וְעָשִׂ֤יתִֽי Now I will make wə·‘ā·śî·ṯî לְךָ֙ for you lə·ḵā שֵׁ֔ם a name šêm כְּשֵׁ֥ם like kə·šêm הַגְּדוֹלִ֖ים the greatest hag·gə·ḏō·w·lîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ in the land . bā·’ā·reṣ 1 Chronicles 17:9 וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י And I will provide wə·śam·tî מָ֠קוֹם a place mā·qō·wm לְעַמִּ֨י for My people lə·‘am·mî יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl וּנְטַעְתִּ֙יהוּ֙ and will plant them ū·nə·ṭa‘·tî·hū וְשָׁכַ֣ן so that they may dwell in wə·šā·ḵan תַּחְתָּ֔יו a place of their own taḥ·tāw יִרְגַּ֖ז and be disturbed yir·gaz וְלֹ֥א no wə·lō ע֑וֹד more . ‘ō·wḏ וְלֹא־ No wə·lō- יוֹסִ֤יפוּ longer yō·w·sî·p̄ū בְנֵי־ will the sons ḇə·nê- עַוְלָה֙ of wickedness ‘aw·lāh לְבַלֹּת֔וֹ oppress them lə·ḇal·lō·ṯōw כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר as they did ka·’ă·šer בָּרִאשׁוֹנָֽה׃ at the beginning bā·ri·šō·w·nāh 1 Chronicles 17:10 וּלְמִיָּמִ֗ים and [have done] since the day ū·lə·mî·yā·mîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer צִוִּ֤יתִי I appointed ṣiw·wî·ṯî שֹֽׁפְטִים֙ judges šō·p̄ə·ṭîm עַל־ over ‘al- עַמִּ֣י My people ‘am·mî יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel . yiś·rā·’êl וְהִכְנַ֖עְתִּי And I will subdue wə·hiḵ·na‘·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- אוֹיְבֶ֑יךָ your enemies . ’ō·wy·ḇe·ḵā וָאַגִּ֣ד Moreover , I declare wā·’ag·giḏ לָ֔ךְ to you lāḵ יְהוָֽה׃ that YHWH Yah·weh יִֽבְנֶה־ will build yiḇ·neh- וּבַ֖יִת a house ū·ḇa·yiṯ לְּךָ֥ for you . lə·ḵā 1 Chronicles 17:11 וְהָיָ֗ה And wə·hā·yāh כִּֽי־ when kî- יָמֶ֙יךָ֙ your days yā·me·ḵā מָלְא֤וּ are fulfilled mā·lə·’ū לָלֶ֣כֶת and you go [to be] lā·le·ḵeṯ עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתֶ֔יךָ your fathers , ’ă·ḇō·ṯe·ḵā וַהֲקִֽימוֹתִ֤י I will raise up wa·hă·qî·mō·w·ṯî אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- זַרְעֲךָ֙ your descendant zar·‘ă·ḵā אַחֲרֶ֔יךָ after you , ’a·ḥă·re·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer יִהְיֶ֖ה - yih·yeh מִבָּנֶ֑יךָ one of your own sons , mib·bā·ne·ḵā וַהֲכִינוֹתִ֖י and I will establish wa·hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מַלְכוּתֽוֹ׃ his kingdom . mal·ḵū·ṯōw 1 Chronicles 17:12 ה֥וּא He hū יִבְנֶה־ will build yiḇ·neh- בָּ֑יִת a house bā·yiṯ לִּ֖י for Me , lî וְכֹנַנְתִּ֥י and I will establish wə·ḵō·nan·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כִּסְא֖וֹ his throne kis·’ōw עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָֽם׃ . . . . ‘ō·w·lām 1 Chronicles 17:13 אֲנִי֙ I ’ă·nî אֶֽהְיֶה־ will be ’eh·yeh- לּ֣וֹ his lōw לְאָ֔ב Father , lə·’āḇ וְה֖וּא and he wə·hū יִֽהְיֶה־ will be yih·yeh- לִּ֣י My lî לְבֵ֑ן son . lə·ḇên לֹא־ And {I will} never lō- אָסִ֣יר remove ’ā·sîr וְחַסְדִּי֙ My loving devotion wə·ḥas·dî מֵֽעִמּ֔וֹ from him mê·‘im·mōw כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר as ka·’ă·šer הֲסִיר֔וֹתִי I removed [it] hă·sî·rō·w·ṯî מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר from your predecessor mê·’ă·šer הָיָ֖ה . . . hā·yāh לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃ . . . . lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā
