1 Kings 14:14 יְהוָ֨ה Moreover , YHWH Yah·weh וְהֵקִים֩ will raise up wə·hê·qîm ל֥וֹ for Himself lōw מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ a king me·leḵ עַל־ over ‘al- יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer יַכְרִ֛ית will cut off yaḵ·rîṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יָרָבְעָ֖ם of Jeroboam . yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām זֶ֣ה This zeh הַיּ֑וֹם is the day — hay·yō·wm וּמֶ֖ה - ū·meh גַּם־ yes, even gam- עָֽתָּה׃ today ! ‘āt·tāh 1 Kings 14:15 יְהוָ֜ה For YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהִכָּ֨ה will strike wə·hik·kāh יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר as ka·’ă·šer הַקָּנֶה֮ a reed haq·qā·neh יָנ֣וּד is shaken yā·nūḏ בַּמַּיִם֒ in the water . bam·ma·yim וְנָתַ֣שׁ He will uproot wə·nā·ṯaš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl מֵ֠עַל from mê·‘al הַזֹּאת֙ this haz·zōṯ הַטּוֹבָ֤ה good haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh הָאֲדָמָ֨ה land hā·’ă·ḏā·māh אֲשֶׁ֤ר that ’ă·šer נָתַן֙ He gave nā·ṯan לַאֲב֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם their fathers , la·’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem וְזֵרָ֖ם and He will scatter them wə·zê·rām מֵעֵ֣בֶר beyond mê·‘ê·ḇer לַנָּהָ֑ר the Euphrates , lan·nā·hār יַ֗עַן because ya·‘an אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer עָשׂוּ֙ they have made ‘ā·śū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲשֵׁ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם their Asherah poles , ’ă·šê·rê·hem מַכְעִיסִ֖ים provoking maḵ·‘î·sîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָֽה׃ YHWH {to anger} . Yah·weh 1 Kings 14:16 וְיִתֵּ֖ן So He will give wə·yit·tên אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel over yiś·rā·’êl בִּגְלַ֞ל on account biḡ·lal חַטֹּ֤אות of the sins ḥaṭ·ṭō·wṯ יָֽרָבְעָם֙ Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer חָטָ֔א has committed ḥā·ṭā וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר - wa·’ă·šer יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ and has caused Israel yiś·rā·’êl הֶחֱטִ֖יא to commit . ” he·ḥĕ·ṭî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- 1 Kings 14:17 יָרָבְעָ֔ם Then Jeroboam’s yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām אֵ֣שֶׁת wife ’ê·šeṯ וַתָּ֙קָם֙ got up wat·tā·qām וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ and departed wat·tê·leḵ וַתָּבֹ֣א for wat·tā·ḇō תִרְצָ֑תָה Tirzah , ṯir·ṣā·ṯāh הִ֛יא and as soon as she hî בָּאָ֥ה stepped over bā·’āh בְסַף־ the threshold ḇə·sap̄- הַבַּ֖יִת of the house , hab·ba·yiṯ וְהַנַּ֥עַר the boy wə·han·na·‘ar מֵֽת׃ died . mêṯ 1 Kings 14:18 וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ And they buried way·yiq·bə·rū אֹת֛וֹ him , ’ō·ṯōw כָּל־ and all kāl- יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּסְפְּדוּ־ mourned way·yis·pə·ḏū- ל֖וֹ for him , lōw כִּדְבַ֤ר according to the word kiḏ·ḇar אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֔ר had spoken dib·ber בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- עַבְדּ֖וֹ His servant ‘aḇ·dōw אֲחִיָּ֥הוּ Ahijah ’ă·ḥî·yā·hū הַנָּבִֽיא׃ the prophet . han·nā·ḇî 1 Kings 14:19 וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer
