לֹא־ you did not lō- יָדַ֖עַתְּ know yā·ḏa·‘at תְּמ֥וֹל before tə·mō·wl שִׁלְשֽׁוֹם׃ . . . . šil·šō·wm Ruth 2:12 יְהוָ֖ה May YHWH Yah·weh יְשַׁלֵּ֥ם repay yə·šal·lêm פָּעֳלֵ֑ךְ your work , pā·‘o·lêḵ וּתְהִ֨י and may you receive ū·ṯə·hî שְׁלֵמָ֗ה a rich šə·lê·māh מַשְׂכֻּרְתֵּ֜ךְ reward maś·kur·têḵ מֵעִ֤ם from mê·‘im יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl תַּֽחַת־ under ta·ḥaṯ- אֲשֶׁר־ whose ’ă·šer- כְּנָפָֽיו׃ wings kə·nā·p̄āw בָּ֖את you have taken bāṯ לַחֲס֥וֹת refuge . ” la·ḥă·sō·wṯ Ruth 2:13 אֲדֹנִי֙ “ My lord , ” ’ă·ḏō·nî וַ֠תֹּאמֶר she said , wat·tō·mer אֶמְצָא־ “ may I continue to find ’em·ṣā- חֵ֨ן favor ḥên בְּעֵינֶ֤יךָ in your eyes , bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā כִּ֣י for kî נִֽחַמְתָּ֔נִי you have comforted ni·ḥam·tā·nî וְכִ֥י . . . wə·ḵî דִבַּ֖רְתָּ and spoken ḏib·bar·tā לֵ֣ב kindly lêḇ עַל־ to ‘al- שִׁפְחָתֶ֑ךָ your maidservant , šip̄·ḥā·ṯe·ḵā וְאָנֹכִי֙ though I wə·’ā·nō·ḵî אֶֽהְיֶ֔ה am ’eh·yeh לֹ֣א not lō כְּאַחַ֖ת like one kə·’a·ḥaṯ שִׁפְחֹתֶֽיךָ׃ of your servant girls . ” šip̄·ḥō·ṯe·ḵā Ruth 2:14 לְעֵ֣ת At mealtime lə·‘êṯ הָאֹ֗כֶל . . . hā·’ō·ḵel בֹ֜עַז Boaz ḇō·‘az וַיֹּאמֶר֩ said way·yō·mer לָ֨ה to her , lāh גֹּ֤שִֽׁי “ Come over gō·šî הֲלֹם֙ here ; hă·lōm וְאָכַ֣לְתְּ have wə·’ā·ḵalt מִן־ some min- הַלֶּ֔חֶם bread hal·le·ḥem וְטָבַ֥לְתְּ and dip wə·ṭā·ḇalt פִּתֵּ֖ךְ it pit·têḵ בַּחֹ֑מֶץ into the vinegar sauce . ” ba·ḥō·meṣ וַתֵּ֙שֶׁב֙ So she sat down wat·tê·šeḇ מִצַּ֣ד beside miṣ·ṣaḏ הַקּֽוֹצְרִ֔ים the harvesters , haq·qō·wṣ·rîm וַיִּצְבָּט־ and he offered way·yiṣ·bāṭ- לָ֣הּ her lāh קָלִ֔י roasted grain , qā·lî וַתֹּ֥אכַל and she ate wat·tō·ḵal וַתִּשְׂבַּ֖ע and was satisfied wat·tiś·ba‘ וַתֹּתַֽר׃ and had some left over . wat·tō·ṯar Ruth 2:15 וַתָּ֖קָם When [Ruth] got up wat·tā·qām לְלַקֵּ֑ט to glean , lə·laq·qêṭ בֹּ֨עַז Boaz bō·‘az אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְצַו֩ ordered way·ṣaw נְעָרָ֜יו his young men nə·‘ā·rāw לֵאמֹ֗ר . . . , lê·mōr גַּ֣ם “ Even if gam תְּלַקֵּ֖ט she gathers tə·laq·qêṭ בֵּ֧ין among bên הָֽעֳמָרִ֛ים the sheaves , hā·‘o·mā·rîm וְלֹ֥א do not wə·lō תַכְלִימֽוּהָ׃ insult her . ṯaḵ·lî·mū·hā Ruth 2:16 וְגַ֛ם Rather , wə·ḡam שֹׁל־ pull out šōl- תָּשֹׁ֥לּוּ . . . tā·šōl·lū לָ֖הּ for her lāh מִן־ [some stalks] from min- הַצְּבָתִ֑ים the bundles haṣ·ṣə·ḇā·ṯîm וַעֲזַבְתֶּ֥ם and leave them wa·‘ă·zaḇ·tem וְלִקְּטָ֖ה for her to gather . wə·liq·qə·ṭāh וְלֹ֥א Do not wə·lō תִגְעֲרוּ־ rebuke ṯiḡ·‘ă·rū- בָֽהּ׃ her . ” ḇāh
