שָׁנִֽים׃ years šā·nîm בְּאֶֽרֶץ־ in the land bə·’e·reṣ- פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים of the Philistines . pə·liš·tîm 2 Kings 8:3 וַיְהִ֗י - way·hî מִקְצֵה֙ At the end miq·ṣêh שֶׁ֣בַע of seven še·ḇa‘ שָׁנִ֔ים years , šā·nîm הָאִשָּׁ֖ה when the woman hā·’iš·šāh וַתָּ֥שָׁב returned wat·tā·šāḇ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ from the land mê·’e·reṣ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים of the Philistines , pə·liš·tîm וַתֵּצֵא֙ she went wat·tê·ṣê אֶל־ to ’el- הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ לִצְעֹ֣ק to appeal liṣ·‘ōq אֶל־ for ’el- בֵּיתָ֖הּ her house bê·ṯāh וְאֶל־ and wə·’el- שָׂדָֽהּ׃ her land . śā·ḏāh 2 Kings 8:4 וְהַמֶּ֗לֶךְ Now the king wə·ham·me·leḵ מְדַבֵּר֙ had been speaking mə·ḏab·bêr אֶל־ to ’el- גֵּ֣חֲזִ֔י Gehazi , gê·ḥă·zî נַ֥עַר the servant na·‘ar אִישׁ־ of the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm לֵאמֹ֑ר saying , lê·mōr נָּ֣א “ Please nā סַפְּרָה־ relate sap·pə·rāh- לִ֔י to me lî אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- הַגְּדֹל֖וֹת the great things hag·gə·ḏō·lō·wṯ אֲשֶׁר־ ’ă·šer- אֱלִישָֽׁע׃ Elisha ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ עָשָׂ֥ה has done . ” ‘ā·śāh 2 Kings 8:5 וַ֠יְהִי And way·hî ה֥וּא Gehazi hū מְסַפֵּ֣ר was telling mə·sap·pêr לַמֶּלֶךְ֮ the king lam·me·leḵ אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁר־ how ’ă·šer- הַמֵּת֒ Elisha had brought the dead ham·mêṯ הֶחֱיָ֣ה back to life . he·ḥĕ·yāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהִנֵּ֨ה Just then wə·hin·nêh הָאִשָּׁ֜ה the woman hā·’iš·šāh אֲשֶׁר־ whose ’ă·šer- בְּנָהּ֙ son bə·nāh הֶחֱיָ֤ה [Elisha] had revived he·ḥĕ·yāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צֹעֶ֣קֶת came to appeal ṣō·‘e·qeṯ אֶל־ to ’el- הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ עַל־ for ‘al- בֵּיתָ֖הּ her house bê·ṯāh וְעַל־ and wə·‘al- שָׂדָ֑הּ her land . śā·ḏāh גֵּֽחֲזִי֙ So Gehazi gê·ḥă·zî וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said , way·yō·mer אֲדֹנִ֣י “ My lord ’ă·ḏō·nî הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ the king , ham·me·leḵ זֹ֚את this zōṯ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה is the woman , hā·’iš·šāh וְזֶה־ and this wə·zeh- בְּנָ֖הּ is the son bə·nāh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אֱלִישָֽׁע׃ Elisha ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ הֶחֱיָ֥ה restored to life . ” he·ḥĕ·yāh 2 Kings 8:6 הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ When the king ham·me·leḵ וַיִּשְׁאַ֥ל asked way·yiš·’al לָאִשָּׁ֖ה the woman , lā·’iš·šāh וַתְּסַפֶּר־ she confirmed it wat·tə·sap·per- ל֑וֹ - . lōw הַמֶּלֶךְ֩ So the king ham·me·leḵ וַיִּתֶּן־ appointed way·yit·ten- לָ֣הּ for her lāh אֶחָ֜ד an ’e·ḥāḏ סָרִ֨יס officer , sā·rîs לֵאמֹ֗ר saying , lê·mōr הָשֵׁ֤יב “ Restore hā·šêḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁר־ that [was] ’ă·šer- לָהּ֙ hers , lāh וְאֵת֙ - wə·’êṯ כָּל־ along with all kāl- תְּבוּאֹ֣ת the proceeds tə·ḇū·’ōṯ
