בֵּ֥ית vvv bêṯ בָּרָ֖ה far as Beth-barah bā·rāh וְאֶת־ - . wə·’eṯ- Judges 7:25 וַֽיִּלְכְּד֡וּ They also captured way·yil·kə·ḏū עֹרֵ֣ב Oreb ‘ō·rêḇ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- זְאֵ֗ב and Zeeb , zə·’êḇ שְׁנֵֽי־ the two šə·nê- שָׂרֵ֨י princes śā·rê מִדְיָ֜ן of Midian ; miḏ·yān אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּהַרְג֨וּ and they killed way·ya·har·ḡū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עוֹרֵ֤ב Oreb ‘ō·w·rêḇ בְּצוּר־ at the rock bə·ṣūr- עוֹרֵב֙ of Oreb ‘ō·w·rêḇ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- זְאֵב֙ and Zeeb zə·’êḇ הָרְג֣וּ . . . hā·rə·ḡū בְיֶֽקֶב־ at the winepress ḇə·ye·qeḇ- זְאֵ֔ב of Zeeb . zə·’êḇ וַֽיִּרְדְּפ֖וּ So they pursued way·yir·də·p̄ū אֶל־ ’el- מִדְיָ֑ן the Midianites miḏ·yān הֵבִ֙יאוּ֙ [and] brought hê·ḇî·’ū וְרֹאשׁ־ the heads wə·rōš- עֹרֵ֣ב of Oreb ‘ō·rêḇ וּזְאֵ֔ב and Zeeb ū·zə·’êḇ אֶל־ to ’el- גִּדְע֔וֹן Gideon giḏ·‘ō·wn מֵעֵ֖בֶר on the other side mê·‘ê·ḇer לַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ of the Jordan . lay·yar·dên Judges 8:1 אִ֣ישׁ Then the men ’îš אֶפְרַ֗יִם of Ephraim ’ep̄·ra·yim וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ said way·yō·mə·rū אֵלָ֜יו to [Gideon] , ’ê·lāw מָֽה־ “ Why māh- הַדָּבָ֤ר . . . had·dā·ḇār עָשִׂ֣יתָ have you done ‘ā·śî·ṯā הַזֶּה֙ this haz·zeh לָּ֔נוּ to us ? lā·nū לְבִלְתִּי֙ Why did you fail lə·ḇil·tî קְרֹ֣אות to call qə·rō·wṯ לָ֔נוּ us lā·nū כִּ֥י when kî הָלַ֖כְתָּ you went hā·laḵ·tā לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם to fight lə·hil·lā·ḥêm בְּמִדְיָ֑ן against Midian ? ” bə·miḏ·yān וַיְרִיב֥וּן And they contended way·rî·ḇūn אִתּ֖וֹ with him violently ’it·tōw בְּחָזְקָֽה׃ . . . . bə·ḥā·zə·qāh Judges 8:2 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר But [Gideon] answered way·yō·mer אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם them , ’ă·lê·hem עַתָּ֖ה “ Now ‘at·tāh מֶה־ what meh- עָשִׂ֥יתִי have I accomplished ‘ā·śî·ṯî כָּכֶ֑ם compared to you ? kā·ḵem הֲל֗וֹא Are not hă·lō·w עֹלְל֥וֹת the gleanings ‘ō·lə·lō·wṯ אֶפְרַ֖יִם of Ephraim ’ep̄·ra·yim ט֛וֹב better ṭō·wḇ מִבְצִ֥יר than the grape harvest miḇ·ṣîr אֲבִיעֶֽזֶר׃ of Abiezer ? ’ă·ḇî·‘e·zer Judges 8:3 אֱלֹהִ֜ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- נָתַ֨ן has delivered nā·ṯan עֹרֵ֣ב Oreb ‘ō·rêḇ וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- זְאֵ֔ב Zeeb , zə·’êḇ שָׂרֵ֤י the two princes śā·rê מִדְיָן֙ of Midian , miḏ·yān בְּיֶדְכֶם֩ into your hand . bə·yeḏ·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וּמַה־ What ū·mah- יָּכֹ֖לְתִּי was I able yā·ḵō·lə·tî עֲשׂ֣וֹת to do ‘ă·śō·wṯ כָּכֶ֑ם compared to you ? ” kā·ḵem אָ֗ז . . . ’āz בְּדַבְּר֖וֹ When he had said bə·ḏab·bə·rōw הַדָּבָ֥ר . . . had·dā·ḇār הַזֶּֽה׃ this , haz·zeh רוּחָם֙ their anger rū·ḥām מֵֽעָלָ֔יו against him mê·‘ā·lāw רָפְתָ֤ה subsided . rā·p̄ə·ṯāh Judges 8:4 גִדְע֖וֹן Then Gideon ḡiḏ·‘ō·wn
