בְּיָדָם֙ with their hands bə·yā·ḏām אֶל־ to ’el- פִּיהֶ֔ם their mouths pî·hem וַיְהִ֗י was way·hî שְׁלֹ֥שׁ three šə·lōš מֵא֖וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ אִ֑ישׁ men ; ’îš וְכֹל֙ all wə·ḵōl יֶ֣תֶר the others ye·ṯer הָעָ֔ם . . . hā·‘ām כָּרְע֥וּ knelt kā·rə·‘ū עַל־ . . . ‘al- בִּרְכֵיהֶ֖ם . . . bir·ḵê·hem לִשְׁתּ֥וֹת to drink liš·tō·wṯ מָֽיִם׃ס . . . . mā·yim Judges 7:7 יְהוָ֜ה Then YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to ’el- גִּדְע֗וֹן Gideon , giḏ·‘ō·wn בִּשְׁלֹשׁ֩ “ With the three biš·lōš מֵא֨וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ הָאִ֤ישׁ men hā·’îš הַֽמֲלַקְקִים֙ who lapped [the water] ha·mă·laq·qîm אוֹשִׁ֣יעַ I will save ’ō·wō·šî·a‘ אֶתְכֶ֔ם you ’eṯ·ḵem וְנָתַתִּ֥י and deliver wə·nā·ṯat·tî מִדְיָ֖ן the Midianites miḏ·yān אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ into your hand . bə·yā·ḏe·ḵā וְכָל־ But all the others wə·ḵāl הָעָ֔ם . . . hā·‘ām יֵלְכ֖וּ are to go yê·lə·ḵū אִ֥ישׁ . . . ’îš לִמְקֹמֽוֹ׃ home . ” lim·qō·mōw Judges 7:8 שִׁלַּח֙ So Gideon sent šil·laḥ אִ֣ישׁ . . . ’îš כָּל־ the rest of kāl- אִ֤ישׁ the Israelites ’îš יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ . . . yiś·rā·’êl לְאֹֽהָלָ֔יו to their tents lə·’ō·hā·lāw הֶֽחֱזִ֑יק but kept he·ḥĕ·zîq וּבִשְׁלֹשׁ־ the three ū·ḇiš·lōš- מֵא֥וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ הָאִ֖ישׁ men , hā·’îš וַיִּקְח֣וּ who took way·yiq·ḥū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּיָדָ֜ם charge of bə·yā·ḏām וְאֵ֣ת - wə·’êṯ צֵדָה֩ the provisions ṣê·ḏāh שׁוֹפְרֹֽתֵיהֶ֗ם and rams’ horns šō·wp̄·rō·ṯê·hem הָעָ֨ם of the others . hā·‘ām וְאֵ֨ת And wə·’êṯ וּמַחֲנֵ֣ה the camp ū·ma·ḥă·nêh מִדְיָ֔ן of Midian miḏ·yān הָ֥יָה lay hā·yāh מִתַּ֥חַת below mit·ta·ḥaṯ ל֖וֹ him lōw בָּעֵֽמֶק׃פ in the valley . bā·‘ê·meq Judges 7:9 וַֽיְהִי֙ - way·hî הַה֔וּא That ha·hū בַּלַּ֣יְלָה night bal·lay·lāh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלָיו֙ to [Gideon] , ’ê·lāw ק֖וּם “ Get up qūm רֵ֣ד [and] go down rêḏ בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה against the camp , bam·ma·ḥă·neh כִּ֥י for kî נְתַתִּ֖יו I have delivered it nə·ṯat·tîw בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃ into your hand . bə·yā·ḏe·ḵā Judges 7:10 וְאִם־ But if wə·’im- אַתָּ֖ה you ’at·tāh יָרֵ֥א are afraid yā·rê לָרֶ֑דֶת to [do so] , lā·re·ḏeṯ רֵ֥ד then go down rêḏ אֶל־ to ’el- הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ the camp ham·ma·ḥă·neh אַתָּ֛ה . . . ’at·tāh נַעַרְךָ֖ with your servant na·‘ar·ḵā וּפֻרָ֥ה Purah ū·p̄u·rāh Judges 7:11 וְשָֽׁמַעְתָּ֙ and listen wə·šā·ma‘·tā מַה־ to what mah- יְדַבֵּ֔רוּ they are saying . yə·ḏab·bê·rū וְאַחַר֙ Then wə·’a·ḥar יָדֶ֔יךָ your hands yā·ḏe·ḵā
