וּבְשִׁירִ֤ים with songs ū·ḇə·šî·rîm וּבְכִנֹּרוֹת֙ and on harps ū·ḇə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ וּבִנְבָלִ֣ים and lyres , ū·ḇin·ḇā·lîm וּבְתֻפִּ֔ים with tambourines , ū·ḇə·ṯup·pîm וּבִמְצִלְתַּ֖יִם cymbals , ū·ḇim·ṣil·ta·yim וּבַחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃ and trumpets . ū·ḇa·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ 1 Chronicles 13:9 וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ When they came way·yā·ḇō·’ū עַד־ to ‘aḏ- גֹּ֣רֶן the threshing floor gō·ren כִּידֹ֑ן of Chidon , kî·ḏōn עֻזָּ֜א Uzzah ‘uz·zā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָד֗וֹ - yā·ḏōw וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח reached out way·yiš·laḥ לֶאֱחֹז֙ and took hold le·’ĕ·ḥōz אֶת־ of ’eṯ- הָ֣אָר֔וֹן the ark , hā·’ā·rō·wn כִּ֥י because kî הַבָּקָֽר׃ the oxen hab·bā·qār שָֽׁמְט֖וּ had stumbled . šā·mə·ṭū 1 Chronicles 13:10 אַ֤ף And the anger ’ap̄ יְהוָה֙ of YHWH Yah·weh וַיִּֽחַר־ burned way·yi·ḥar- בְּעֻזָּ֔א against Uzzah , bə·‘uz·zā וַיַּכֵּ֕הוּ and He struck him way·yak·kê·hū עַ֛ל down ‘al אֲשֶׁר־ because ’ă·šer- שָׁלַ֥ח he had put šā·laḥ יָד֖וֹ his hand yā·ḏōw עַל־ on ‘al- הָאָר֑וֹן the ark . hā·’ā·rō·wn וַיָּ֥מָת So he died way·yā·māṯ שָׁ֖ם there šām לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê אֱלֹהִֽים׃ God . ’ĕ·lō·hîm 1 Chronicles 13:11 לְדָוִ֔יד Then David lə·ḏā·wîḏ וַיִּ֣חַר became angry way·yi·ḥar כִּֽי־ because kî- יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh פָרַ֧ץ had burst forth p̄ā·raṣ פֶּ֖רֶץ . . . pe·reṣ בְּעֻזָּ֑א against Uzzah ; bə·‘uz·zā וַיִּקְרָ֞א so he named way·yiq·rā הַהוּא֙ that ha·hū לַמָּק֤וֹם place lam·mā·qō·wm פֶּ֣רֶץ vvv pe·reṣ עֻזָּ֔א Perez-uzzah , ‘uz·zā עַ֖ד as it is [called] to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day . hay·yō·wm 1 Chronicles 13:12 הַה֖וּא That ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם day bay·yō·wm דָוִיד֙ David ḏā·wîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּירָ֤א feared way·yî·rā הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm לֵאמֹ֑ר and asked , lê·mōr הֵ֚יךְ “ How hêḵ אָבִ֣יא can I ever bring ’ā·ḇî אֲר֥וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֵלַ֔י to me ’ê·lay אֵ֖ת - ? ” ’êṯ 1 Chronicles 13:13 דָּוִ֧יד So [he] dā·wîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְלֹֽא־ did not wə·lō- הֵסִ֨יר move hê·sîr הָאָר֛וֹן the ark hā·’ā·rō·wn אֵלָ֖יו with him ’ê·lāw עִ֣יר to the City ‘îr דָּוִ֑יד of David ; dā·wîḏ וַיַּטֵּ֕הוּ instead, he took way·yaṭ·ṭê·hū אֶל־ it aside ’el- אֶל־ to ’el- בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ עֹבֵֽד־ vvv ‘ō·ḇêḏ- אֱדֹ֖ם of Obed-edom ’ĕ·ḏōm הַגִּתִּֽי׃ the Gittite . hag·git·tî 1 Chronicles 13:14 אֲר֨וֹן Thus the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָאֱלֹהִ֜ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיֵּשֶׁב֩ remained way·yê·šeḇ עִם־ with ‘im-
