1 Chronicles 17:14 וְהַֽעֲמַדְתִּ֛יהוּ But I will set him wə·ha·‘ă·maḏ·tî·hū בְּבֵיתִ֥י over My house bə·ḇê·ṯî וּבְמַלְכוּתִ֖י and My kingdom ū·ḇə·mal·ḵū·ṯî עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- הָעוֹלָ֑ם . . . , hā·‘ō·w·lām וְכִסְא֕וֹ and his throne wə·ḵis·’ōw יִהְיֶ֥ה will be yih·yeh נָכ֖וֹן established nā·ḵō·wn עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָֽם׃ . . . . ” ‘ō·w·lām 1 Chronicles 17:15 כֵּ֛ן So kên נָתָ֖ן Nathan nā·ṯān דִּבֶּ֥ר relayed dib·ber אֶל־ to ’el- דָּוִֽיד׃פ David dā·wîḏ כְּכֹל֙ all kə·ḵōl הָאֵ֔לֶּה [the] hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֣ים words had·də·ḇā·rîm הַזֶּ֑ה of this haz·zeh וּכְכֹ֖ל entire ū·ḵə·ḵōl הֶחָז֣וֹן vision . he·ḥā·zō·wn 1 Chronicles 17:16 הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ Then King ham·me·leḵ דָּוִ֔יד David dā·wîḏ וַיָּבֹא֙ went in , way·yā·ḇō וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב sat way·yê·šeḇ לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh וַיֹּ֗אמֶר and said , way·yō·mer מִֽי־ “ Who mî- אֲנִ֞י am I , ’ă·nî יְהוָ֤ה O YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהִים֙ God , ’ĕ·lō·hîm וּמִ֣י and what ū·mî בֵיתִ֔י is my house , ḇê·ṯî כִּ֥י that kî הֲבִיאֹתַ֖נִי You have brought me hă·ḇî·’ō·ṯa·nî עַד־ this ‘aḏ- הֲלֹֽם׃ far ? hă·lōm 1 Chronicles 17:17 זֹ֤את And as if this zōṯ וַתִּקְטַ֨ן was a small thing wat·tiq·ṭan בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ in Your eyes , bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā אֱלֹהִ֔ים O God , ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַתְּדַבֵּ֥ר You have spoken wat·tə·ḏab·bêr עַל־ about ‘al- לְמֵרָח֑וֹק the future lə·mê·rā·ḥō·wq בֵּֽית־ of the house bêṯ- עַבְדְּךָ֖ of Your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā וּרְאִיתַ֗נִי and have regarded me ū·rə·’î·ṯa·nî הָאָדָ֛ם as a man hā·’ā·ḏām כְּת֧וֹר . . . kə·ṯō·wr הַֽמַּעֲלָ֖ה of great distinction , ham·ma·‘ă·lāh יְהוָ֥ה O YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהִֽים׃ God . ’ĕ·lō·hîm 1 Chronicles 17:18 מַה־ What mah- יּוֹסִ֨יף more yō·w·sîp̄ ע֥וֹד . . . ‘ō·wḏ דָּוִ֛יד can David dā·wîḏ אֵלֶ֖יךָ say to You ’ê·le·ḵā לְכָב֣וֹד for so honoring lə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ Your servant ? ‘aḇ·de·ḵā וְאַתָּ֖ה For You wə·’at·tāh אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- יָדָֽעְתָּ׃ know yā·ḏā·‘ə·tā עַבְדְּךָ֥ Your servant , ‘aḇ·də·ḵā 1 Chronicles 17:19 יְהוָ֕ה O YHWH . Yah·weh בַּעֲב֤וּר For the sake ba·‘ă·ḇūr עַבְדְּךָ֙ of Your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā וּֽכְלִבְּךָ֔ and according to Your own heart , ū·ḵə·lib·bə·ḵā עָשִׂ֕יתָ You have accomplished ‘ā·śî·ṯā אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ vvv kāl- הַזֹּ֑את this haz·zōṯ הַגְּדוּלָּ֖ה great thing hag·gə·ḏūl·lāh לְהֹדִ֖יעַ and revealed lə·hō·ḏî·a‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הַגְּדֻלּֽוֹת׃ Your greatness . hag·gə·ḏul·lō·wṯ 1 Chronicles 17:20 יְהוָה֙ O YHWH , Yah·weh אֵ֣ין [there is] none ’ên
