1 Samuel 10:2 בְּלֶכְתְּךָ֤ When you leave bə·leḵ·tə·ḵā מֵעִמָּדִ֔י me mê·‘im·mā·ḏî הַיּוֹם֙ today , hay·yō·wm וּמָצָאתָ֩ you will find ū·mā·ṣā·ṯā שְׁנֵ֨י two šə·nê אֲנָשִׁ֜ים men ’ă·nā·šîm עִם־ at ‘im- רָחֵ֛ל Rachel’s rā·ḥêl קְבֻרַ֥ת tomb qə·ḇu·raṯ בְּצֶלְצַ֑ח in Zelzah bə·ṣel·ṣaḥ בִּגְב֥וּל on the border biḡ·ḇūl בִּנְיָמִ֖ן of Benjamin . bin·yā·min וְאָמְר֣וּ They will say wə·’ā·mə·rū אֵלֶ֗יךָ to you , ’ê·le·ḵā הָאֲתֹנוֹת֙ ‘ The donkeys hā·’ă·ṯō·nō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הָלַ֣כְתָּ you seek hā·laḵ·tā לְבַקֵּ֔שׁ . . . lə·ḇaq·qêš נִמְצְא֤וּ have been found , nim·ṣə·’ū וְהִנֵּ֨ה and now wə·hin·nêh אָבִ֙יךָ֙ your father ’ā·ḇî·ḵā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נָטַ֤שׁ has stopped nā·ṭaš דִּבְרֵ֣י worrying about diḇ·rê הָאֲתֹנ֔וֹת the donkeys hā·’ă·ṯō·nō·wṯ וְדָאַ֤ג and started worrying wə·ḏā·’aḡ לָכֶם֙ about you , lā·ḵem לֵאמֹ֔ר asking , lê·mōr מָ֥ה “ What māh אֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה should I do ’e·‘ĕ·śeh לִבְנִֽי׃ about my son ?”’ liḇ·nî 1 Samuel 10:3 וְחָלַפְתָּ֨ Then you will go wə·ḥā·lap̄·tā וָהָ֗לְאָה on wā·hā·lə·’āh מִשָּׁ֜ם from there miš·šām וּבָ֙אתָ֙ until you come ū·ḇā·ṯā עַד־ to ‘aḏ- אֵל֣וֹן the Oak ’ê·lō·wn תָּב֔וֹר of Tabor . tā·ḇō·wr שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה Three šə·lō·šāh אֲנָשִׁ֔ים men ’ă·nā·šîm עֹלִ֥ים going up ‘ō·lîm אֶל־ to ’el- הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm בֵּֽית־ vvv bêṯ- אֵ֑ל at Bethel ’êl וּמְצָא֤וּךָ will meet you ū·mə·ṣā·’ū·ḵā שָּׁם֙ there , šām אֶחָ֞ד one ’e·ḥāḏ נֹשֵׂ֣א׀ carrying nō·śê שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה three šə·lō·šāh גְדָיִ֗ים young goats , ḡə·ḏā·yîm וְאֶחָד֙ another wə·’e·ḥāḏ נֹשֵׂ֗א carrying nō·śê שְׁלֹ֙שֶׁת֙ three šə·lō·šeṯ כִּכְּר֣וֹת loaves kik·kə·rō·wṯ לֶ֔חֶם of bread , le·ḥem וְאֶחָ֥ד and another wə·’e·ḥāḏ נֹשֵׂ֖א carrying nō·śê נֵֽבֶל־ a skin nê·ḇel- יָֽיִן׃ of wine . yā·yin 1 Samuel 10:4 וְשָׁאֲל֥וּ They will greet you wə·šā·’ă·lū לְךָ֖ . . . lə·ḵā לְשָׁל֑וֹם . . . lə·šā·lō·wm וְנָתְנ֤וּ and give wə·nā·ṯə·nū לְךָ֙ you lə·ḵā שְׁתֵּי־ two šə·tê- לֶ֔חֶם [loaves] of bread , le·ḥem וְלָקַחְתָּ֖ which you will accept wə·lā·qaḥ·tā מִיָּדָֽם׃ from their hands . mî·yā·ḏām 1 Samuel 10:5 אַ֣חַר After ’a·ḥar כֵּ֗ן that kên תָּבוֹא֙ you will come tā·ḇō·w גִּבְעַ֣ת to Gibeah giḇ·‘aṯ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁר־ where ’ă·šer- שָׁ֖ם . . . šām פְלִשְׁתִּ֑ים the Philistines p̄ə·liš·tîm נְצִבֵ֣י [have] an outpost . nə·ṣi·ḇê וִיהִי֩ . . . wî·hî כְבֹאֲךָ֨ As you approach ḵə·ḇō·’ă·ḵā שָׁ֜ם . . . šām הָעִ֗יר the city , hā·‘îr וּפָגַעְתָּ֞ you will meet ū·p̄ā·ḡa‘·tā חֶ֤בֶל a group ḥe·ḇel נְבִיאִים֙ of prophets nə·ḇî·’îm יֹרְדִ֣ים coming down yō·rə·ḏîm מֵֽהַבָּמָ֔ה from the high place , mê·hab·bā·māh וְלִפְנֵיהֶ֞ם preceded wə·lip̄·nê·hem
