כְּכָל־thatkə·ḵāl-
הֲמ֥וֹןvvvhă·mō·wn
יִשְׂרָאֵ֖לall the Israelitesyiś·rā·’êl
אֲשֶׁר־here’ă·šer-
תָּ֑מּוּare doomed .tām·mū
וְנִשְׁלְחָ֖הSo let us send themwə·niš·lə·ḥāh
וְנִרְאֶֽה׃and find out . ”wə·nir·’eh

אַחֲרֵ֧יafter’a·ḥă·rê
אֲרָ֛םthe Aramean’ă·rām
מַחֲנֵֽה־ army , ma·ḥă·nêh-
לֵאמֹ֖ר saying , lê·mōr
לְכ֥וּ“ Golə·ḵū
וּרְאֽוּ׃and see . ”ū·rə·’ū
2 Kings 7:15וַיֵּלְכ֣וּAnd they tracked themway·yê·lə·ḵū
אַחֲרֵיהֶם֮. . .’a·ḥă·rê·hem
עַד־as‘aḏ-
הַיַּרְדֵּן֒ far as the Jordan , hay·yar·dên
וְהִנֵּ֣ה and indeed , wə·hin·nêh
כָל־the wholeḵāl
הַדֶּ֗רֶךְwayhad·de·reḵ
מְלֵאָ֤הwas littered withmə·lê·’āh
בְגָדִים֙the clothingḇə·ḡā·ḏîm
וְכֵלִ֔יםand equipmentwə·ḵê·lîm
אֲשֶׁר־-’ă·šer-
אֲרָ֖םthe Arameans’ă·rām
הִשְׁלִ֥יכוּhad thrown offhiš·lî·ḵū
בְּהֵחָפְזָםin haste .bə·hē·ḥå̄·p̄ə·zå̄m
הַמַּלְאָכִ֔יםSo the scoutsham·mal·’ā·ḵîm
וַיָּשֻׁ֙בוּ֙returnedway·yā·šu·ḇū
וַיַּגִּ֖דוּand toldway·yag·gi·ḏū
לַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃the king .lam·me·leḵ

וַיֵּצֵ֣אwent outway·yê·ṣê
וַיָּבֹ֕זּוּand plunderedway·yā·ḇōz·zū
אֵ֖ת-’êṯ
מַחֲנֵ֣הthe campma·ḥă·nêh
אֲרָ֑םof the Arameans .’ă·rām
וַיְהִ֨יIt was then thatway·hî
סְאָה־a seahsə·’āh-
סֹ֜לֶתof fine floursō·leṯ
בְּשֶׁ֗קֶל [sold] for a shekel , bə·še·qel
וְסָאתַ֧יִםand two seahswə·sā·ṯa·yim
שְׂעֹרִ֛יםof barleyśə·‘ō·rîm
בְּשֶׁ֖קֶל [sold] for a shekel , bə·še·qel
כִּדְבַ֥רaccording to the wordkiḏ·ḇar
יְהוָֽה׃of YHWH .Yah·weh
2 Kings 7:17וְהַמֶּלֶךְ֩Now the kingwə·ham·me·leḵ
הִפְקִ֨ידhad appointedhip̄·qîḏ
אֶת־-’eṯ-
הַשָּׁלִ֜ישׁthe officerhaš·šā·lîš
עַל־on‘al-
אֲשֶׁר־whose’ă·šer-
יָדוֹ֙armyā·ḏōw
נִשְׁעָ֤ןhe leanedniš·‘ān
עַל־to be in charge of‘al-
הַשַּׁ֔עַר the gate , haš·ša·‘ar
הָעָ֛םbut the peoplehā·‘ām
וַיִּרְמְסֻ֧הוּtrampled himway·yir·mə·su·hū
בַּשַּׁ֖עַר in the gateway , baš·ša·‘ar
וַיָּמֹ֑ת and he died , way·yā·mōṯ
כַּאֲשֶׁ֤רjust aska·’ă·šer
דִּבֶּר֙dib·ber
אִ֣ישׁthe man’îš
הָאֱלֹהִ֔יםof Godhā·’ĕ·lō·hîm
אֲשֶׁ֣ר-’ă·šer
דִּבֶּ֔רhad foretolddib·ber
הַמֶּ֖לֶךְwhen the kingham·me·leḵ
בְּרֶ֥דֶתhad comebə·re·ḏeṯ
