2 Kings 23:23 כִּ֗י But kî אִם־ . . . ’im- בִּשְׁמֹנֶ֤ה in the eighteenth biš·mō·neh עֶשְׂרֵה֙ . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָ֔ה year šā·nāh יֹֽאשִׁיָּ֑הוּ of Josiah’s yō·šî·yā·hū לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ reign , lam·me·leḵ הַזֶּ֛ה this haz·zeh הַפֶּ֧סַח Passover hap·pe·saḥ נַעֲשָׂ֞ה was observed na·‘ă·śāh לַיהוָ֖ה to YHWH Yah·weh בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem . bî·rū·šā·lim 2 Kings 23:24 וְגַ֣ם Furthermore , wə·ḡam אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יֹֽאשִׁיָּ֑הוּ Josiah yō·šî·yā·hū בִּעֵ֖ר removed bi·‘êr הָאֹב֣וֹת the mediums hā·’ō·ḇō·wṯ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַ֠יִּדְּעֹנִים spiritists , hay·yid·də·‘ō·nîm וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַתְּרָפִ֨ים the household gods hat·tə·rā·p̄îm וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַגִּלֻּלִ֜ים idols , hag·gil·lu·lîm וְאֵ֣ת - wə·’êṯ כָּל־ and all kāl- הַשִּׁקֻּצִ֗ים the abominations haš·šiq·qu·ṣîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer נִרְאוּ֙ were seen nir·’ū בְּאֶ֤רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ יְהוּדָה֙ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וּבִיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם and in Jerusalem . ū·ḇî·rū·šā·lim לְ֠מַעַן He did this lə·ma·‘an הָקִ֞ים to carry out hā·qîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דִּבְרֵ֤י the words diḇ·rê הַתּוֹרָה֙ of the law hat·tō·w·rāh הַכְּתֻבִ֣ים written hak·kə·ṯu·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- הַסֵּ֔פֶר the book has·sê·p̄er אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer חִלְקִיָּ֥הוּ Hilkiah ḥil·qî·yā·hū הַכֹּהֵ֖ן the priest hak·kō·hên מָצָ֛א had found mā·ṣā בֵּ֥ית in the house bêṯ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh 2 Kings 23:25 לֹֽא־ Neither lō- לְפָנָ֜יו before lə·p̄ā·nāw לֹֽא־ nor lō- וְאַחֲרָ֖יו after [Josiah] wə·’a·ḥă·rāw כָּמֹֽהוּ׃ - kā·mō·hū קָ֥ם qām הָיָ֨ה was there hā·yāh מֶ֗לֶךְ any king me·leḵ וְכָמֹהוּ֩ like him , wə·ḵā·mō·hū אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- שָׁ֤ב turned šāḇ אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh בְּכָל־ with all bə·ḵāl לְבָב֤וֹ his heart lə·ḇā·ḇōw וּבְכָל־ and with all ū·ḇə·ḵāl נַפְשׁוֹ֙ his soul nap̄·šōw וּבְכָל־ and with all ū·ḇə·ḵāl מְאֹד֔וֹ his strength , mə·’ō·ḏōw כְּכֹ֖ל according to all kə·ḵōl תּוֹרַ֣ת the Law tō·w·raṯ מֹשֶׁ֑ה of Moses . mō·šeh 2 Kings 23:26 אַ֣ךְ׀ Nevertheless , ’aḵ יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh לֹֽא־ did not lō- שָׁ֣ב turn away šāḇ מֵחֲר֤וֹן from the fury mê·ḥă·rō·wn הַגָּד֔וֹל of His burning hag·gā·ḏō·wl אַפּוֹ֙ anger , ’ap·pōw אֲשֶׁר־ which ’ă·šer- חָרָ֥ה was kindled ḥā·rāh אַפּ֖וֹ . . . ’ap·pōw בִּֽיהוּדָ֑ה against Judah bî·hū·ḏāh עַ֚ל because of ‘al כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer מְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ Manasseh mə·naš·šeh הַכְּעָסִ֔ים had done hak·kə·‘ā·sîm הִכְעִיס֖וֹ to provoke Him to anger . hiḵ·‘î·sōw 2 Kings 23:27 יְהוָ֗ה For YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֣אמֶר had said , way·yō·mer גַּ֤ם “ I will gam אֶת־ - ’eṯ-
