לְאָסָ֖א Asa lə·’ā·sā מֶ֥לֶךְ king me·leḵ יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh 1 Kings 15:18 אָ֠סָא So Asa ’ā·sā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּקַּ֣ח withdrew way·yiq·qaḥ כָּל־ all kāl- הַכֶּ֨סֶף the silver hak·ke·sep̄ וְהַזָּהָ֜ב and gold wə·haz·zā·hāḇ הַֽנּוֹתָרִ֣ים׀ that remained han·nō·w·ṯā·rîm בְּאוֹצְר֣וֹת in the treasuries bə·’ō·wṣ·rō·wṯ בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- אֽוֹצְרוֹת֙ - ’ō·wṣ·rō·wṯ מֶלֶךְ the royal mɛ·lɛḵ בֵּ֣ית palace . bêṯ וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖ם He entrusted it way·yit·tə·nêm בְּיַד־ . . . bə·yaḏ- עֲבָדָ֑יו to his servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ - ham·me·leḵ אָסָ֗א - ’ā·sā וַיִּשְׁלָחֵ֞ם and sent them way·yiš·lā·ḥêm לֵאמֹֽר׃ with this message lê·mōr אֶל־ to ’el- בֶּן־ vvv ben- הֲ֠דַד Ben-hadad hă·ḏaḏ בֶּן־ son ben- טַבְרִמֹּ֤ן of Tabrimmon , ṭaḇ·rim·mōn בֶּן־ the son ben- חֶזְיוֹן֙ of Hezion ḥez·yō·wn מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ אֲרָ֔ם of Aram , ’ă·rām הַיֹּשֵׁ֥ב who was ruling hay·yō·šêḇ בְּדַמֶּ֖שֶׂק in Damascus : bə·ḏam·me·śeq 1 Kings 15:19 בְּרִית֙ “ [Let there be] a treaty bə·rîṯ בֵּינִ֣י between me and you , bê·nî וּבֵינֶ֔ךָ between ū·ḇê·ne·ḵā בֵּ֥ין . . . bên אָבִ֖י my father ’ā·ḇî וּבֵ֣ין . . . ū·ḇên אָבִ֑יךָ and your father . ’ā·ḇî·ḵā הִנֵּה֩ See , hin·nêh שָׁלַ֨חְתִּֽי I have sent šā·laḥ·tî לְךָ֥ you lə·ḵā שֹׁ֙חַד֙ a gift šō·ḥaḏ כֶּ֣סֶף of silver ke·sep̄ וְזָהָ֔ב and gold . wə·zā·hāḇ לֵ֣ךְ Now go lêḵ הָפֵ֗רָה and break hā·p̄ê·rāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּרִֽיתְךָ֙ your treaty bə·rî·ṯə·ḵā אֶת־ with ’eṯ- בַּעְשָׁ֣א Baasha ba‘·šā מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וְיַעֲלֶ֖ה so that he will withdraw wə·ya·‘ă·leh מֵעָלָֽי׃ from me . ” mê·‘ā·lāy 1 Kings 15:20 הֲדַ֜ד And Ben-hadad hă·ḏaḏ וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע listened way·yiš·ma‘ בֶּן־ ben- אֶל־ to ’el- הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ אָסָ֗א Asa ’ā·sā וַ֠יִּשְׁלַח and sent way·yiš·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שָׂרֵ֨י the commanders śā·rê הַחֲיָלִ֤ים of his armies ha·ḥă·yā·lîm אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- לוֹ֙ lōw עַל־ against ‘al- עָרֵ֣י the cities ‘ā·rê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וַיַּךְ֙ conquering way·yaḵ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עִיּ֣וֹן Ijon , ‘î·yō·wn וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- דָּ֔ן Dan , dān וְאֵ֖ת - wə·’êṯ אָבֵ֣ל vvv ’ā·ḇêl בֵּֽית־ vvv bêṯ- מַעֲכָ֑ה Abel-beth-maacah , ma·‘ă·ḵāh עַ֖ל and ‘al כָּל־ the whole kāl- אֶ֥רֶץ land ’e·reṣ נַפְתָּלִֽי׃ of Naphtali , nap̄·tā·lî וְאֵת֙ including wə·’êṯ כָּל־ the region kāl- כִּנְר֔וֹת of Chinnereth . kin·rō·wṯ
