לֵאמֹ֗ר . . . , lê·mōr עַבְדְּךָ֤ “ Your servant , ‘aḇ·də·ḵā אִישִׁי֙ my husband , ’î·šî מֵ֔ת is dead , mêṯ וְאַתָּ֣ה and you wə·’at·tāh יָדַ֔עְתָּ know yā·ḏa‘·tā כִּ֣י that kî עַבְדְּךָ֔ your servant ‘aḇ·də·ḵā הָיָ֥ה hā·yāh יָרֵ֖א feared yā·rê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֑ה YHWH . Yah·weh וְהַ֨נֹּשֶׁ֔ה And now his creditor wə·han·nō·šeh בָּ֗א is coming bā לָקַ֜חַת to take lā·qa·ḥaṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁנֵ֧י my two šə·nê יְלָדַ֛י children yə·lā·ḏay ל֖וֹ as his lōw לַעֲבָדִֽים׃ slaves ! ” la·‘ă·ḇā·ḏîm 2 Kings 4:2 מָ֣ה “ How māh אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־ can I ’e·‘ĕ·śeh- לָּ֔ךְ help you ? ” lāḵ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר asked way·yō·mer אֱלִישָׁע֙ Elisha ’ĕ·lî·šā‘ אֵלֶ֤יהָ . . . . ’ê·le·hā הַגִּ֣ידִי “ Tell hag·gî·ḏî לִ֔י me , lî מַה־ what mah- יֶּשׁ־ do you have yeš- לְכִי . . . lə·ḵī בַּבָּ֑יִת in the house ? ” bab·bā·yiṯ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר She answered , wat·tō·mer לְשִׁפְחָתְךָ֥ “ Your servant lə·šip̄·ḥā·ṯə·ḵā אֵ֣ין has nothing ’ên כֹל֙ . . . ḵōl בַּבַּ֔יִת in the house bab·ba·yiṯ כִּ֖י vvv kî אִם־ but ’im- אָס֥וּךְ a jar ’ā·sūḵ שָֽׁמֶן׃ of oil . ” šā·men 2 Kings 4:3 לְכִ֨י “ Go , ” lə·ḵî וַיֹּ֗אמֶר said [Elisha] , way·yō·mer שַׁאֲלִי־ “ borrow ša·’ă·lî- לָ֤ךְ lāḵ כֵּלִים֙ jars , kê·lîm רֵקִ֖ים [even] empty rê·qîm כֵּלִ֥ים ones , kê·lîm מִן־ from min- הַח֔וּץ vvv ha·ḥūṣ מֵאֵ֖ת vvv mê·’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- שִׁכְנָכֵי your neighbors . šiḵ·nå̄·ḵē אַל־ Do not ’al- תַּמְעִֽיטִי׃ gather just a few . tam·‘î·ṭî 2 Kings 4:4 וּבָ֗את Then go inside , ū·ḇāṯ וְסָגַ֤רְתְּ shut wə·sā·ḡart הַדֶּ֙לֶת֙ the door had·de·leṯ בַּעֲדֵ֣ךְ behind you ba·‘ă·ḏêḵ וּבְעַד־ and ū·ḇə·‘aḏ- בָּנַ֔יִךְ your sons , bā·na·yiḵ וְיָצַ֕קְתְּ and pour wə·yā·ṣaqt עַ֥ל oil into ‘al כָּל־ all kāl- הָאֵ֑לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הַכֵּלִ֖ים jars , hak·kê·lîm וְהַמָּלֵ֖א setting the full ones wə·ham·mā·lê תַּסִּֽיעִי׃ aside . ” tas·sî·‘î 2 Kings 4:5 וַתֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ So she left wat·tê·leḵ מֵֽאִתּ֔וֹ him , mê·’it·tōw וַתִּסְגֹּ֣ר and after she had shut wat·tis·gōr הַדֶּ֔לֶת the door had·de·leṯ בַּעֲדָ֖הּ behind her ba·‘ă·ḏāh וּבְעַ֣ד and ū·ḇə·‘aḏ בָּנֶ֑יהָ her sons , bā·ne·hā הֵ֛ם they hêm מַגִּשִׁ֥ים kept bringing [jars] mag·gi·šîm אֵלֶ֖יהָ to her , ’ê·le·hā וְהִ֥יא and she wə·hî מֵיצָקֶת׃ kept pouring . mē·ṣå̄·qɛṯ 2 Kings 4:6 וַיְהִ֣י׀ When way·hî הַכֵּלִ֗ים all the jars hak·kê·lîm כִּמְלֹ֣את were full , kim·lōṯ וַתֹּ֤אמֶר she said wat·tō·mer אֶל־ to ’el-
