ל֔וֹ , ” lōw וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ said [Josiah] . way·yō·mer אַל־ “ Do not ’al- אִ֖ישׁ let anyone ’îš יָנַ֣ע disturb yā·na‘ עַצְמֹתָ֑יו his bones . ” ‘aṣ·mō·ṯāw עַצְמֹתָ֔יו So they left his bones ‘aṣ·mō·ṯāw אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ וַֽיְמַלְּטוּ֙ undisturbed , way·mal·lə·ṭū עַצְמ֣וֹת along with those ‘aṣ·mō·wṯ הַנָּבִ֔יא of the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- בָּ֖א had come bā מִשֹּׁמְרֽוֹן׃ from Samaria . miš·šō·mə·rō·wn 2 Kings 23:19 וַיַּ֣עַשׂ Just as Josiah way·ya·‘aś לָהֶ֔ם . . . lā·hem כְּכָל־ . . . kə·ḵāl- הַֽמַּעֲשִׂ֔ים . . . ham·ma·‘ă·śîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֖ה had done ‘ā·śāh בְּבֵֽית־ vvv bə·ḇêṯ- אֵֽל׃ at Bethel , ’êl וְגַם֩ so also wə·ḡam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ - ’ă·šer בְּעָרֵ֣י in the cities bə·‘ā·rê שֹׁמְר֗וֹן of Samaria šō·mə·rō·wn יֹֽאשִׁיָּ֑הוּ [he] yō·šî·yā·hū הֵסִ֖יר removed hê·sîr כָּל־ all kāl- בָּתֵּ֨י the shrines bāt·tê הַבָּמ֜וֹת of the high places hab·bā·mō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer עָשׂ֜וּ set up ‘ā·śū מַלְכֵ֤י by the kings mal·ḵê יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ of Israel yiś·rā·’êl לְהַכְעִ֔יס who had provoked YHWH to anger . lə·haḵ·‘îs 2 Kings 23:20 עַל־ On ‘al- הַֽמִּזְבְּח֔וֹת the altars ham·miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ וַ֠יִּזְבַּח he slaughtered way·yiz·baḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- כֹּהֲנֵ֨י the priests kō·hă·nê הַבָּמ֤וֹת of the high places hab·bā·mō·wṯ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- שָׁם֙ - , šām וַיִּשְׂרֹ֛ף and he burned way·yiś·rōp̄ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָדָ֖ם human ’ā·ḏām עַצְמ֥וֹת bones ‘aṣ·mō·wṯ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם on them . ‘ă·lê·hem וַיָּ֖שָׁב Then he returned way·yā·šāḇ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ to Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim 2 Kings 23:21 הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ The king ham·me·leḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְצַ֤ו commanded way·ṣaw כָּל־ all kāl- הָעָ֣ם the people , hā·‘ām לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr עֲשׂ֣וּ “ Keep ‘ă·śū פֶ֔סַח the Passover p̄e·saḥ לַֽיהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֑ם your God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem כַּכָּת֕וּב as [it is] written kak·kā·ṯūḇ עַ֛ל in ‘al הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh סֵ֥פֶר Book sê·p̄er הַבְּרִ֖ית of the Covenant . ” hab·bə·rîṯ 2 Kings 23:22 כִּ֣י - kî לֹ֤א No lō הַזֶּ֔ה such haz·zeh כַּפֶּ֣סַח Passover kap·pe·saḥ נַֽעֲשָׂה֙ had been observed na·‘ă·śāh מִימֵי֙ from the days mî·mê הַשֹּׁ֣פְטִ֔ים of the judges haš·šō·p̄ə·ṭîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer שָׁפְט֖וּ had governed šā·p̄ə·ṭū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְכֹ֗ל through all wə·ḵōl יְמֵ֛י the days yə·mê מַלְכֵ֥י of the kings mal·ḵê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וּמַלְכֵ֥י . . . ū·mal·ḵê יְהוּדָֽה׃ and Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh
