וּבָ֙אתִי֙ to take home ū·ḇā·ṯî וַעֲשִׂיתִ֙יהוּ֙ and prepare [a meal] wa·‘ă·śî·ṯî·hū לִ֣י for myself lî וְלִבְנִ֔י and my son , wə·liḇ·nî וַאֲכַלְנֻ֖הוּ so that we may eat it wa·’ă·ḵal·nu·hū וָמָֽתְנוּ׃ and die . ” wā·mā·ṯə·nū 1 Kings 17:13 אַל־ “ Do not ’al- תִּ֣ירְאִ֔י be afraid , ” tî·rə·’î אֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙ Elijah ’ê·lî·yā·hū וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלֶ֤יהָ to her . ’ê·le·hā בֹּ֖אִי “ Go bō·’î עֲשִׂ֣י and do ‘ă·śî כִדְבָרֵ֑ךְ as you have said . ḵiḏ·ḇā·rêḵ אַ֣ךְ But ’aḵ בָרִאשֹׁנָה֙ first ḇā·ri·šō·nāh עֲשִׂי־ make ‘ă·śî- לִ֣י me lî קְטַנָּ֤ה a small qə·ṭan·nāh עֻגָ֨ה cake of bread ‘u·ḡāh מִ֠שָּׁם from [what you have] , miš·šām וְהוֹצֵ֣אתְ and bring it out wə·hō·ṣēṯ לִ֔י to me . lî בָּאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃ס Afterward , bā·’a·ḥă·rō·nāh תַּעֲשִׂ֖י make [some] ta·‘ă·śî וְלָ֣ךְ for yourself wə·lāḵ וְלִבְנֵ֔ךְ and your son , wə·liḇ·nêḵ 1 Kings 17:14 כִּ֣י for kî כֹה֩ this is what ḵōh יְהוָ֜ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אָמַ֨ר says : ’ā·mar כַּ֤ד ‘ The jar kaḏ הַקֶּ֙מַח֙ of flour haq·qe·maḥ לֹ֣א will not lō תִכְלָ֔ה be exhausted ṯiḵ·lāh וְצַפַּ֥חַת and the jug wə·ṣap·pa·ḥaṯ הַשֶּׁ֖מֶן of oil haš·še·men לֹ֣א will not lō תֶחְסָ֑ר run dry ṯeḥ·sār עַ֠ד until ‘aḏ י֧וֹם the day yō·wm יְהוָ֛ה YHWH ha·šêm תִּתֶּן sends tit·tɛn גֶּ֖שֶׁם rain ge·šem עַל־ upon ‘al- פְּנֵ֥י the face pə·nê הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ of the earth . ’” hā·’ă·ḏā·māh 1 Kings 17:15 וַתֵּ֥לֶךְ So she went wat·tê·leḵ וַתַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה and did wat·ta·‘ă·śeh כִּדְבַ֣ר according to the word kiḏ·ḇar אֵלִיָּ֑הוּ of Elijah , ’ê·lî·yā·hū וַתֹּ֧אכַל and there was food wat·tō·ḵal יָמִֽים׃ every day yā·mîm וָהִיא for Elijah wå̄·hī הוּא־ and the woman hū- וּבֵיתָ֖הּ and her household . ū·ḇê·ṯāh 1 Kings 17:16 כַּ֤ד The jar kaḏ הַקֶּ֙מַח֙ of flour haq·qe·maḥ לֹ֣א was not lō כָלָ֔תָה exhausted ḵā·lā·ṯāh וְצַפַּ֥חַת and the jug wə·ṣap·pa·ḥaṯ הַשֶּׁ֖מֶן of oil haš·še·men לֹ֣א did not lō חָסֵ֑ר run dry , ḥā·sêr כִּדְבַ֣ר according to the word kiḏ·ḇar אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֖ר had spoken dib·ber בְּיַ֥ד through bə·yaḏ אֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃פ Elijah . ’ê·lî·yā·hū 1 Kings 17:17 וַיְהִ֗י way·hî אַחַר֙ Later ’a·ḥar הַדְּבָרִ֣ים . . . had·də·ḇā·rîm הָאֵ֔לֶּה . . . , hā·’êl·leh בֶּן־ the son ben- הָאִשָּׁ֖ה of the woman hā·’iš·šāh בַּעֲלַ֣ת who owned ba·‘ă·laṯ הַבָּ֑יִת the house hab·bā·yiṯ וַיְהִ֤י . . . way·hî חָלָ֕ה became ill , ḥā·lāh חָלְיוֹ֙ and his sickness ḥā·lə·yōw חָזָ֣ק grew worse ḥā·zāq מְאֹ֔ד and worse , mə·’ōḏ
