2 Kings 10:25 וַיְהִ֞י - way·hî כְּכַלֹּת֣וֹ׀ When he had finished kə·ḵal·lō·ṯōw לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת making la·‘ă·śō·wṯ הָעֹלָ֗ה the burnt offering , hā·‘ō·lāh יֵ֠הוּא Jehu yê·hū וַיֹּ֣אמֶר said way·yō·mer לָרָצִ֨ים to the guards lā·rā·ṣîm וְלַשָּׁלִשִׁ֜ים and officers , wə·laš·šā·li·šîm בֹּ֤אוּ “ Go in bō·’ū הַכּוּם֙ and kill them . hak·kūm אַל־ Do not ’al- אִ֣ישׁ let anyone ’îš יֵצֵ֔א out . ” yê·ṣê הָֽרָצִים֙ So the guards hā·rā·ṣîm וְהַשָּׁ֣לִשִׁ֔ים and officers wə·haš·šā·li·šîm וַיַּכּ֖וּם put them way·yak·kūm לְפִי־ vvv lə·p̄î- חָ֑רֶב to the sword , ḥā·reḇ וַיַּשְׁלִ֗כוּ threw [the bodies] out , way·yaš·li·ḵū וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ and went way·yê·lə·ḵū עַד־ into ‘aḏ- עִ֥יר the inner room ‘îr בֵּית־ of the temple bêṯ- הַבָּֽעַל׃ of Baal . hab·bā·‘al 2 Kings 10:26 וַיֹּצִ֛אוּ They brought out way·yō·ṣi·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מַצְּב֥וֹת the [sacred] pillar maṣ·ṣə·ḇō·wṯ בֵּית־ of the temple bêṯ- הַבַּ֖עַל of Baal hab·ba·‘al וַֽיִּשְׂרְפֽוּהָ׃ and burned it . way·yiś·rə·p̄ū·hā 2 Kings 10:27 וַֽיִּתְּצ֔וּ They also demolished way·yit·tə·ṣū אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ מַצְּבַ֣ת the [sacred] pillar maṣ·ṣə·ḇaṯ הַבָּ֑עַל of Baal . hab·bā·‘al וַֽיִּתְּצוּ֙ Then they tore down way·yit·tə·ṣū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֣ית the temple bêṯ הַבַּ֔עַל of Baal hab·ba·‘al וַיְשִׂמֻ֥הוּ and made way·śi·mu·hū לְמַחֲרָאוֹת it into a latrine , lə·ma·ḥă·rå̄·ʾōṯ עַד־ which it is to ‘aḏ- הַיּֽוֹם׃ this day . hay·yō·wm 2 Kings 10:28 יֵה֛וּא Thus Jehu yê·hū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּשְׁמֵ֥ד eradicated way·yaš·mêḏ הַבַּ֖עַל Baal hab·ba·‘al מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ from Israel , mî·yiś·rā·’êl 2 Kings 10:29 רַ֠ק but raq יֵה֖וּא [he] yê·hū לֹֽא־ did not lō- סָ֥ר turn away sār מֵאַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם from mê·’a·ḥă·rê·hem חֲטָאֵ֞י the sins ḥă·ṭā·’ê יָרָבְעָ֤ם that Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām בֶּן־ son ben- נְבָט֙ of Nebat nə·ḇāṭ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל had caused Israel yiś·rā·’êl הֶחֱטִ֣יא to commit — he·ḥĕ·ṭî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזָּהָ֔ב the worship of the golden haz·zā·hāḇ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer בֵּֽית־ bêṯ- עֶגְלֵי֙ calves ‘eḡ·lê אֵ֖ל at Bethel ’êl וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר - wa·’ă·šer בְּדָֽן׃ס and Dan . bə·ḏān 2 Kings 10:30 יְהוָ֜ה Nevertheless, YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- יֵה֗וּא Jehu , yê·hū יַ֤עַן “ Because ya·‘an אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הֱטִיבֹ֙תָ֙ you have done well hĕ·ṭî·ḇō·ṯā לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת in carrying out la·‘ă·śō·wṯ הַיָּשָׁר֙ what is right hay·yā·šār בְּעֵינַ֔י in My sight bə·‘ê·nay עָשִׂ֖יתָ and have done ‘ā·śî·ṯā לְבֵ֣ית to the house lə·ḇêṯ אַחְאָ֑ב of Ahab ’aḥ·’āḇ כְּכֹל֙ all kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer בִּלְבָבִ֔י was in My heart , bil·ḇā·ḇî
