וְלֹ֣א no wə·lō זֹ֣את׀ . . . zōṯ לְךָ֡ lə·ḵā לְפוּקָה֩ remorse lə·p̄ū·qāh וּלְמִכְשׁ֨וֹל or guilt ū·lə·miḵ·šō·wl לֵ֜ב of conscience lêḇ חִנָּ֔ם over needless ḥin·nām וְלִשְׁפָּךְ־ bloodshed wə·liš·pāḵ- דָּם֙ . . . dām אֲדֹנִ֖י [and] ’ă·ḏō·nî ל֑וֹ - lōw וּלְהוֹשִׁ֥יעַ revenge . ū·lə·hō·wō·šî·a‘ יְהוָה֙ And when YHWH Yah·weh וְהֵיטִ֤ב has dealt well wə·hê·ṭiḇ לַֽאדֹנִ֔י with my lord , la·ḏō·nî וְזָכַרְתָּ֖ may you remember wə·zā·ḵar·tā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲמָתֶֽךָ׃ס your maidservant .” ’ă·mā·ṯe·ḵā 1 Samuel 25:32 דָּוִ֖ד Then David dā·wiḏ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer לַאֲבִיגַ֑ל to Abigail , la·’ă·ḇî·ḡal בָּר֤וּךְ “ Blessed [be] bā·rūḵ יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אֲשֶׁ֧ר who ’ă·šer שְׁלָחֵ֛ךְ sent you šə·lā·ḥêḵ לִקְרָאתִֽי׃ to meet me liq·rā·ṯî הַזֶּ֖ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day ! hay·yō·wm 1 Samuel 25:33 וּבָר֥וּךְ Blessed [is] ū·ḇā·rūḵ טַעְמֵ֖ךְ your discernment , ṭa‘·mêḵ וּבְרוּכָ֣ה and blessed [are] ū·ḇə·rū·ḵāh אָ֑תְּ you , ’āt אֲשֶׁ֨ר because ’ă·šer הַיּ֤וֹם today hay·yō·wm הַזֶּה֙ . . . haz·zeh מִבּ֣וֹא . . . mib·bō·w כְּלִתִ֜נִי you kept me kə·li·ṯi·nî בְדָמִ֔ים from bloodshed ḇə·ḏā·mîm וְהֹשֵׁ֥עַ and from avenging myself wə·hō·šê·a‘ יָדִ֖י by my own hand yā·ḏî לִֽי׃ . . . . lî 1 Samuel 25:34 וְאוּלָ֗ם Otherwise , wə·’ū·lām יְהוָה֙ as surely as YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl חַי־ lives , ḥay- אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer מְנָעַ֔נִי has restrained me mə·nā·‘a·nî מֵהָרַ֖ע from harming mê·hā·ra‘ אֹתָ֑ךְ you , ’ō·ṯāḵ כִּ֣י׀ if you had not kî לוּלֵ֣י . . . lū·lê וַתָּבֹאתִי come wat·tå̄·ḇō·ṯī מִהַ֗רְתְּ quickly mi·hart לִקְרָאתִ֔י to meet me , liq·rā·ṯî כִּ֣י then surely kî אִם־ no ’im- מַשְׁתִּ֥ין male maš·tîn לְנָבָ֛ל belonging to Nabal lə·nā·ḇāl נוֹתַ֧ר would have been left alive nō·w·ṯar עַד־ by ‘aḏ- הַבֹּ֖קֶר morning hab·bō·qer א֥וֹר light ’ō·wr בְּקִֽיר׃ - .” bə·qîr 1 Samuel 25:35 דָּוִד֙ Then David dā·wiḏ אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ וַיִּקַּ֤ח accepted way·yiq·qaḥ מִיָּדָ֔הּ from her hand mî·yā·ḏāh אֲשֶׁר־ what ’ă·šer- הֵבִ֖יאָה she had brought hê·ḇî·’āh ל֑וֹ him , lōw אָמַ֗ר and he said ’ā·mar וְלָ֣הּ to her , wə·lāh עֲלִ֤י “ Go ‘ă·lî לְבֵיתֵ֔ךְ home lə·ḇê·ṯêḵ לְשָׁלוֹם֙ in peace . lə·šā·lō·wm רְאִי֙ See , rə·’î שָׁמַ֣עְתִּי I have heeded šā·ma‘·tî בְקוֹלֵ֔ךְ your voice ḇə·qō·w·lêḵ וָאֶשָּׂ֖א and granted your request wā·’eś·śā פָּנָֽיִךְ׃ . . . .” pā·nā·yiḵ 1 Samuel 25:36 אֲבִיגַ֣יִל׀ When Abigail ’ă·ḇî·ḡa·yil וַתָּבֹ֣א returned wat·tā·ḇō
