מַחֲנֵ֣ה the camp ma·ḥă·nêh יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיֹּ֣אמֶר and said , way·yō·mer ק֔וּמוּ “ Get up , qū·mū כִּֽי־ for kî- יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh נָתַ֧ן has delivered nā·ṯan מַחֲנֵ֥ה the camp ma·ḥă·nêh מִדְיָֽן׃ of Midian miḏ·yān בְּיֶדְכֶ֖ם into your hand . ” bə·yeḏ·ḵem אֶת־ - ’eṯ- Judges 7:16 וַיַּ֛חַץ And he divided way·ya·ḥaṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁלֹשׁ־ the three šə·lōš- מֵא֥וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ הָאִ֖ישׁ men hā·’îš שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה into three šə·lō·šāh רָאשִׁ֑ים companies rā·šîm וַיִּתֵּ֨ן and gave way·yit·tên כֻּלָּם֙ each man kul·lām שׁוֹפָר֤וֹת a ram’s horn šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ בְּיַד־ in one hand bə·yaḏ- רֵקִ֔ים and a large rê·qîm וְכַדִּ֣ים jar [in the other] , wə·ḵad·dîm בְּת֥וֹךְ containing bə·ṯō·wḵ וְלַפִּדִ֖ים a torch wə·lap·pi·ḏîm הַכַּדִּֽים׃ - . hak·kad·dîm Judges 7:17 תִרְא֖וּ “ Watch me ṯir·’ū תַּעֲשׂ֑וּ and do ta·‘ă·śū וְהִנֵּ֨ה . . . wə·hin·nêh וְכֵ֣ן as I do , ” wə·ḵên וַיֹּ֣אמֶר [Gideon] said . way·yō·mer אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם . . . ’ă·lê·hem מִמֶּ֥נִּי . . . mim·men·nî אָנֹכִ֥י “ When I ’ā·nō·ḵî בָא֙ come ḇā בִּקְצֵ֣ה to the outskirts biq·ṣêh הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה of the camp , ham·ma·ḥă·neh וְהָיָ֥ה . . . wə·hā·yāh אֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה do ’e·‘ĕ·śeh כֵּ֥ן . . . kên כַאֲשֶׁר־ exactly as ḵa·’ă·šer- תַּעֲשֽׂוּן׃ I do . ta·‘ă·śūn Judges 7:18 אָנֹכִ֖י When I ’ā·nō·ḵî וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֣ר who [are] ’ă·šer אִתִּ֑י with me ’it·tî וְתָקַעְתִּי֙ blow wə·ṯā·qa‘·tî בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר our horns , baš·šō·w·p̄ār אַתֶּ֗ם then you ’at·tem גַּם־ are also gam- וּתְקַעְתֶּ֨ם to blow ū·ṯə·qa‘·tem בַּשּׁוֹפָר֜וֹת your horns baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ כָּל־ from all kāl- סְבִיבוֹת֙ around sə·ḇî·ḇō·wṯ הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה the camp ham·ma·ḥă·neh וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם and shout , wa·’ă·mar·tem לַיהוָ֥ה ‘ For YHWH Yah·weh וּלְגִדְעֽוֹן׃פ and for Gideon ! ’” ū·lə·ḡiḏ·‘ō·wn Judges 7:19 גִ֠דְעוֹן Gideon ḡiḏ·‘ō·wn וּמֵאָה־ and the hundred ū·mê·’āh- אִ֨ישׁ men ’îš אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אִתּ֜וֹ with him ’it·tōw וַיָּבֹ֣א reached way·yā·ḇō בִּקְצֵ֣ה the outskirts biq·ṣêh הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֗ה of the camp ham·ma·ḥă·neh רֹ֚אשׁ at the beginning rōš הַתִּֽיכוֹנָ֔ה of the middle hat·tî·ḵō·w·nāh הָאַשְׁמֹ֣רֶת watch , hā·’aš·mō·reṯ אַ֛ךְ just after ’aḵ הָקֵ֥ם the changing hā·qêm הֵקִ֖ימוּ . . . hê·qî·mū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַשֹּֽׁמְרִ֑ים of the guard . haš·šō·mə·rîm וַֽיִּתְקְעוּ֙ They blew way·yiṯ·qə·‘ū בַּשּׁ֣וֹפָר֔וֹת their horns baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ וְנָפ֥וֹץ and broke wə·nā·p̄ō·wṣ הַכַּדִּ֖ים the jars hak·kad·dîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר that [were] ’ă·šer בְּיָדָֽם׃ in their hands . bə·yā·ḏām Judges 7:20 שְׁלֹ֨שֶׁת The three šə·lō·šeṯ הָרָאשִׁ֥ים companies hā·rā·šîm וַֽ֠יִּתְקְעוּ blew way·yiṯ·qə·‘ū בַּשּֽׁוֹפָרוֹת֮ their horns baš·šō·w·p̄ā·rō·wṯ
