עַצְמ֥וֹת bones . ‘aṣ·mō·wṯ 2 Kings 23:15 וְגַ֨ם He even wə·ḡam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נָתָ֑ץ pulled down nā·ṯāṣ הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ אֵ֗ל at Bethel , ’êl הַבָּמָה֙ the high place hab·bā·māh אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer אֲשֶׁ֨ר ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֜ה set up ‘ā·śāh בְּבֵֽית־ bə·ḇêṯ- יָרָבְעָ֤ם by Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām בֶּן־ son ben- נְבָט֙ of Nebat , nə·ḇāṭ אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer אֶת־ ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל had caused Israel yiś·rā·’êl הֶחֱטִ֣יא to sin he·ḥĕ·ṭî גַּ֣ם - gam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּזְבֵּ֧חַ - ham·miz·bê·aḥ הַה֛וּא - ha·hū וְאֶת־ - . wə·’eṯ- וַיִּשְׂרֹ֧ף Then he burned way·yiś·rōp̄ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבָּמָ֖ה the high place , hab·bā·māh הֵדַ֥ק ground hê·ḏaq הַבָּמָ֛ה [it] hab·bā·māh לְעָפָ֖ר to powder , lə·‘ā·p̄ār וְשָׂרַ֥ף and burned wə·śā·rap̄ אֲשֵׁרָֽה׃ the Asherah pole . ’ă·šê·rāh 2 Kings 23:16 יֹאשִׁיָּ֗הוּ And as Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū וַיִּ֣פֶן turned , way·yi·p̄en וַיַּ֨רְא he saw way·yar אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַקְּבָרִ֤ים the tombs haq·qə·ḇā·rîm אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- שָׁם֙ there šām בָּהָ֔ר on the hillside , bā·hār וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח and he sent way·yiš·laḥ וַיִּקַּ֤ח someone to take way·yiq·qaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָֽעֲצָמוֹת֙ the bones hā·‘ă·ṣā·mō·wṯ מִן־ out of min- הַקְּבָרִ֔ים the tombs , haq·qə·ḇā·rîm וַיִּשְׂרֹ֥ף and he burned them way·yiś·rōp̄ עַל־ on ‘al- הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ וַֽיְטַמְּאֵ֑הוּ to defile it , way·ṭam·mə·’ê·hū כִּדְבַ֣ר according to the word kiḏ·ḇar יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer קָרָא֙ proclaimed qā·rā אִ֣ישׁ by the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer קָרָ֔א had foretold qā·rā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֖ים things . had·də·ḇā·rîm 2 Kings 23:17 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר Then [the king] asked , way·yō·mer מָ֚ה “ What māh הַלָּ֔ז is this hal·lāz הַצִּיּ֣וּן monument haṣ·ṣî·yūn אֲשֶׁ֖ר ’ă·šer אֲנִ֣י I ’ă·nî רֹאֶ֑ה see ? ” rō·’eh אַנְשֵׁ֣י And the men ’an·šê הָעִ֗יר of the city hā·‘îr וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ replied way·yō·mə·rū אֵלָ֜יו . . . , ’ê·lāw הַקֶּ֤בֶר “ It is the tomb haq·qe·ḇer אִישׁ־ of the man ’îš- הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- בָּ֣א came bā מִֽיהוּדָ֔ה from Judah mî·hū·ḏāh וַיִּקְרָ֗א and pronounced way·yiq·rā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֵ֙לֶּה֙ these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֤ים things had·də·ḇā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer עָשִׂ֔יתָ you have done ‘ā·śî·ṯā עַ֖ל to ‘al הַמִּזְבַּ֥ח the altar ham·miz·baḥ בֵּֽית־ of bêṯ- אֵֽל׃ Bethel . ” ’êl 2 Kings 23:18 הַנִּ֣יחוּ “ Let him rest han·nî·ḥū
