דָּוִ֗ד So David dā·wiḏ וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ went way·yê·leḵ אֲר֨וֹן and had the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָאֱלֹהִ֜ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיַּעַל֩ brought up way·ya·‘al אֶת־ ’eṯ- מִבֵּ֨ית from the house mib·bêṯ עֹבֵ֥ד vvv ‘ō·ḇêḏ אֱדֹ֛ם of Obed-edom ’ĕ·ḏōm עִ֥יר into the City ‘îr דָּוִ֖ד of David dā·wiḏ בְּשִׂמְחָֽה׃ with rejoicing . bə·śim·ḥāh 2 Samuel 6:13 וַיְהִ֗י - way·hî כִּ֧י When kî נֹשְׂאֵ֥י those carrying nō·śə·’ê אֲרוֹן־ the ark ’ă·rō·wn- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh צָעֲד֛וּ had advanced ṣā·‘ă·ḏū שִׁשָּׁ֣ה six šiš·šāh צְעָדִ֑ים paces , ṣə·‘ā·ḏîm וַיִּזְבַּ֥ח he sacrificed way·yiz·baḥ שׁ֖וֹר an ox šō·wr וּמְרִֽיא׃ and a fattened calf . ū·mə·rî 2 Samuel 6:14 וְדָוִ֛ד And David , wə·ḏā·wiḏ וְדָוִ֕ד - wə·ḏā·wiḏ חָג֖וּר wearing ḥā·ḡūr בָּֽד׃ a linen bāḏ אֵפ֥וֹד ephod , ’ê·p̄ō·wḏ מְכַרְכֵּ֥ר danced mə·ḵar·kêr בְּכָל־ with all bə·ḵāl עֹ֖ז his might ‘ōz לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh 2 Samuel 6:15 וְדָוִד֙ while he wə·ḏā·wiḏ וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl בֵּ֣ית the house bêṯ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl מַעֲלִ֖ים brought up ma·‘ă·lîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh בִּתְרוּעָ֖ה with shouting biṯ·rū·‘āh וּבְק֥וֹל and the sounding ū·ḇə·qō·wl שׁוֹפָֽר׃ of the ram’s horn . šō·w·p̄ār 2 Samuel 6:16 וְהָיָה֙ - wə·hā·yāh אֲר֣וֹן As the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh בָּ֖א was entering bā עִ֣יר the City ‘îr דָּוִ֑ד of David , dā·wiḏ שָׁא֜וּל Saul’s šā·’ūl בַּת־ daughter baṯ- וּמִיכַ֨ל Michal ū·mî·ḵal נִשְׁקְפָ֣ה׀ looked down niš·qə·p̄āh בְּעַ֣ד from bə·‘aḏ הַחַלּ֗וֹן a window ha·ḥal·lō·wn וַתֵּ֨רֶא and saw wat·tê·re אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ דָּוִד֙ David dā·wiḏ מְפַזֵּ֤ז leaping mə·p̄az·zêz וּמְכַרְכֵּר֙ and dancing ū·mə·ḵar·kêr לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh וַתִּ֥בֶז and she despised wat·ti·ḇez ל֖וֹ him lōw בְּלִבָּֽהּ׃ in her heart . bə·lib·bāh 2 Samuel 6:17 וַיָּבִ֜אוּ So they brought way·yā·ḇi·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיַּצִּ֤גוּ and set way·yaṣ·ṣi·ḡū אֹתוֹ֙ it ’ō·ṯōw בִּמְקוֹמ֔וֹ in its place bim·qō·w·mōw בְּת֣וֹךְ inside bə·ṯō·wḵ הָאֹ֔הֶל the tent hā·’ō·hel אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer דָּוִ֑ד David dā·wiḏ נָטָה־ had pitched nā·ṭāh- ל֖וֹ for it . lōw דָּוִ֥ד Then David dā·wiḏ וַיַּ֨עַל offered way·ya·‘al עֹל֛וֹת burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·wṯ וּשְׁלָמִֽים׃ and peace offerings ū·šə·lā·mîm לִפְנֵ֥י before lip̄·nê
