אִם־ no ’im- גּ֤וֹי nation gō·w וּמַמְלָכָה֙ or kingdom ū·mam·lā·ḵāh אֲ֠שֶׁר where ’ă·šer אֲדֹנִ֥י my lord ’ă·ḏō·nî שָׁם֙ . . . šām לֹֽא־ has not lō- שָׁלַ֨ח sent šā·laḥ לְבַקֶּשְׁךָ֔ someone to search for you . lə·ḇaq·qeš·ḵā וְאָמְר֖וּ When they said , wə·’ā·mə·rū אָ֑יִן ‘ [He is] not [here] , ’ ’ā·yin הַמַּמְלָכָה֙ he made that kingdom ham·mam·lā·ḵāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַגּ֔וֹי or nation hag·gō·w כִּ֖י . . . kî וְהִשְׁבִּ֤יעַ swear wə·hiš·bî·a‘ אֶת־ that ’eṯ- לֹ֥א they had not lō יִמְצָאֶֽכָּה׃ found you . yim·ṣā·’ek·kāh 1 Kings 18:11 וְעַתָּ֖ה And now wə·‘at·tāh אַתָּ֣ה you ’at·tāh אֹמֵ֑ר say , ’ō·mêr לֵ֛ךְ ‘ Go lêḵ אֱמֹ֥ר tell ’ĕ·mōr לַאדֹנֶ֖יךָ your master [that] la·ḏō·ne·ḵā אֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃ Elijah ’ê·lî·yā·hū הִנֵּ֥ה is here ! ’ hin·nêh 1 Kings 18:12 וְהָיָ֞ה - wə·hā·yāh לֹֽא־ I do not lō- אֵדָ֔ע know ’ê·ḏā‘ עַ֚ל where ‘al אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer וְר֨וּחַ the Spirit wə·rū·aḥ יְהוָ֤ה׀ of YHWH Yah·weh יִֽשָּׂאֲךָ֙ may carry you off yiś·śā·’ă·ḵā אֲנִ֣י׀ when I ’ă·nî אֵלֵ֣ךְ leave ’ê·lêḵ מֵאִתָּ֗ךְ you . mê·’it·tāḵ וּבָ֨אתִי Then when I go ū·ḇā·ṯî לְהַגִּ֧יד [and] tell lə·hag·gîḏ לְאַחְאָ֛ב Ahab lə·’aḥ·’āḇ וְלֹ֥א and he does not wə·lō יִֽמְצָאֲךָ֖ find you , yim·ṣā·’ă·ḵā וַהֲרָגָ֑נִי he will kill me . wa·hă·rā·ḡā·nî וְעַבְדְּךָ֛ But I, your servant , wə·‘aḇ·də·ḵā יָרֵ֥א have feared yā·rê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh מִנְּעֻרָֽי׃ from my youth . min·nə·‘u·rāy 1 Kings 18:13 הֲלֹֽא־ Was it not hă·lō- הֻגַּ֤ד reported hug·gaḏ לַֽאדֹנִי֙ to my lord la·ḏō·nî אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- עָשִׂ֔יתִי I did ‘ā·śî·ṯî אִיזֶ֔בֶל when Jezebel ’î·ze·ḇel אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ בַּהֲרֹ֣ג slaughtered ba·hă·rōḡ נְבִיאֵ֣י the prophets nə·ḇî·’ê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH ? Yah·weh וָאַחְבִּא֩ I hid wā·’aḥ·bi מֵ֣אָה a hundred mê·’āh מִנְּבִיאֵ֨י prophets min·nə·ḇî·’ê יְהוָ֜ה of YHWH , Yah·weh חֲמִשִּׁ֨ים fifty ḥă·miš·šîm חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים . . . ḥă·miš·šîm אִישׁ֙ . . . ’îš אִ֗ישׁ men ’îš בַּמְּעָרָ֔ה per cave , bam·mə·‘ā·rāh וָאֲכַלְכְּלֵ֖ם and I provided them wā·’ă·ḵal·kə·lêm לֶ֥חֶם with food le·ḥem וָמָֽיִם׃ and water . wā·mā·yim 1 Kings 18:14 וְעַתָּה֙ And now wə·‘at·tāh אַתָּ֣ה you ’at·tāh אֹמֵ֔ר say , ’ō·mêr לֵ֛ךְ ‘ Go lêḵ אֱמֹ֥ר tell ’ĕ·mōr לַֽאדֹנֶ֖יךָ your lord la·ḏō·ne·ḵā אֵלִיָּ֑הוּ that Elijah ’ê·lî·yā·hū הִנֵּ֣ה is here ! ’ hin·nêh וַהֲרָגָֽנִי׃ס He will kill me ! ” wa·hă·rā·ḡā·nî 1 Kings 18:15 אֵֽלִיָּ֔הוּ Then Elijah ’ê·lî·yā·hū וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ said , way·yō·mer יְהוָ֣ה “ As surely as YHWH Yah·weh צְבָא֔וֹת of Hosts ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ
