לְמָרֵשָֽׁה׃ near Mareshah . lə·mā·rê·šāh 2 Chronicles 14:11 אָסָ֜א Then Asa ’ā·sā וַיִּקְרָ֨א cried out way·yiq·rā אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָיו֮ his God ’ĕ·lō·hāw וַיֹּאמַר֒ . . . : way·yō·mar יְהוָ֗ה “ O YHWH , Yah·weh אֵֽין־ there is no one ’ên- עִמְּךָ֤ besides You ‘im·mə·ḵā לַעְזוֹר֙ to help la‘·zō·wr בֵּ֥ין . . . bên לְאֵ֣ין the powerless lə·’ên כֹּ֔חַ . . . kō·aḥ רַב֙ against the mighty . raḇ עָזְרֵ֜נוּ Help us , ‘ā·zə·rê·nū יְהוָ֤ה O YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū כִּֽי־ for kî- נִשְׁעַ֔נּוּ we rely niš·‘an·nū עָלֶ֣יךָ on You , ‘ā·le·ḵā וּבְשִׁמְךָ֣ and in Your name ū·ḇə·šim·ḵā בָ֔אנוּ we have come ḇā·nū עַל־ against ‘al- הַזֶּ֑ה this haz·zeh הֶהָמ֖וֹן multitude . he·hā·mō·wn יְהוָ֤ה O YHWH , Yah·weh אַ֔תָּה You ’at·tāh אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ are our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū אַל־ Do not ’al- אֱנֽוֹשׁ׃ס let a mere mortal ’ĕ·nō·wōš יַעְצֹ֥ר prevail ya‘·ṣōr עִמְּךָ֖ against You .” ‘im·mə·ḵā 2 Chronicles 14:12 יְהוָה֙ So YHWH Yah·weh וַיִּגֹּ֤ף struck down way·yig·gōp̄ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַכּוּשִׁ֔ים the Cushites hak·kū·šîm לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê אָסָ֖א Asa ’ā·sā וְלִפְנֵ֣י and wə·lip̄·nê יְהוּדָ֑ה Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh הַכּוּשִֽׁים׃ and the Cushites hak·kū·šîm וַיָּנֻ֖סוּ fled . way·yā·nu·sū 2 Chronicles 14:13 אָסָ֜א Then Asa ’ā·sā וְהָעָ֣ם and his army wə·hā·‘ām אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- עִמּוֹ֮ - ‘im·mōw וַיִּרְדְּפֵ֨ם pursued them way·yir·də·p̄êm עַד־ as far as ‘aḏ- לִגְרָר֒ Gerar . liḡ·rār מִכּוּשִׁים֙ The Cushites mik·kū·šîm וַיִּפֹּ֤ל fell way·yip·pōl לְאֵ֣ין and could not lə·’ên לָהֶ֣ם . . . lā·hem מִֽחְיָ֔ה recover , miḥ·yāh כִּֽי־ for kî- נִשְׁבְּר֥וּ they were crushed niš·bə·rū לִפְנֵֽי־ before lip̄·nê- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh וְלִפְנֵ֣י . . . wə·lip̄·nê מַחֲנֵ֑הוּ and His army . ma·ḥă·nê·hū וַיִּשְׂא֥וּ So the people of Judah carried off way·yiś·’ū הַרְבֵּ֥ה a great amount of har·bêh מְאֹֽד׃ . . . mə·’ōḏ שָׁלָ֖ל plunder šā·lāl 2 Chronicles 14:14 וַיַּכּ֗וּ and attacked way·yak·kū אֵ֤ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- הֶֽעָרִים֙ the cities he·‘ā·rîm סְבִיב֣וֹת around sə·ḇî·ḇō·wṯ גְּרָ֔ר Gerar , gə·rār כִּי־ because kî- פַֽחַד־ the terror p̄a·ḥaḏ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh הָיָ֥ה had fallen hā·yāh עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם upon them . ‘ă·lê·hem וַיָּבֹ֙זּוּ֙ They plundered way·yā·ḇōz·zū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים the cities , he·‘ā·rîm כִּֽי־ since kî- הָיְתָ֥ה there was hā·yə·ṯāh רַבָּ֖ה much rab·bāh בִזָּ֥ה plunder ḇiz·zāh בָהֶֽם׃ there . ḇā·hem
