רָחְבָּ֗הּ wide , rā·ḥə·bāh וְהַתִּֽיכֹנָה֙ the middle floor wə·hat·tî·ḵō·nāh שֵׁ֤שׁ six šêš בָּֽאַמָּה֙ cubits bā·’am·māh רָחְבָּ֔הּ - , rā·ḥə·bāh וְהַ֨שְּׁלִישִׁ֔ית and the third [floor] wə·haš·šə·lî·šîṯ שֶׁ֥בַע seven še·ḇa‘ בָּאַמָּ֖ה cubits bā·’am·māh רָחְבָּ֑הּ - . rā·ḥə·bāh כִּ֡י - kî נָתַ֨ן He also placed nā·ṯan מִגְרָעוֹת֩ offset ledges miḡ·rā·‘ō·wṯ סָבִיב֙ around sā·ḇîḇ ח֔וּצָה the outside ḥū·ṣāh לַבַּ֤יִת of the temple , lab·ba·yiṯ לְבִלְתִּ֖י so that nothing lə·ḇil·tî אֲחֹ֥ז would be inserted ’ă·ḥōz הַבָּֽיִת׃ into [its] hab·bā·yiṯ בְּקִֽירוֹת־ walls . bə·qî·rō·wṯ- 1 Kings 6:7 וְהַבַּ֙יִת֙ The temple wə·hab·ba·yiṯ בְּהִבָּ֣נֹת֔וֹ was constructed bə·hib·bā·nō·ṯōw נִבְנָ֑ה using niḇ·nāh שְׁלֵמָ֥ה finished šə·lê·māh אֶֽבֶן־ stones ’e·ḇen- מַסָּ֖ע cut at the quarry , mas·sā‘ לֹֽא־ so that no lō- וּמַקָּב֤וֹת hammer ū·maq·qā·ḇō·wṯ וְהַגַּרְזֶן֙ or chisel wə·hag·gar·zen כָּל־ [or] any [other] kāl- בַרְזֶ֔ל iron ḇar·zel כְּלִ֣י tool kə·lî נִשְׁמַ֥ע was heard niš·ma‘ בַּבַּ֖יִת in the temple bab·ba·yiṯ בְּהִבָּנֹתֽוֹ׃ while it was being built . bə·hib·bā·nō·ṯōw 1 Kings 6:8 פֶּ֗תַח The entrance pe·ṯaḥ הַתִּ֣יכֹנָ֔ה to the bottom hat·tî·ḵō·nāh הַצֵּלָע֙ floor haṣ·ṣê·lā‘ אֶל־ was on ’el- הַיְמָנִ֑ית the south hay·mā·nîṯ כֶּ֥תֶף side ke·ṯep̄ הַבַּ֖יִת of the temple . hab·ba·yiṯ וּבְלוּלִּ֗ים A stairway ū·ḇə·lūl·lîm יַֽעֲלוּ֙ led up ya·‘ă·lū עַל־ to ‘al- הַתִּ֣יכֹנָ֔ה the middle level , hat·tî·ḵō·nāh וּמִן־ and from ū·min- הַתִּֽיכֹנָ֖ה [there] hat·tî·ḵō·nāh אֶל־ to ’el- הַשְּׁלִשִֽׁים׃ the third floor . haš·šə·li·šîm 1 Kings 6:9 וַיִּ֥בֶן So [Solomon] built way·yi·ḇen אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבַּ֖יִת the temple hab·ba·yiṯ וַיְכַלֵּ֑הוּ and finished it , way·ḵal·lê·hū וַיִּסְפֹּ֤ן roofing way·yis·pōn אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבַּ֙יִת֙ it hab·ba·yiṯ גֵּבִ֔ים with beams gê·ḇîm וּשְׂדֵרֹ֖ת and planks ū·śə·ḏê·rōṯ בָּאֲרָזִֽים׃ of cedar . bā·’ă·rā·zîm 1 Kings 6:10 וַיִּ֤בֶן He built way·yi·ḇen אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַיָּצוֹעַ chambers hay·yå̄·ṣō·aʿ עַל־ all along ‘al- כָּל־ . . . kāl- הַבַּ֔יִת the temple , hab·ba·yiṯ חָמֵ֥שׁ [each] five ḥā·mêš אַמּ֖וֹת cubits ’am·mō·wṯ קֽוֹמָת֑וֹ high qō·w·mā·ṯōw וַיֶּאֱחֹ֥ז and attached way·ye·’ĕ·ḥōz אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבַּ֖יִת to the temple hab·ba·yiṯ בַּעֲצֵ֥י with beams ba·‘ă·ṣê אֲרָזִֽים׃פ of cedar . ’ă·rā·zîm 1 Kings 6:11 דְּבַר־ Then the word də·ḇar- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַֽיְהִי֙ came way·hî אֶל־ to ’el- שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה Solomon , šə·lō·mōh לֵאמֹֽר׃ saying : lê·mōr 1 Kings 6:12 הַזֶּ֜ה “ As for this haz·zeh הַבַּ֨יִת temple hab·ba·yiṯ אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer-
