2 Kings 5:11 נַעֲמָ֖ן But Naaman na·‘ă·mān וַיֵּלַ֑ךְ went away way·yê·laḵ וַיִּקְצֹ֥ף angry , way·yiq·ṣōp̄ וַיֹּאמֶר֩ saying , way·yō·mer הִנֵּ֨ה . . . hin·nêh אָמַ֜רְתִּי “ I thought that ’ā·mar·tî אֵלַ֣י׀ ’ê·lay יֵצֵ֣א he would surely come out yê·ṣê יָצ֗וֹא . . . , yā·ṣō·w וְעָמַד֙ stand wə·‘ā·maḏ וְקָרָא֙ and call wə·qā·rā בְּשֵׁם־ on the name bə·šêm- יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֔יו his God , ’ĕ·lō·hāw וְהֵנִ֥יף and wave wə·hê·nîp̄ יָד֛וֹ his hand yā·ḏōw אֶל־ over ’el- הַמָּק֖וֹם the spot ham·mā·qō·wm וְאָסַ֥ף to cure wə·’ā·sap̄ הַמְּצֹרָֽע׃ my leprosy . ham·mə·ṣō·rā‘ 2 Kings 5:12 הֲלֹ֡א [Are] not hă·lō אֲבָנָה the Abanah ʾă·ḇå̄·nå̄h וּפַרְפַּ֜ר and Pharpar , ū·p̄ar·par נַהֲר֣וֹת the rivers na·hă·rō·wṯ דַּמֶּ֗שֶׂק of Damascus , dam·me·śeq טוֹב֩ better ṭō·wḇ מִכֹּל֙ than all mik·kōl מֵימֵ֣י the waters mê·mê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel ? yiś·rā·’êl הֲלֹֽא־ Could I not hă·lō- אֶרְחַ֥ץ have washed ’er·ḥaṣ בָּהֶ֖ם in them bā·hem וְטָהָ֑רְתִּי and been cleansed ? ” wə·ṭā·hā·rə·tî וַיִּ֖פֶן So he turned way·yi·p̄en וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ and went away way·yê·leḵ בְּחֵמָֽה׃ in a rage . bə·ḥê·māh 2 Kings 5:13 עֲבָדָיו֮ Naaman’s servants, however , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַיִּגְּשׁ֣וּ approached him way·yig·gə·šū וַיְדַבְּר֣וּ and said way·ḏab·bə·rū אֵלָיו֒ - , ’ê·lāw וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ - way·yō·mə·rū אָבִי֙ “ My father , ’ā·ḇî הַנָּבִ֛יא if the prophet han·nā·ḇî דִּבֶּ֥ר had told dib·ber אֵלֶ֖יךָ you ’ê·le·ḵā גָּד֗וֹל to do some great gā·ḏō·wl דָּבָ֣ר thing , dā·ḇār הֲל֣וֹא would you not hă·lō·w תַעֲשֶׂ֑ה have done [it] ? ṯa·‘ă·śeh וְאַ֛ף How much more, then , wə·’ap̄ כִּֽי־ when kî- אָמַ֥ר he tells ’ā·mar אֵלֶ֖יךָ you , ’ê·le·ḵā רְחַ֥ץ ‘ Wash rə·ḥaṣ וּטְהָֽר׃ and be cleansed ’? ” ū·ṭə·hār 2 Kings 5:14 וַיֵּ֗רֶד So Naaman went down way·yê·reḏ וַיִּטְבֹּ֤ל and dipped himself way·yiṭ·bōl בַּיַּרְדֵּן֙ in the Jordan bay·yar·dên שֶׁ֣בַע seven še·ḇa‘ פְּעָמִ֔ים times , pə·‘ā·mîm כִּדְבַ֖ר according to the word kiḏ·ḇar אִ֣ישׁ of the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm בְּשָׂר֗וֹ and his flesh bə·śā·rōw וַיָּ֣שָׁב was restored way·yā·šāḇ כִּבְשַׂ֛ר and became like [that] kiḇ·śar קָטֹ֖ן of a little qā·ṭōn נַ֥עַר child , na·‘ar וַיִּטְהָֽר׃ and he was clean . way·yiṭ·hār 2 Kings 5:15 ה֣וּא Then Naaman hū וְכָֽל־ and all wə·ḵāl מַחֲנֵ֗הוּ his attendants ma·ḥă·nê·hū וַיָּבֹא֮ . . . way·yā·ḇō וַיָּשָׁב֩ went back way·yā·šāḇ אֶל־ to ’el- אִ֨ישׁ the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֜ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד stood way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ לְפָנָיו֒ before him , lə·p̄ā·nāw וַיֹּ֗אמֶר and declared , way·yō·mer נָ֤א “ Now nā יָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ I know yā·ḏa‘·tî הִנֵּה־ for sure hin·nêh- כִּ֣י that kî אֵ֤ין there is no ’ên אֱלֹהִים֙ God ’ĕ·lō·hîm
