וַיְשַׁלַּ֥ח Then he dismissed way·šal·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים the men , hā·’ă·nā·šîm וַיֵּלֵֽכוּ׃ and they departed . way·yê·lê·ḵū 2 Kings 5:25 וְהוּא־ When Gehazi wə·hū- בָא֙ went in ḇā וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד and stood way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ אֶל־ before ’el- אֲדֹנָ֔יו his master , ’ă·ḏō·nāw אֱלִישָׁ֔ע Elisha ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר asked way·yō·mer אֵלָיו֙ him , ’ê·lāw גֵּחֲזִ֑י “ Gehazi , gê·ḥă·zî מֵאָן where [have you been] ? ” mē·ʾå̄n עַבְדְּךָ֖ “ Your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā לֹֽא־ did not lō- הָלַ֥ךְ go hā·laḵ אָ֥נֶה anywhere , ” ’ā·neh וָאָֽנָה׃ . . . wā·’ā·nāh וַיֹּ֕אמֶר he replied . way·yō·mer 2 Kings 5:26 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר But Elisha questioned him , way·yō·mer אֵלָיו֙ . . . ’ê·lāw לֹא־ “ Did not lō- לִבִּ֣י my spirit lib·bî הָלַ֔ךְ go [with you] hā·laḵ כַּאֲשֶׁ֧ר when ka·’ă·šer אִ֛ישׁ the man ’îš הָֽפַךְ־ got down hā·p̄aḵ- מֵעַ֥ל from mê·‘al מֶרְכַּבְתּ֖וֹ his chariot mer·kaḇ·tōw לִקְרָאתֶ֑ךָ to meet you ? liq·rā·ṯe·ḵā הַעֵ֞ת Is this the time ha·‘êṯ לָקַ֤חַת to accept lā·qa·ḥaṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ money hak·ke·sep̄ וְלָקַ֣חַת . . . wə·lā·qa·ḥaṯ בְּגָדִ֔ים and clothing , bə·ḡā·ḏîm וְזֵיתִ֤ים olive groves wə·zê·ṯîm וּכְרָמִים֙ and vineyards , ū·ḵə·rā·mîm וְצֹ֣אן sheep wə·ṣōn וּבָקָ֔ר and oxen , ū·ḇā·qār וַעֲבָדִ֖ים menservants wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm וּשְׁפָחֽוֹת׃ and maidservants ? ū·šə·p̄ā·ḥō·wṯ 2 Kings 5:27 וְצָרַ֤עַת Therefore, the leprosy wə·ṣā·ra·‘aṯ נַֽעֲמָן֙ of Naaman na·‘ă·mān תִּֽדְבַּק־ will cling tiḏ·baq- בְּךָ֔ to you bə·ḵā וּֽבְזַרְעֲךָ and your descendants ū·ḇə·zar·‘ă·ḵā לְעוֹלָ֑ם forever ! ” lə·‘ō·w·lām וַיֵּצֵ֥א And as Gehazi left way·yê·ṣê מִלְּפָנָ֖יו his presence , mil·lə·p̄ā·nāw מְצֹרָ֥ע [he was] leprous — mə·ṣō·rā‘ כַּשָּֽׁלֶג׃ס [as white] as snow . kaš·šā·leḡ 2 Kings 6:1 בְנֵֽי־ Now the sons ḇə·nê- הַנְּבִיאִ֖ים of the prophets han·nə·ḇî·’îm וַיֹּאמְר֥וּ said way·yō·mə·rū אֶל־ to ’el- אֱלִישָׁ֑ע Elisha , ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ נָ֣א “ Please nā הִנֵּֽה־ take note hin·nêh- הַמָּק֗וֹם that the place ham·mā·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֨ר where ’ă·šer אֲנַ֜חְנוּ we ’ă·naḥ·nū יֹשְׁבִ֥ים meet yō·šə·ḇîm שָׁ֛ם šām לְפָנֶ֖יךָ with you lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā צַ֥ר is too small ṣar מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ for us . mim·men·nū 2 Kings 6:2 נָּ֣א Please nā נֵֽלֲכָה־ let us go nē·lă·ḵå̄h- עַד־ to ‘aḏ- הַיַּרְדֵּ֗ן the Jordan , hay·yar·dên מִשָּׁם֙ where miš·šām אִ֚ישׁ each of us ’îš וְנִקְחָ֤ה can get wə·niq·ḥāh אֶחָ֔ת a ’e·ḥāṯ קוֹרָ֣ה log qō·w·rāh וְנַעֲשֶׂה־ so we can build wə·na·‘ă·śeh- לָּ֥נוּ ourselves lā·nū מָק֖וֹם a place mā·qō·wm לָשֶׁ֣בֶת to live lā·še·ḇeṯ שָׁ֑ם . . . šām שָׁ֛ם there . ” šām לֵֽכוּ׃ “ Go , ” lê·ḵū וַיֹּ֖אמֶר said [Elisha] . way·yō·mer
