הַזֶּ֔ה . . . haz·zeh כִּ֣י that kî לֹ֧א you have not lō מְצָאתֶ֛ם found mə·ṣā·ṯem מְא֑וּמָה anything mə·’ū·māh בְּיָדִ֖י in my hand .” bə·yā·ḏî עֵֽד׃פ “ He is a witness , ” ‘êḏ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר they replied . way·yō·mer 1 Samuel 12:6 שְׁמוּאֵ֖ל Then Samuel šə·mū·’êl וַיֹּ֥אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- הָעָ֑ם the people , hā·‘ām יְהוָ֗ה “ YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֤ר is the One who ’ă·šer עָשָׂה֙ appointed ‘ā·śāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֹשֶׁ֣ה Moses mō·šeh וְאֶֽת־ - wə·’eṯ- אַהֲרֹ֔ן and Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn וַאֲשֶׁ֧ר and who wa·’ă·šer הֶעֱלָ֛ה brought he·‘ĕ·lāh אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֖ם your fathers up ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem אֶת־ ’eṯ- מֵאֶ֥רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt . miṣ·rā·yim 1 Samuel 12:7 וְעַתָּ֗ה Now wə·‘at·tāh הִֽתְיַצְּב֛וּ present yourselves , hiṯ·yaṣ·ṣə·ḇū וְאִשָּׁפְטָ֥ה so that I may confront wə·’iš·šā·p̄ə·ṭāh אִתְּכֶ֖ם you ’it·tə·ḵem לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH Yah·weh אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ כָּל־ with all kāl- צִדְק֣וֹת the righteous acts ṣiḏ·qō·wṯ יְהוָ֔ה He Yah·weh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- עָשָׂ֥ה has done ‘ā·śāh אִתְּכֶ֖ם for you ’it·tə·ḵem וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- אֲבוֹתֵיכֶֽם׃ your fathers . ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem 1 Samuel 12:8 כַּֽאֲשֶׁר־ When ka·’ă·šer- יַעֲקֹ֖ב Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ בָּ֥א went bā מִצְרָ֑יִם to Egypt , miṣ·rā·yim אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙ your fathers ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem וַיִּזְעֲק֤וּ cried out way·yiz·‘ă·qū אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֔ה YHWH , Yah·weh יְהוָ֜ה and He Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח sent them way·yiš·laḥ מֹשֶׁ֣ה Moses mō·šeh וְאֶֽת־ - wə·’eṯ- אַהֲרֹ֗ן and Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn וַיּוֹצִ֤יאוּ who brought way·yō·w·ṣî·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ your fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·ḵem מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם out of Egypt mim·miṣ·ra·yim וַיֹּשִׁב֖וּם and settled them way·yō·ši·ḇūm הַזֶּֽה׃ in this haz·zeh בַּמָּק֥וֹם place . bam·mā·qō·wm 1 Samuel 12:9 וַֽיִּשְׁכְּח֖וּ But they forgot way·yiš·kə·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם their God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem וַיִּמְכֹּ֣ר and He sold way·yim·kōr אֹתָ֡ם them ’ō·ṯām בְּיַ֣ד into the hand bə·yaḏ סִֽיסְרָא֩ of Sisera sî·sə·rā שַׂר־ the commander śar- צְבָ֨א of the army ṣə·ḇā חָצ֜וֹר of Hazor , ḥā·ṣō·wr וּבְיַד־ and into the hands ū·ḇə·yaḏ- פְּלִשְׁתִּ֗ים of the Philistines pə·liš·tîm וּבְיַד֙ . . . ū·ḇə·yaḏ מֶ֣לֶךְ and the king me·leḵ מוֹאָ֔ב of Moab , mō·w·’āḇ וַיִּֽלָּחֲמ֖וּ who fought way·yil·lā·ḥă·mū בָּֽם׃ against them . bām 1 Samuel 12:10 וַיִּזְעֲק֤וּ Then they cried out way·yiz·‘ă·qū אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּאמֶר and said , way·yō·mɛr חָטָ֔אנוּ ‘ We have sinned , ḥā·ṭā·nū כִּ֤י for kî
