בָּ֣אוּ came bā·’ū חֶבְר֔וֹנָה to Hebron ḥeḇ·rō·w·nāh שָׁלֵם֙ fully šā·lêm בְּלֵבָ֤ב determined bə·lê·ḇāḇ דָּוִ֖יד to make David dā·wîḏ לְהַמְלִ֥יךְ king lə·ham·lîḵ אֶת־ ’eṯ- עַל־ over ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel . yiś·rā·’êl וְ֠גַם And wə·ḡam כָּל־ all kāl- שֵׁרִ֧ית the rest šê·rîṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of the Israelites yiś·rā·’êl אֶחָ֖ד [were] of one ’e·ḥāḏ לֵ֥ב mind lêḇ דָּוִֽיד׃ to make David dā·wîḏ לְהַמְלִ֥יךְ king . lə·ham·lîḵ אֶת־ ’eṯ- 1 Chronicles 12:39 וַיִּהְיוּ־ They spent way·yih·yū- שְׁלוֹשָׁ֔ה three šə·lō·wō·šāh יָמִ֣ים days yā·mîm שָׁ֤ם there šām אֹכְלִ֖ים eating ’ō·ḵə·lîm וְשׁוֹתִ֑ים and drinking wə·šō·w·ṯîm עִם־ with ‘im- דָּוִיד֙ David , dā·wîḏ כִּֽי־ for their kî- לָהֶ֖ם relatives lā·hem אֲחֵיהֶֽם׃ ’ă·ḥê·hem הֵכִ֥ינוּ had provided for them . hê·ḵî·nū 1 Chronicles 12:40 וְגַ֣ם And their neighbors wə·ḡam הַקְּרֽוֹבִים־ haq·qə·rō·w·ḇîm- אֲ֠לֵיהֶם from as far away as ’ă·lê·hem עַד־ ‘aḏ- יִשָׂשכָ֨ר Issachar , yi·śā·š·ḵār וּזְבֻל֜וּן Zebulun , ū·zə·ḇu·lūn וְנַפְתָּלִ֗י and Naphtali wə·nap̄·tā·lî מְבִיאִ֣ים came bringing mə·ḇî·’îm לֶ֡חֶם food le·ḥem בַּחֲמוֹרִ֣ים on donkeys , ba·ḥă·mō·w·rîm וּבַגְּמַלִּ֣ים camels , ū·ḇag·gə·mal·lîm וּבַפְּרָדִ֣ים׀ mules , ū·ḇap·pə·rā·ḏîm וּֽבַבָּקָ֡ר and oxen — ū·ḇab·bā·qār מַאֲכָ֡ל abundant supplies ma·’ă·ḵāl קֶ֠מַח of flour , qe·maḥ דְּבֵלִ֨ים fig cakes də·ḇê·lîm וְצִמּוּקִ֧ים and wə·ṣim·mū·qîm וְיַֽיִן־ raisin cakes , wə·ya·yin- וְשֶׁ֛מֶן wine wə·še·men וּבָקָ֥ר and oil , ū·ḇā·qār וְצֹ֖אן oxen wə·ṣōn לָרֹ֑ב and sheep . lā·rōḇ כִּ֥י Indeed , kî שִׂמְחָ֖ה there was joy śim·ḥāh בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃פ in Israel . bə·yiś·rā·’êl 1 Chronicles 13:1 דָּוִ֗יד Then David dā·wîḏ וַיִּוָּעַ֣ץ conferred way·yiw·wā·‘aṣ עִם־ with ‘im- לְכָל־ all lə·ḵāl נָגִֽיד׃ his leaders , nā·ḡîḏ שָׂרֵ֧י the commanders śā·rê וְהַמֵּא֖וֹת of hundreds wə·ham·mê·’ō·wṯ הָאֲלָפִ֛ים and of thousands . hā·’ă·lā·p̄îm 1 Chronicles 13:2 דָּוִ֜יד And he dā·wîḏ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer לְכֹ֣ל׀ to the whole lə·ḵōl קְהַ֣ל assembly qə·hal יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אִם־ “ If ’im- ט֜וֹב it seems good ṭō·wḇ עֲלֵיכֶ֨ם to you , ‘ă·lê·ḵem וּמִן־ and if this is ū·min- יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū נִשְׁלְחָ֞ה let us send word niš·lə·ḥāh נִפְרְצָה֙ far and wide nip̄·rə·ṣāh עַל־ to ‘al- הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֗ים the rest han·niš·’ā·rîm אַחֵ֣ינוּ of our brothers ’a·ḥê·nū בְּכֹל֙ in all bə·ḵōl אַרְצ֣וֹת the land ’ar·ṣō·wṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וְעִמָּהֶ֛ם and also wə·‘im·mā·hem הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים to the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם and Levites wə·hal·wî·yim בְּעָרֵ֣י in their cities bə·‘ā·rê מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֑ם and pasturelands , miḡ·rə·šê·hem
