אֶֽל־ . . . ’el- נַעֲרָ֖הּ her servant , na·‘ă·rāh נְהַ֣ג “ Drive nə·haḡ וָלֵ֑ךְ onward ; wā·lêḵ אַל־ do not ’al- תַּעֲצָר־ slow ta·‘ă·ṣār- לִרְכֹּ֔ב the pace lir·kōḇ לִ֣י for me lî כִּ֖י - kî אִם־ unless ’im- אָמַ֥רְתִּי I tell ’ā·mar·tî לָֽךְ׃ you . ” lāḵ 2 Kings 4:25 וַתֵּ֗לֶךְ So she set out wat·tê·leḵ וַתָּב֛וֹא and went wat·tā·ḇō·w אֶל־ to ’el- אִ֥ישׁ the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֶל־ at ’el- הַ֣ר Mount har הַכַּרְמֶ֑ל Carmel . hak·kar·mel וַ֠יְהִי . . . way·hî אִישׁ־ When the man ’îš- הָאֱלֹהִ֤ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm כִּרְא֨וֹת saw kir·’ō·wṯ אֹתָהּ֙ her ’ō·ṯāh מִנֶּ֔גֶד at a distance , min·ne·ḡeḏ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ he said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- נַעֲר֔וֹ his servant na·‘ă·rōw גֵּיחֲזִ֣י Gehazi , gê·ḥă·zî הִנֵּ֖ה “ Look , hin·nêh הַלָּֽז׃ there is hal·lāz הַשּׁוּנַמִּ֥ית the Shunammite woman . haš·šū·nam·mîṯ 2 Kings 4:26 נָ֣א Please nā רֽוּץ־ run out rūṣ- עַתָּה֮ now ‘at·tāh לִקְרָאתָהּ֒ to meet her liq·rā·ṯāh וֶאֱמָר־ and ask we·’ĕ·mār- לָ֗הּ , lāh הֲשָׁל֥וֹם ‘ Are you all right hă·šā·lō·wm לָ֛ךְ . . . ? lāḵ לְאִישֵׁ֖ךְ Is your husband lə·’î·šêḵ הֲשָׁל֥וֹם all right ? hă·šā·lō·wm לַיָּ֑לֶד Is your child lay·yā·leḏ הֲשָׁל֣וֹם all right ? ’” hă·šā·lō·wm וַתֹּ֖אמֶר And she answered , wat·tō·mer שָׁלֽוֹם׃ “ Everything is all right . ” šā·lō·wm 2 Kings 4:27 וַתָּבֹ֞א When she reached wat·tā·ḇō אֶל־ . . . ’el- אִ֤ישׁ the man ’îš הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֶל־ at ’el- הָהָ֔ר the mountain , hā·hār וַֽתַּחֲזֵ֖ק she clung wat·ta·ḥă·zêq בְּרַגְלָ֑יו to his feet . bə·raḡ·lāw גֵּֽיחֲזִ֜י Gehazi gê·ḥă·zî וַיִּגַּ֨שׁ came over way·yig·gaš לְהָדְפָ֗הּ to push her away , lə·hā·ḏə·p̄āh אִ֨ישׁ but the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֤ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיֹּאמֶר֩ said , way·yō·mer הַרְפֵּֽה־ “ Leave her alone har·pêh- לָהּ֙ . . . , lāh כִּֽי־ for kî- נַפְשָׁ֣הּ her soul nap̄·šāh מָֽרָה־ [is] in deep distress mā·rāh- לָ֔הּ , lāh וַֽיהוָה֙ and YHWH Yah·weh הֶעְלִ֣ים has hidden he‘·lîm מִמֶּ֔נִּי it from me mim·men·nî וְלֹ֥א and has not wə·lō הִגִּ֖יד told hig·gîḏ לִֽי׃ me . ” lî 2 Kings 4:28 וַתֹּ֕אמֶר Then she said , wat·tō·mer הֲשָׁאַ֥לְתִּי “ Did I ask you hă·šā·’al·tî בֵ֖ן for a son ḇên מֵאֵ֣ת . . . , mê·’êṯ אֲדֹנִ֑י my lord ? ’ă·ḏō·nî הֲלֹ֣א Didn’t hă·lō אָמַ֔רְתִּי I say , ’ā·mar·tî לֹ֥א ‘ Do not lō תַשְׁלֶ֖ה deceive me ṯaš·leh אֹתִֽי׃ - ? ’” ’ō·ṯî 2 Kings 4:29 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר So Elisha said way·yō·mer לְגֵיחֲזִ֜י to Gehazi , lə·ḡê·ḥă·zî
