā·ḵār 2 Chronicles 15:8 אָסָ֜א When Asa ’ā·sā וְכִשְׁמֹ֨עַ heard wə·ḵiš·mō·a‘ הָאֵ֗לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֣ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm וְהַנְּבוּאָה֮ and the prophecy wə·han·nə·ḇū·’āh עֹדֵ֣ד of [Azariah son of] Oded ‘ō·ḏêḏ הַנָּבִיא֒ the prophet , han·nā·ḇî הִתְחַזַּ֗ק he took courage hiṯ·ḥaz·zaq וַיַּעֲבֵ֤ר and removed way·ya·‘ă·ḇêr הַשִּׁקּוּצִים֙ the detestable idols haš·šiq·qū·ṣîm וּמִן־ from ū·min- מִכָּל־ the whole mik·kāl אֶ֤רֶץ land ’e·reṣ יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן and Benjamin ū·ḇin·yā·min הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים and from the cities he·‘ā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר ’ă·šer לָכַ֖ד he had captured lā·ḵaḏ מֵהַ֣ר in the hill country mê·har אֶפְרָ֑יִם of Ephraim . ’ep̄·rā·yim וַיְחַדֵּשׁ֙ He then restored way·ḥad·dêš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מִזְבַּ֣ח the altar miz·baḥ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֕ר that ’ă·šer לִפְנֵ֖י was in front lip̄·nê אוּלָ֥ם of the portico ’ū·lām יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH’s {temple} . Yah·weh 2 Chronicles 15:9 וַיִּקְבֹּ֗ץ And he assembled way·yiq·bōṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- יְהוּדָה֙ Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן and Benjamin , ū·ḇin·yā·min מֵאֶפְרַ֥יִם along with those from the tribes of Ephraim , mê·’ep̄·ra·yim וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה Manasseh , ū·mə·naš·šeh וּמִשִּׁמְע֑וֹן and Simeon ū·miš·šim·‘ō·wn וְהַגָּרִים֙ who had settled wə·hag·gā·rîm עִמָּהֶ֔ם among them , ‘im·mā·hem כִּֽי־ for kî- לָרֹ֔ב great numbers lā·rōḇ נָפְל֨וּ had come over nā·p̄ə·lū עָלָ֤יו to him ‘ā·lāw מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל֙ from Israel mî·yiś·rā·’êl בִּרְאֹתָ֕ם when they saw bir·’ō·ṯām כִּֽי־ that kî- יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֖יו his God ’ĕ·lō·hāw עִמּֽוֹ׃פ was with him . ‘im·mōw 2 Chronicles 15:10 וַיִּקָּבְצ֥וּ So they gathered together way·yiq·qā·ḇə·ṣū יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם in Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י in the third haš·šə·lî·šî בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ month ba·ḥō·ḏeš חֲמֵשׁ־ of the fifteenth ḥă·mêš- עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה . . . ‘eś·rêh לִשְׁנַ֥ת year liš·naṯ אָסָֽא׃ of Asa’s ’ā·sā לְמַלְכ֥וּת reign . lə·mal·ḵūṯ 2 Chronicles 15:11 הַה֔וּא At that ha·hū בַּיּ֣וֹם time bay·yō·wm וַיִּזְבְּח֤וּ they sacrificed way·yiz·bə·ḥū לַיהוָה֙ to YHWH Yah·weh שְׁבַ֣ע seven šə·ḇa‘ מֵא֔וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ בָּקָר֙ oxen bā·qār שִׁבְעַ֥ת and seven šiḇ·‘aṯ אֲלָפִֽים׃ thousand ’ă·lā·p̄îm וְצֹ֖אן sheep wə·ṣōn מִן־ from min- הַשָּׁלָ֖ל all the plunder haš·šā·lāl הֵבִ֑יאוּ they had brought back . hê·ḇî·’ū 2 Chronicles 15:12 וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ Then they entered way·yā·ḇō·’ū בַבְּרִ֔ית into a covenant ḇab·bə·rîṯ
