1 Kings 6:18 וְאֶ֤רֶז The cedar wə·’e·rez אֶל־ . . . ’el- פְּנִ֔ימָה paneling inside pə·nî·māh הַבַּ֙יִת֙ the temple hab·ba·yiṯ מִקְלַ֣עַת was carved miq·la·‘aṯ פְּקָעִ֔ים with gourds pə·qā·‘îm וּפְטוּרֵ֖י and open ū·p̄ə·ṭū·rê צִצִּ֑ים flowers . ṣiṣ·ṣîm הַכֹּ֣ל Everything hak·kōl אֶ֔רֶז was cedar ; ’e·rez אֵ֥ין not ’ên אֶ֖בֶן a stone ’e·ḇen נִרְאָֽה׃ could be seen . nir·’āh 1 Kings 6:19 הֵכִ֑ין [Solomon] also prepared hê·ḵîn וּדְבִ֧יר the inner sanctuary ū·ḏə·ḇîr בְּתוֹךְ־ within bə·ṯō·wḵ- הַבַּ֛יִת the temple hab·ba·yiṯ מִפְּנִ֖ימָה . . . mip·pə·nî·māh לְתִתֵּ֣ן to set lə·ṯit·tên אֲר֖וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn בְּרִ֥ית of the covenant bə·rîṯ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH Yah·weh שָׁ֔ם there . šām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- 1 Kings 6:20 וְלִפְנֵ֣י The inner wə·lip̄·nê הַדְּבִ֡יר sanctuary had·də·ḇîr עֶשְׂרִים֩ [was] twenty ‘eś·rîm אַמָּ֨ה cubits ’am·māh אֹ֜רֶךְ long , ’ō·reḵ וְעֶשְׂרִ֧ים twenty wə·‘eś·rîm אַמָּ֣ה cubits ’am·māh רֹ֗חַב wide , rō·ḥaḇ וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים and twenty wə·‘eś·rîm אַמָּה֙ cubits ’am·māh קֽוֹמָת֔וֹ high . qō·w·mā·ṯōw וַיְצַפֵּ֖הוּ He overlaid [the inside] way·ṣap·pê·hū סָג֑וּר with pure sā·ḡūr זָהָ֣ב gold , zā·hāḇ וַיְצַ֥ף and he also overlaid way·ṣap̄ מִזְבֵּ֖חַ the altar miz·bê·aḥ אָֽרֶז׃ of cedar . ’ā·rez 1 Kings 6:21 שְׁלֹמֹ֧ה So Solomon šə·lō·mōh אֶת־ ’eṯ- וַיְצַ֨ף overlaid way·ṣap̄ מִפְּנִ֖ימָה the inside mip·pə·nî·māh הַבַּ֛יִת of the temple hab·ba·yiṯ סָג֑וּר with pure sā·ḡūr זָהָ֣ב gold , zā·hāḇ וַיְעַבֵּ֞ר and he extended way·‘ab·bêr זָהָב֙ gold zā·hāḇ בְּרַתִּיקוֹת chains bə·rat·tī·qōṯ לִפְנֵ֣י across the front lip̄·nê הַדְּבִ֔יר of the inner sanctuary , had·də·ḇîr וַיְצַפֵּ֖הוּ which was overlaid way·ṣap·pê·hū זָהָֽב׃ with gold . zā·hāḇ 1 Kings 6:22 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- צִפָּ֥ה So he overlaid ṣip·pāh זָהָ֖ב with gold zā·hāḇ כָּל־ the whole interior kāl- הַבַּ֛יִת of the temple , hab·ba·yiṯ עַד־ until ‘aḏ- כָּל־ everything kāl- הַבָּ֑יִת . . . hab·bā·yiṯ תֹּ֣ם was completely finished . tōm צִפָּ֥ה He also overlaid ṣip·pāh זָהָֽב׃ with gold zā·hāḇ וְכָל־ the entire wə·ḵāl הַמִּזְבֵּ֥חַ altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ אֲ that belonged to ’ăšer- לַדְּבִ֖יר the inner sanctuary . lad·də·ḇîr 1 Kings 6:23 בַּדְּבִ֔יר In the inner sanctuary bad·də·ḇîr וַיַּ֣עַשׂ he made way·ya·‘aś שְׁנֵ֥י two šə·nê כְרוּבִ֖ים cherubim , ḵə·rū·ḇîm עֶ֥שֶׂר [each] ten ‘e·śer אַמּ֖וֹת cubits ’am·mō·wṯ קוֹמָתֽוֹ׃ high , qō·w·mā·ṯōw שָׁ֑מֶן out of olive šā·men עֲצֵי־ wood . ‘ă·ṣê- 1 Kings 6:24 כְּנַ֤ף One wing kə·nap̄ הָֽאֶחָ֔ת of the first hā·’e·ḥāṯ
