1 Samuel 19:16 הַמַּלְאָכִ֔ים And when the messengers ham·mal·’ā·ḵîm וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ entered , way·yā·ḇō·’ū וְהִנֵּ֥ה there was wə·hin·nêh הַתְּרָפִ֖ים the idol hat·tə·rā·p̄îm אֶל־ in ’el- הַמִּטָּ֑ה the bed ham·miṭ·ṭāh וּכְבִ֥יר with the quilt ū·ḵə·ḇîr הָעִזִּ֖ים of goats’ [hair] hā·‘iz·zîm מְרַאֲשֹׁתָֽיו׃ on its head . mə·ra·’ă·šō·ṯāw 1 Samuel 19:17 שָׁא֜וּל And Saul šā·’ūl וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ - ’el- מִיכַ֗ל to Michal , mî·ḵal לָ֤מָּה “ Why lām·māh רִמִּיתִ֔נִי did you deceive me rim·mî·ṯi·nî כָּ֙כָה֙ like this ? kā·ḵāh אֹיְבִ֖י You sent my enemy ’ō·yə·ḇî וַתְּשַׁלְּחִ֥י away wat·tə·šal·lə·ḥî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּמָּלֵ֑ט and he has escaped !” way·yim·mā·lêṭ מִיכַל֙ Michal mî·ḵal אֶל־ . . . ’el- וַתֹּ֤אמֶר replied wat·tō·mer שָׁא֔וּל - , šā·’ūl הוּא־ “ He hū- אָמַ֥ר said ’ā·mar אֵלַ֛י to me , ’ê·lay שַׁלְּחִ֖נִי ‘ Help me get away , šal·lə·ḥi·nî לָמָ֥ה or lā·māh אֲמִיתֵֽךְ׃ I will kill you ! ’” ’ă·mî·ṯêḵ 1 Samuel 19:18 וְדָוִ֨ד So David wə·ḏā·wiḏ בָּרַ֜ח ran away bā·raḥ וַיִּמָּלֵ֗ט and escaped . way·yim·mā·lêṭ וַיָּבֹ֤א And he went way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ to ’el- שְׁמוּאֵל֙ Samuel šə·mū·’êl הָרָמָ֔תָה at Ramah hā·rā·mā·ṯāh וַיַּ֨גֶּד־ and told way·yag·geḏ- ל֔וֹ him lōw אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ all kāl- אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer שָׁא֑וּל Saul šā·’ūl עָֽשָׂה־ had done ‘ā·śāh- ל֖וֹ to him . lōw הוּא֙ Then he hū וּשְׁמוּאֵ֔ל and Samuel ū·šə·mū·’êl וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ went [to Naioth] way·yê·leḵ וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ and stayed way·yê·šə·ḇū בְּנֹוִית׃ [there] . bə·nō·wīṯ 1 Samuel 19:19 לְשָׁא֖וּל When Saul lə·šā·’ūl וַיֻּגַּ֥ד was told way·yug·gaḏ לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . lê·mōr הִנֵּ֣ה . . . hin·nêh דָוִ֔ד that David ḏā·wiḏ בְּנֹוִית was at Naioth bə·nō·wīṯ בָּרָמָֽה׃ in Ramah , bā·rā·māh 1 Samuel 19:20 שָׁא֣וּל he šā·’ūl וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח sent way·yiš·laḥ מַלְאָכִים֮ messengers mal·’ā·ḵîm לָקַ֣חַת to capture lā·qa·ḥaṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- דָּוִד֒ him . dā·wiḏ וַיַּ֗רְא But when they saw way·yar אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- לַהֲקַ֤ת the group la·hă·qaṯ הַנְּבִיאִים֙ of prophets han·nə·ḇî·’îm נִבְּאִ֔ים prophesying , nib·bə·’îm וּשְׁמוּאֵ֕ל with Samuel ū·šə·mū·’êl עֹמֵ֥ד . . . ‘ō·mêḏ נִצָּ֖ב leading them , niṣ·ṣāḇ ר֣וּחַ the Spirit rū·aḥ אֱלֹהִ֔ים of God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַתְּהִ֞י came wat·tə·hî עַֽל־ upon ‘al- עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם them , ‘ă·lê·hem שָׁאוּל֙ and Saul’s šā·’ūl מַלְאֲכֵ֤י messengers mal·’ă·ḵê גַּם־ also gam- וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ began to prophesy . way·yiṯ·nab·bə·’ū הֵֽמָּה׃ - hêm·māh 1 Samuel 19:21 וַיַּגִּ֣דוּ When this was reported way·yag·gi·ḏū
