בָּ֑יִת a house bā·yiṯ ל֖וֹ for him . lōw עַל־ . . . ‘al- כֵּן֙ Therefore kên עַבְדְּךָ֔ Your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā מָצָ֣א has found the courage mā·ṣā לְהִתְפַּלֵּ֖ל to pray lə·hiṯ·pal·lêl לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃ before You . lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā 1 Chronicles 17:26 וְעַתָּ֣ה And now , wə·‘at·tāh יְהוָ֔ה O YHWH , Yah·weh אַתָּה־ You ’at·tāh- ה֖וּא are hū הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים God ! hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַתְּדַבֵּר֙ And You have promised wat·tə·ḏab·bêr הַזֹּֽאת׃ this haz·zōṯ הַטּוֹבָ֖ה goodness haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh עַֽל־ to ‘al- עַבְדְּךָ֔ Your servant . ‘aḇ·də·ḵā 1 Chronicles 17:27 וְעַתָּ֗ה So now wə·‘at·tāh הוֹאַ֙לְתָּ֙ You have been pleased hō·w·’al·tā לְבָרֵךְ֙ to bless lə·ḇā·rêḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ עַבְדְּךָ֔ of Your servant , ‘aḇ·də·ḵā לִהְי֥וֹת that it may continue lih·yō·wṯ לְעוֹלָ֖ם forever lə·‘ō·w·lām לְפָנֶ֑יךָ before You . lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā כִּֽי־ For kî- אַתָּ֤ה You , ’at·tāh יְהוָה֙ O YHWH , Yah·weh בֵּרַ֔כְתָּ have blessed it , bê·raḵ·tā וּמְבֹרָ֖ךְ and [it will be] blessed ū·mə·ḇō·rāḵ לְעוֹלָֽם׃פ forever . ” lə·‘ō·w·lām 1 Chronicles 18:1 וַיְהִי֙ Some time later way·hî אַחֲרֵי־ . . . ’a·ḥă·rê- כֵ֔ן . . . , ḵên דָּוִ֛יד David dā·wîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּ֥ךְ defeated way·yaḵ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים the Philistines , pə·liš·tîm וַיַּכְנִיעֵ֑ם subdued them , way·yaḵ·nî·‘êm וַיִּקַּ֛ח and took way·yiq·qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- גַּ֥ת Gath gaṯ וּבְנֹתֶ֖יהָ and its villages ū·ḇə·nō·ṯe·hā מִיַּ֥ד from the hand mî·yaḏ פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ of the Philistines . pə·liš·tîm 1 Chronicles 18:2 וַיַּ֖ךְ [David] also defeated way·yaḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מוֹאָ֑ב the Moabites , mō·w·’āḇ מוֹאָב֙ and they mō·w·’āḇ וַיִּהְי֤וּ became way·yih·yū עֲבָדִ֣ים subject ‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm לְדָוִ֔יד to David lə·ḏā·wîḏ נֹשְׂאֵ֖י and brought him nō·śə·’ê מִנְחָֽה׃ tribute . min·ḥāh 1 Chronicles 18:3 חֲמָ֑תָה [As far as] Hamath , ḥă·mā·ṯāh דָּוִ֛יד David dā·wîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּ֥ךְ also defeated way·yaḵ מֶֽלֶךְ־ King me·leḵ- הֲדַדְעֶ֥זֶר Hadadezer hă·ḏaḏ·‘e·zer צוֹבָ֖ה of Zobah , ṣō·w·ḇāh בְּלֶכְתּ֕וֹ who had marched out bə·leḵ·tōw לְהַצִּ֥יב to establish lə·haṣ·ṣîḇ יָד֖וֹ his dominion yā·ḏōw פְּרָֽת׃ along the Euphrates pə·rāṯ בִּֽנְהַר־ River . bin·har- 1 Chronicles 18:4 דָּוִ֨יד David dā·wîḏ וַיִּלְכֹּד֩ captured way·yil·kōḏ מִמֶּ֜נּוּ from him mim·men·nū אֶ֣לֶף a thousand ’e·lep̄ רֶ֗כֶב chariots , re·ḵeḇ וְשִׁבְעַ֤ת seven wə·šiḇ·‘aṯ אֲלָפִים֙ thousand ’ă·lā·p̄îm פָּֽרָשִׁ֔ים charioteers , pā·rā·šîm וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים and twenty wə·‘eś·rîm אֶ֖לֶף thousand ’e·lep̄ אִ֣ישׁ vvv ’îš רַגְלִ֑י foot soldiers , raḡ·lî וַיְעַקֵּ֤ר and he hamstrung way·‘aq·qêr דָּוִיד֙ . . . dā·wîḏ
