בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl הָאָ֔רֶץ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ כִּ֖י except kî אִם־ . . . ’im- בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל in Israel . bə·yiś·rā·’êl וְעַתָּ֛ה So wə·‘at·tāh נָ֥א please nā קַח־ accept qaḥ- בְרָכָ֖ה a gift ḇə·rā·ḵāh מֵאֵ֥ת from mê·’êṯ עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ your servant . ” ‘aḇ·de·ḵā 2 Kings 5:16 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר But Elisha replied , way·yō·mer יְהוָ֛ה “ As surely as YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- חַי־ lives , ḥay- לְפָנָ֖יו before whom lə·p̄ā·nāw עָמַ֥דְתִּי I stand , ‘ā·maḏ·tî אִם־ I will not ’im- אֶקָּ֑ח accept it . ” ’eq·qāḥ וַיִּפְצַר־ And although Naaman urged way·yip̄·ṣar- בּ֥וֹ him bōw לָקַ֖חַת to accept it , lā·qa·ḥaṯ וַיְמָאֵֽן׃ he refused . way·mā·’ên 2 Kings 5:17 וָלֹ֕א “ If you will not , ” wā·lō וַיֹּאמֶר֮ said way·yō·mer נַעֲמָן֒ Naaman , na·‘ă·mān נָ֣א “ please nā לְעַבְדְּךָ֔ let me, your servant, lə·‘aḇ·də·ḵā יֻתַּן־ be given yut·tan- אֲדָמָ֑ה as much soil ’ă·ḏā·māh צֶֽמֶד־ as a pair ṣe·meḏ- פְּרָדִ֖ים of mules pə·rā·ḏîm מַשָּׂ֥א can carry . maś·śā כִּ֡י For kî עַבְדְּךָ֜ your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā לֽוֹא־ will never lō·w- ע֨וֹד again ‘ō·wḏ יַעֲשֶׂה֩ make ya·‘ă·śeh עֹלָ֤ה a burnt offering ‘ō·lāh וָזֶ֙בַח֙ or a sacrifice wā·ze·ḇaḥ אֲחֵרִ֔ים to any other ’ă·ḥê·rîm לֵאלֹהִ֣ים god lê·lō·hîm כִּ֖י kî אִם־ but ’im- לַיהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh 2 Kings 5:18 יְהוָ֖ה Yet may YHWH Yah·weh יִסְלַ֥ח forgive yis·laḥ לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ your servant lə·‘aḇ·de·ḵā הַזֶּ֔ה this haz·zeh לַדָּבָ֣ר one thing : lad·dā·ḇār אֲדֹנִ֣י When my master ’ă·ḏō·nî בְּב֣וֹא goes into bə·ḇō·w בֵית־ the temple ḇêṯ- רִמּוֹן֩ of Rimmon rim·mō·wn לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֨ת to worship lə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wōṯ שָׁ֜מָּה there , šām·māh וְה֣וּא׀ and he wə·hū נִשְׁעָ֣ן leans niš·‘ān עַל־ on ‘al- יָדִ֗י my arm , yā·ḏî וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֵ֙יתִי֙ and I bow down wə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wê·ṯî בֵּ֣ית in the temple bêṯ רִמֹּ֔ן of Rimmon rim·mōn בְּהִשְׁתַּחֲוָיָ֙תִי֙ - bə·hiš·ta·ḥă·wā·yā·ṯî בֵּ֣ית - bêṯ רִמֹּ֔ן - , rim·mōn נא may n יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh יִסְלַח־ forgive yis·laḥ- לְעַבְדְּךָ֖ your servant lə·‘aḇ·də·ḵā הַזֶּֽה׃ in this haz·zeh בַּדָּבָ֥ר matter . ” bad·dā·ḇār 2 Kings 5:19 לֵ֣ךְ “ Go lêḵ לְשָׁל֑וֹם in peace , ” lə·šā·lō·wm וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said [Elisha] way·yō·mer ל֖וֹ . lōw וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ But after [Naaman] had traveled way·yê·leḵ מֵאִתּ֖וֹ . . . mê·’it·tōw כִּבְרַת־ a short distance kiḇ·raṯ- אָֽרֶץ׃ס , ’ā·reṣ 2 Kings 5:20 גֵּיחֲזִ֗י Gehazi , gê·ḥă·zî נַעַר֮ the servant na·‘ar אֱלִישָׁ֣ע of Elisha ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ אִישׁ־ the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹהִים֒ of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm
