נֵ֤בֶל by harps , nê·ḇel וְתֹף֙ tambourines , wə·ṯōp̄ וְחָלִ֣יל flutes , wə·ḥā·lîl וְכִנּ֔וֹר and lyres , wə·ḵin·nō·wr וְהֵ֖מָּה and they wə·hêm·māh מִֽתְנַבְּאִֽים׃ will be prophesying . miṯ·nab·bə·’îm 1 Samuel 10:6 ר֣וּחַ Then the Spirit rū·aḥ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְצָלְחָ֤ה will rush wə·ṣā·lə·ḥāh עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ upon you , ‘ā·le·ḵā וְהִתְנַבִּ֖יתָ and you will prophesy wə·hiṯ·nab·bî·ṯā עִמָּ֑ם with them ; ‘im·mām וְנֶהְפַּכְתָּ֖ and you will be transformed wə·neh·paḵ·tā אַחֵֽר׃ into a different ’a·ḥêr לְאִ֥ישׁ person . lə·’îš 1 Samuel 10:7 וְהָיָ֗ה - wə·hā·yāh כִּ֥י When kî הָאֵ֖לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh לָ֑ךְ lāḵ הָאֹת֥וֹת signs hā·’ō·ṯō·wṯ תְבֹאֶינָה have come , ṯə·ḇō·ʾɛ·nå̄h עֲשֵׂ֤ה do ‘ă·śêh לְךָ֙ lə·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֣ר as the occasion ’ă·šer תִּמְצָ֣א demands , tim·ṣā יָדֶ֔ךָ . . . yā·ḏe·ḵā כִּ֥י for kî הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים God [is] hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm עִמָּֽךְ׃ with you . ‘im·māḵ 1 Samuel 10:8 וְיָרַדְתָּ֣ And you shall go wə·yā·raḏ·tā לְפָנַי֮ before me lə·p̄ā·nay הַגִּלְגָּל֒ to Gilgal , hag·gil·gāl וְהִנֵּ֤ה and surely wə·hin·nêh אָֽנֹכִי֙ I ’ā·nō·ḵî יֹרֵ֣ד will come yō·rêḏ אֵלֶ֔יךָ to you ’ê·le·ḵā לְהַעֲל֣וֹת to offer lə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ עֹל֔וֹת burnt offerings ‘ō·lō·wṯ לִזְבֹּ֖חַ and to sacrifice liz·bō·aḥ שְׁלָמִ֑ים peace offerings šə·lā·mîm זִבְחֵ֣י . . . . ziḇ·ḥê תּוֹחֵל֙ Wait tō·w·ḥêl שִׁבְעַ֨ת seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִ֤ים days yā·mîm עַד־ until ‘aḏ- בּוֹאִ֣י I come bō·w·’î אֵלֶ֔יךָ to you ’ê·le·ḵā וְהוֹדַעְתִּ֣י and show wə·hō·w·ḏa‘·tî לְךָ֔ you lə·ḵā אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ אֲשֶׁ֥ר what ’ă·šer תַּעֲשֶֽׂה׃ you are to do .” ta·‘ă·śeh 1 Samuel 10:9 וְהָיָ֗ה - wə·hā·yāh כְּהַפְנֹת֤וֹ As Saul turned kə·hap̄·nō·ṯōw שִׁכְמוֹ֙ . . . šiḵ·mōw לָלֶ֙כֶת֙ to leave lā·le·ḵeṯ מֵעִ֣ם . . . mê·‘im שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל Samuel , šə·mū·’êl אֱלֹהִ֖ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיַּהֲפָךְ־ changed way·ya·hă·p̄āḵ- ל֥וֹ [Saul’s] lōw לֵ֣ב heart , lêḇ אַחֵ֑ר . . . ’a·ḥêr כָּל־ and all kāl- הָאֹת֥וֹת the signs hā·’ō·ṯō·wṯ הָאֵ֖לֶּה . . . hā·’êl·leh וַיָּבֹ֛אוּ came to pass way·yā·ḇō·’ū הַהֽוּא׃ס that ha·hū בַּיּ֥וֹם day . bay·yō·wm 1 Samuel 10:10 וַיָּבֹ֤אוּ When Saul and his servant arrived way·yā·ḇō·’ū שָׁם֙ . . . šām הַגִּבְעָ֔תָה at Gibeah , hag·giḇ·‘ā·ṯāh וְהִנֵּ֥ה . . . wə·hin·nêh חֶֽבֶל־ a group ḥe·ḇel- נְבִאִ֖ים of prophets nə·ḇi·’îm לִקְרָאת֑וֹ met him . liq·rā·ṯōw ר֣וּחַ Then the Spirit rū·aḥ אֱלֹהִ֔ים of God ’ĕ·lō·hîm וַתִּצְלַ֤ח rushed wat·tiṣ·laḥ עָלָיו֙ upon him , ‘ā·lāw וַיִּתְנַבֵּ֖א and he prophesied way·yiṯ·nab·bê בְּתוֹכָֽם׃ along with them . bə·ṯō·w·ḵām
