חֲגֹ֣ר “ Tie up ḥă·ḡōr מָתְנֶ֗יךָ your garment , mā·ṯə·ne·ḵā וְקַ֨ח take wə·qaḥ מִשְׁעַנְתִּ֣י my staff miš·‘an·tî בְיָדְךָ֮ in your hand , ḇə·yā·ḏə·ḵā וָלֵךְ֒ and go ! wā·lêḵ כִּֽי־ If kî- תִמְצָ֥א you meet ṯim·ṣā אִישׁ֙ anyone , ’îš לֹ֣א do not lō תְבָרְכֶ֔נּוּ greet him , ṯə·ḇā·rə·ḵen·nū וְכִֽי־ and if wə·ḵî- אִ֖ישׁ anyone ’îš יְבָרֶכְךָ֥ greets you , yə·ḇā·reḵ·ḵā לֹ֣א do not lō תַעֲנֶנּ֑וּ answer him . ṯa·‘ă·nen·nū וְשַׂמְתָּ֥ Then lay wə·śam·tā מִשְׁעַנְתִּ֖י my staff miš·‘an·tî עַל־ on ‘al- הַנָּֽעַר׃ the boy’s han·nā·‘ar פְּנֵ֥י face . ” pə·nê 2 Kings 4:30 אֵ֣ם And the mother ’êm הַנַּ֔עַר of the boy han·na·‘ar וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ said , wat·tō·mer יְהוָ֥ה “ As surely as YHWH Yah·weh חַי־ lives ḥay- נַפְשְׁךָ֖ and as you yourself nap̄·šə·ḵā וְחֵֽי־ live , wə·ḥê- אִם־ I will not ’im- אֶעֶזְבֶ֑ךָּ leave you . ” ’e·‘ez·ḇe·kā וַיָּ֖קָם So he got up way·yā·qām וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ and followed way·yê·leḵ אַחֲרֶֽיהָ׃ her . ’a·ḥă·re·hā 2 Kings 4:31 וְגֵחֲזִ֞י Gehazi wə·ḡê·ḥă·zî עָבַ֣ר went on ‘ā·ḇar לִפְנֵיהֶ֗ם ahead of them lip̄·nê·hem וַיָּ֤שֶׂם and laid way·yā·śem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּשְׁעֶ֙נֶת֙ the staff ham·miš·‘e·neṯ עַל־ on ‘al- הַנַּ֔עַר the boy’s han·na·‘ar פְּנֵ֣י face , pə·nê וְאֵ֥ין but there was no wə·’ên ק֖וֹל sound qō·wl וְאֵ֣ין [or] wə·’ên קָ֑שֶׁב response . qā·šeḇ וַיָּ֤שָׁב So he went back way·yā·šāḇ לִקְרָאתוֹ֙ to meet [Elisha] liq·rā·ṯōw וַיַּגֶּד־ and told way·yag·geḏ- ל֣וֹ him , lōw לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr הַנָּֽעַר׃ “ The boy han·nā·‘ar לֹ֥א has not lō הֵקִ֖יץ awakened . ” hê·qîṣ 2 Kings 4:32 אֱלִישָׁ֖ע When Elisha ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ וַיָּבֹ֥א reached way·yā·ḇō הַבָּ֑יְתָה the house , hab·bā·yə·ṯāh וְהִנֵּ֤ה there was wə·hin·nêh הַנַּ֙עַר֙ the boy han·na·‘ar מֻשְׁכָּ֖ב lying muš·kāḇ מֵ֔ת dead mêṯ עַל־ on ‘al- מִטָּתֽוֹ׃ his bed . miṭ·ṭā·ṯōw 2 Kings 4:33 וַיָּבֹ֕א So he went in , way·yā·ḇō וַיִּסְגֹּ֥ר closed way·yis·gōr הַדֶּ֖לֶת the door had·de·leṯ בְּעַ֣ד behind bə·‘aḏ שְׁנֵיהֶ֑ם the two of them , šə·nê·hem וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֖ל and prayed way·yiṯ·pal·lêl אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH . Yah·weh 2 Kings 4:34 וַיַּ֜עַל Then [Elisha] got on the bed way·ya·‘al וַיִּשְׁכַּ֣ב and lay way·yiš·kaḇ עַל־ on ‘al- הַיֶּ֗לֶד the boy , hay·ye·leḏ וַיָּשֶׂם֩ - way·yā·śem פִּ֨יו mouth pîw עַל־ to ‘al- פִּ֜יו mouth , pîw וְעֵינָ֤יו eye wə·‘ê·nāw עַל־ to ‘al- עֵינָיו֙ eye , ‘ê·nāw וְכַפָּ֣יו and hand wə·ḵap·pāw עַל־ to ‘al- כַּפּוֹ hand . kap·pō
