וַתָּב֣וֹא So she came out wat·tā·ḇō·w וַֽתַּעֲמ֗וֹד and has continued wat·ta·‘ă·mō·wḏ מֵאָ֤ז from mê·’āz הַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ morning hab·bō·qer וְעַד־ until wə·‘aḏ- עַ֔תָּה now , ‘at·tāh זֶ֛ה except zeh שִׁבְתָּ֥הּ that she rested šiḇ·tāh מְעָֽט׃ a short time mə·‘āṭ הַבַּ֖יִת in the shelter . ” hab·ba·yiṯ Ruth 2:8 בֹּ֨עַז Then Boaz bō·‘az וַיֹּאמֶר֩ said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- ר֜וּת Ruth , rūṯ הֲל֧וֹא “ - hă·lō·w שָׁמַ֣עַתְּ Listen , šā·ma·‘at בִּתִּ֗י my daughter . bit·tî אַל־ Do not ’al- תֵּלְכִי֙ go tê·lə·ḵî לִלְקֹט֙ and glean lil·qōṭ אַחֵ֔ר in another ’a·ḥêr בְּשָׂדֶ֣ה field , bə·śā·ḏeh וְגַ֛ם and wə·ḡam לֹ֥א do not lō תַעֲבוּרִ֖י go away ṯa·‘ă·ḇū·rî מִזֶּ֑ה from this [place] , miz·zeh וְכֹ֥ה but stay here wə·ḵōh תִדְבָּקִ֖ין close ṯiḏ·bā·qîn עִם־ to ‘im- נַעֲרֹתָֽי׃ my servant girls . na·‘ă·rō·ṯāy Ruth 2:9 עֵינַ֜יִךְ [Let] your eyes [be on] ‘ê·na·yiḵ אֲשֶׁר־ [the] ’ă·šer- בַּשָּׂדֶ֤ה field baś·śā·ḏeh יִקְצֹרוּן֙ they are harvesting , yiq·ṣō·rūn וְהָלַ֣כְתִּ and follow along wə·hå̄·laḵ·ti אַחֲרֵיהֶ֔ן after [these girls] . ’a·ḥă·rê·hen הֲל֥וֹא Indeed , hă·lō·w צִוִּ֛יתִי I have ordered ṣiw·wî·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַנְּעָרִ֖ים the young men han·nə·‘ā·rîm לְבִלְתִּ֣י not lə·ḇil·tî נָגְעֵ֑ךְ to touch you . nā·ḡə·‘êḵ וְצָמִ֗ת And when you are thirsty , wə·ṣā·miṯ וְהָלַכְתְּ֙ go wə·hā·laḵt אֶל־ . . . ’el- וְשָׁתִ֕ית and drink wə·šā·ṯîṯ מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר from mê·’ă·šer הַכֵּלִ֔ים the jars hak·kê·lîm הַנְּעָרִֽים׃ the young men han·nə·‘ā·rîm יִשְׁאֲב֖וּן have filled . ” yiš·’ă·ḇūn Ruth 2:10 וַתִּפֹּל֙ At this, she fell wat·tip·pōl עַל־ on ‘al- פָּנֶ֔יהָ her face , pā·ne·hā וַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ bowing low wat·tiš·ta·ḥū אָ֑רְצָה to the ground , ’ā·rə·ṣāh וַתֹּ֣אמֶר and said wat·tō·mer אֵלָ֗יו to him , ’ê·lāw מַדּוּעַ֩ “ Why mad·dū·a‘ מָצָ֨אתִי have I found mā·ṣā·ṯî חֵ֤ן such favor ḥên בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ in your eyes bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā לְהַכִּירֵ֔נִי that you should take notice of me , lə·hak·kî·rê·nî וְאָּנֹכִ֖י even though I [am] wəʾ·ʾå̄·nō·ḵī נָכְרִיָּֽה׃ a foreigner ? ” nā·ḵə·rî·yāh Ruth 2:11 בֹּ֙עַז֙ Boaz bō·‘az וַיַּ֤עַן replied way·ya·‘an וַיֹּ֣אמֶר . . . way·yō·mer לָ֔הּ . . . , lāh הֻגֵּ֨ד “ I have been made fully aware hug·gêḏ הֻגַּ֜ד . . . hug·gaḏ לִ֗י . . . lî כֹּ֤ל of all kōl אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- עָשִׂית֙ you have done ‘ā·śîṯ אֶת־ for ’eṯ- חֲמוֹתֵ֔ךְ your mother-in-law ḥă·mō·w·ṯêḵ אַחֲרֵ֖י since ’a·ḥă·rê מ֣וֹת the death mō·wṯ אִישֵׁ֑ךְ of your husband , ’î·šêḵ וַתַּֽעַזְבִ֞י how you left wat·ta·‘az·ḇî אָּבִ֣יךְ your father ʾå̄·ḇīḵ וְאִמֵּ֗ךְ and mother wə·’im·mêḵ וְאֶ֙רֶץ֙ and the land wə·’e·reṣ מֽוֹלַדְתֵּ֔ךְ of your birth , mō·w·laḏ·têḵ וַתֵּ֣לְכִ֔י and how you came wat·tê·lə·ḵî אֶל־ to ’el- עַ֕ם a people ‘am אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer
