1 Kings 14:9 לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת You have done la·‘ă·śō·wṯ וַתָּ֣רַע more evil wat·tā·ra‘ מִכֹּ֖ל than all mik·kōl אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- הָי֣וּ came hā·yū לְפָנֶ֑יךָ before you . lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā וַתֵּ֡לֶךְ You have proceeded wat·tê·leḵ וַתַּעֲשֶׂה־ to make wat·ta·‘ă·śeh- לְּךָ֩ for yourself lə·ḵā אֲחֵרִ֤ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm אֱלֹהִ֨ים gods ’ĕ·lō·hîm וּמַסֵּכוֹת֙ and molten images ū·mas·sê·ḵō·wṯ לְהַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי to provoke lə·haḵ·‘î·sê·nî וְאֹתִ֥י Me , wə·’ō·ṯî הִשְׁלַ֖כְתָּ and you have flung Me hiš·laḵ·tā אַחֲרֵ֥י behind ’a·ḥă·rê גַוֶּֽךָ׃ס your back . ḡaw·we·ḵā 1 Kings 14:10 לָכֵ֗ן Because of all this , lā·ḵên הִנְנִ֨י behold , hin·nî מֵבִ֤יא I am bringing mê·ḇî רָעָה֙ disaster rā·‘āh אֶל־ on ’el- בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יָרָבְעָ֔ם of Jeroboam : yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י I will cut off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî לְיָֽרָבְעָם֙ from Jeroboam lə·yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām מַשְׁתִּ֣ין every male maš·tîn בְּקִ֔יר . . . , bə·qîr עָצ֥וּר both slave ‘ā·ṣūr וְעָז֖וּב and free , wə·‘ā·zūḇ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל in Israel ; bə·yiś·rā·’êl וּבִֽעַרְתִּי֙ I will burn up ū·ḇi·‘ar·tî אַחֲרֵ֣י . . . ’a·ḥă·rê בֵית־ the house ḇêṯ- יָרָבְעָ֔ם of Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer יְבַעֵ֥ר one burns up yə·ḇa·‘êr הַגָּלָ֖ל dung hag·gā·lāl עַד־ until ‘aḏ- תֻּמּֽוֹ׃ it is gone ! tum·mōw 1 Kings 14:11 לְיָֽרָבְעָ֤ם Anyone belonging to Jeroboam lə·yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām הַמֵּ֨ת who dies ham·mêṯ בָּעִיר֙ in the city bā·‘îr יֹאכְל֣וּ will be eaten yō·ḵə·lū הַכְּלָבִ֔ים by dogs , hak·kə·lā·ḇîm וְהַמֵּת֙ and anyone who dies wə·ham·mêṯ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה in the field baś·śā·ḏeh יֹאכְל֖וּ will be eaten yō·ḵə·lū ע֣וֹף by the birds ‘ō·wp̄ הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם of the air . ’ haš·šā·mā·yim כִּ֥י For kî יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֵּֽר׃ has spoken . dib·bêr 1 Kings 14:12 וְאַ֥תְּ As for you , wə·’at ק֖וּמִי get up qū·mî לְכִ֣י and go lə·ḵî לְבֵיתֵ֑ךְ home . lə·ḇê·ṯêḵ רַגְלַ֛יִךְ When your feet raḡ·la·yiḵ בְּבֹאָ֥ה enter bə·ḇō·’āh הָעִ֖ירָה the city , hā·‘î·rāh הַיָּֽלֶד׃ the child hay·yā·leḏ וּמֵ֥ת will die . ū·mêṯ 1 Kings 14:13 כָל־ All ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yiś·rā·’êl וְסָֽפְדוּ־ will mourn wə·sā·p̄ə·ḏū- ל֤וֹ for him lōw וְקָבְר֣וּ and bury wə·qā·ḇə·rū אֹת֔וֹ him . ’ō·ṯōw כִּֽי־ For kî- זֶ֣ה this [is] zeh לְבַדּ֔וֹ the only one lə·ḇad·dōw לְיָרָבְעָ֖ם belonging to Jeroboam lə·yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām יָבֹ֥א who will receive a proper burial yā·ḇō אֶל־ . . . ’el- קָ֑בֶר . . . , qā·ḇer יַ֣עַן because ya·‘an ב֞וֹ only in him ḇōw יְהוָ֛ה has YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl נִמְצָא־ found nim·ṣā- דָּבָ֣ר any dā·ḇār ט֗וֹב good ṭō·wḇ אֶל־ . . . ’el- בְּבֵ֥ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ יָרָבְעָֽם׃ of Jeroboam . yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām
