כֹהֵ֖ן a priest ḵō·hên לְלֹ֥א of [things that are] not lə·lō אֱלֹהִֽים׃ס gods . ’ĕ·lō·hîm 2 Chronicles 13:10 וַאֲנַ֛חְנוּ But as for us , wa·’ă·naḥ·nū יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ is our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū וְלֹ֣א We have not wə·lō עֲזַבְנֻ֑הוּ forsaken Him ; ‘ă·zaḇ·nu·hū וְכֹ֨הֲנִ֜ים the priests wə·ḵō·hă·nîm מְשָׁרְתִ֤ים who minister mə·šā·rə·ṯîm לַֽיהוָה֙ to YHWH Yah·weh בְּנֵ֣י [are] sons bə·nê אַהֲרֹ֔ן of Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם and the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim בַּמְלָֽאכֶת׃ [attend] to [their] duties . bam·lā·ḵeṯ 2 Chronicles 13:11 בַּבֹּֽקֶר־ Every morning bab·bō·qer- בַּבֹּ֣קֶר . . . bab·bō·qer וּבָעֶֽרֶב־ and every evening ū·ḇā·‘e·reḇ- בָּעֶ֣רֶב . . . bā·‘e·reḇ וּמַקְטִרִ֣ים they present ū·maq·ṭi·rîm עֹל֣וֹת burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·wṯ סַמִּים֩ and fragrant sam·mîm וּקְטֹֽרֶת־ incense ū·qə·ṭō·reṯ- לַיהוָ֡ה to YHWH . Yah·weh וּמַעֲרֶ֨כֶת They set out the rows ū·ma·‘ă·re·ḵeṯ לֶ֜חֶם of showbread le·ḥem עַל־ on ‘al- הַטָּה֗וֹר the ceremonially clean haṭ·ṭā·hō·wr הַשֻּׁלְחָ֣ן table , haš·šul·ḥān בָּעֶ֣רֶב and every evening bā·‘e·reḇ בָּעֶ֔רֶב . . . bā·‘e·reḇ לְבָעֵר֙ they light lə·ḇā·‘êr וְנֵרֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ the lamps wə·nê·rō·ṯe·hā הַזָּהָ֤ב of the gold haz·zā·hāḇ וּמְנוֹרַ֨ת lampstand . ū·mə·nō·w·raṯ כִּֽי־ - kî- אֲנַ֔חְנוּ We ’ă·naḥ·nū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שֹׁמְרִ֣ים are carrying out šō·mə·rîm מִשְׁמֶ֖רֶת the requirements miš·me·reṯ יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū וְאַתֶּ֖ם while you wə·’at·tem עֲזַבְתֶּ֥ם have forsaken ‘ă·zaḇ·tem אֹתֽוֹ׃ Him . ’ō·ṯōw 2 Chronicles 13:12 וְהִנֵּה֩ Now behold , wə·hin·nêh הָאֱלֹהִ֧ים׀ God Himself is hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm עִמָּ֨נוּ with us ‘im·mā·nū בָרֹ֜אשׁ as [our] head , ḇā·rōš וְכֹהֲנָ֛יו and His priests wə·ḵō·hă·nāw וַחֲצֹצְר֥וֹת with their trumpets wa·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ לְהָרִ֣יעַ sound lə·hā·rî·a‘ הַתְּרוּעָ֖ה the battle call hat·tə·rū·‘āh עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם against you . ‘ă·lê·ḵem בְּנֵ֣י O children bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אַל־ do not ’al- תִּלָּֽחֲמ֛וּ fight til·lā·ḥă·mū עִם־ against ‘im- יְהוָ֥ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵֽי־ the God ’ĕ·lō·hê- אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֖ם of your fathers , ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem כִּי־ for kî- לֹ֥א you will not lō תַצְלִֽיחוּ׃ succeed .” ṯaṣ·lî·ḥū 2 Chronicles 13:13 וְיָֽרָבְעָ֗ם Now Jeroboam wə·yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām לָב֖וֹא had sent [troops] lā·ḇō·w הֵסֵב֙ around hê·sêḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמַּאְרָ֔ב to ambush ham·ma’·rāḇ מֵֽאַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם from the rear , mê·’a·ḥă·rê·hem וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙ so that while he was way·yih·yū לִפְנֵ֣י in front lip̄·nê יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh וְהַמַּאְרָ֖ב the ambush wə·ham·ma’·rāḇ מֵאַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ was behind them . mê·’a·ḥă·rê·hem 2 Chronicles 13:14 יְהוּדָ֗ה When Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וַיִּפְנ֣וּ turned way·yip̄·nū וְהִנֵּ֨ה and discovered wə·hin·nêh לָהֶ֤ם lā·hem הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ that the battle ham·mil·ḥā·māh פָּנִ֣ים [was both] before pā·nîm וְאָח֔וֹר and behind them , wə·’ā·ḥō·wr וַֽיִּצְעֲק֖וּ they cried out way·yiṣ·‘ă·qū לַיהוָ֑ה to YHWH .
