הַמַּרְאֶ֖ה . . . , ham·mar·’eh וְהַבְּרִיאֹ֑ת well-fed wə·hab·bə·rî·’ōṯ הַפָּר֔וֹת cows . hap·pā·rō·wṯ פַּרְעֹֽה׃ Then Pharaoh par·‘ōh וַיִּיקַ֖ץ woke up , way·yî·qaṣ Genesis 41:5 וַיִּישָׁ֕ן but he fell back asleep way·yî·šān וַֽיַּחֲלֹ֖ם and dreamed way·ya·ḥă·lōm שֵׁנִ֑ית a second time : šê·nîṯ וְהִנֵּ֣ה׀ . . . wə·hin·nêh שֶׁ֣בַע Seven še·ḇa‘ שִׁבֳּלִ֗ים heads of grain , šib·bo·lîm בְּרִיא֥וֹת plump bə·rî·’ō·wṯ וְטֹבֽוֹת׃ and ripe , wə·ṭō·ḇō·wṯ עֹל֛וֹת came up ‘ō·lō·wṯ אֶחָ֖ד on one ’e·ḥāḏ בְּקָנֶ֥ה stalk . bə·qā·neh Genesis 41:6 וְהִנֵּה֙ - wə·hin·nêh אַחֲרֵיהֶֽן׃ After them , ’a·ḥă·rê·hen שֶׁ֣בַע seven other še·ḇa‘ שִׁבֳּלִ֔ים heads of grain šib·bo·lîm צֹמְח֖וֹת sprouted , ṣō·mə·ḥō·wṯ דַּקּ֖וֹת thin daq·qō·wṯ וּשְׁדוּפֹ֣ת and scorched ū·šə·ḏū·p̄ōṯ קָדִ֑ים by the east wind . qā·ḏîm Genesis 41:7 הַדַּקּ֔וֹת And the thin had·daq·qō·wṯ אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ הַשִּׁבֳּלִ֣ים heads of grain haš·šib·bo·lîm וַתִּבְלַ֙עְנָה֙ swallowed up wat·tiḇ·la‘·nāh שֶׁ֣בַע the seven še·ḇa‘ הַבְּרִיא֖וֹת plump , hab·bə·rî·’ō·wṯ וְהַמְּלֵא֑וֹת ripe wə·ham·mə·lê·’ō·wṯ הַֽשִּׁבֳּלִ֔ים ones . haš·šib·bo·lîm פַּרְעֹ֖ה Then Pharaoh par·‘ōh וַיִּיקַ֥ץ awoke way·yî·qaṣ וְהִנֵּ֥ה and realized wə·hin·nêh חֲלֽוֹם׃ it was a dream . ḥă·lō·wm Genesis 41:8 בַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ In the morning ḇab·bō·qer וַיְהִ֤י . . . way·hî רוּח֔וֹ his spirit rū·ḥōw וַתִּפָּ֣עֶם was troubled , wat·tip·pā·‘em וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח so he summoned way·yiš·laḥ וַיִּקְרָ֛א . . . way·yiq·rā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- חַרְטֻמֵּ֥י the magicians ḥar·ṭum·mê כָּל־ and kāl- חֲכָמֶ֑יהָ wise men ḥă·ḵā·me·hā מִצְרַ֖יִם of Egypt . miṣ·ra·yim וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- פַּרְעֹ֤ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh וַיְסַפֵּ֨ר told way·sap·pêr לָהֶם֙ them lā·hem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חֲלֹמ֔וֹ his dreams , ḥă·lō·mōw וְאֵין־ but no one wə·’ên- פּוֹתֵ֥ר could interpret pō·w·ṯêr אוֹתָ֖ם them ’ō·w·ṯām לְפַרְעֹֽה׃ for him . lə·p̄ar·‘ōh Genesis 41:9 שַׂ֣ר Then the chief śar הַמַּשְׁקִ֔ים cupbearer ham·maš·qîm וַיְדַבֵּר֙ said way·ḏab·bêr אֶת־ to ’eṯ- פַּרְעֹ֖ה Pharaoh , par·‘ōh לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . lê·mōr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַיּֽוֹם׃ “ Today hay·yō·wm אֲנִ֖י I ’ă·nî מַזְכִּ֥יר recall maz·kîr חֲטָאַ֕י my failures . ḥă·ṭā·’ay Genesis 41:10 פַּרְעֹ֖ה Pharaoh par·‘ōh קָצַ֣ף was once angry qā·ṣap̄ עַל־ with ‘al- עֲבָדָ֑יו his servants , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַיִּתֵּ֨ן and he put way·yit·tên אֹתִ֜י - ’ō·ṯî אֹתִ֕י me ’ō·ṯî וְאֵ֖ת and wə·’êṯ שַׂ֣ר the chief śar הָאֹפִֽים׃ baker hā·’ō·p̄îm בְּמִשְׁמַ֗ר in the custody bə·miš·mar בֵּ֚ית . . . bêṯ שַׂ֥ר of the captain śar
